Liams gaze softens then hardens again .
" At least you have parents that actually care about you", he said.
" What? I thought your father gave you the gang", I say confused.
" Well you thought wrong" , Liam says.
" What about you're mother?", I ask.
" Never saw her again after I turned ten", he says as a stray tear runs down his face.
Before I even realized what I was doing , I wiped away his tear.
He looks at me in shock.
I had done the same thing to my mother when she layed on the ground dying from a fatal gunshot wound. I was only 13 when she died.
My eyes must have started to water, because the next thing I knew Liam was hugging me.
Little did I know that he was still going to kidnap me.
" I'm sorry I was just thinking about my mother", I say.
" It's okay, do you want to talk about her?", Liam asks.
I nodded in agreement.
" It all happened in late July. My Mother and I were walking in these very woods spending time together. I ran ahead of her, not knowing that I was in your father's shooting range. The bullet was supposed to kill me not her", I say.
I took a deep breath before continuing.
" But she jumped in front of me and the bullet entered her stomach and exited her lower back", I say and then loose it. Liam hugs me tighter than before and let's me cry myself out.
