CHAPTER FOUR

IF YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOSE

Things had been awkward between hung-ok and Chang min since their encounter this morning, especially with Suzy making funny gestures which did not help at all what she needed now was to call her boyfriend in order to know what the hell is going on at the palace,her sister's betrayal was still unreal to her ,

"yes i must talk to min ho,min ho loves me,he will always be there for me" ,

she thought

that day was a Sunday so Suzy and her brother where both around,she came with her brother to check in on hung-ok.

On getting downstairs she went straight to Kang tae to lend his phone.

" are you sure this min ho guy will pick up the phone,try calling someone else",

Kang tae says to hung-ok after seeing that he numerous attempt to get to him failed.

"what's going on on here?" Chang min says as he walks up to them

"she's trying to get to min ho"

"who?"

"my boyfriend" hung-ok says which made all eyes on her

"do you mean min ho princess hung-a fiance? Suzy says as she walks up to them

"what do you mean by princess hung-a fiance?"

hung-ok asked baffled

"suzyyyy!" Kang tae called out to his sister in disbelief

"what did I do? I am only saying what I saw"

"where?,where did you see it?" hung-ok asked Suzy, facing Suzy with a pleading look

"it's all over the news"

"let me see it " hung-ok says as she searched for it online

"it's not true,it just can't be true what is going on, first my sister tried to kill me and now my boyfriend is getting married to her",

"you know what calm down "

"I have to speak with him probably it is a miss understanding,she might have forced him,min oh loves me,not her and she knows it"

hung-ok says as she looks at them all like the truth where in there faces.

"are you sure?" Chang min says which made them all look at each other in silence

hung-ok was sitting down in the back of the SUV with Chang min in the driver's seat and Kang tae beside him,the afternoon was hot

this will be the last time I interfere with all this drama Chang min says as he sat down uncomfortably in the car

this will be your 5th time saying this Chang min, don't spoil this for her

while all this was going on, hung-ok paid no attention to it,her focus was on Suzy who was was a safe distance from them waiting at a far corner along the road Kim Soo ra does her morning jog, using a face cap to cover up her face.

on seeing the sight of Kim Soo-ra, hung-ok bent down more from her sight in other for Soo-ra not to catch a glimpse of her.

Suzy was dead tired as she stood along the quiet road waiting over two hours for someone which she only saw a picture of , and when she thought she would rather be anywhere but here,she saw the familiar face of Kim Soo-ra coming towards her.

" miss Kim Soo-ra,oh my God am such a fan of yours,I can't believe this"

"please excuse me I don't know you"

"oh I have heard so much about you"

"Kim Soo-ra let's go , you know how the poor people behave this days trying to do anything to get into the palace",

a lady beside Kim Soo-ra says as she tried to drag Kim Soo-ra away

but Suzy was smarter,she ran over to block Kim Soo-ra, spreading her arms out in other for her not to pass

"wait,wait please,can I get hug you just one cause you really inspire me, you know"

"okay,fine"Kim Soo-ra says

but her friends where not that patient and continued their jogging,

so Suzy quickly went straight to the point

"look princess hung-ok is alive and still in Korea,she wants to meet you here without anyone finding out",she says as she passes a small folded piece of paper to Kim Soo-ra,

"and don't forget no one must know she's alive,or in Korea,so come alone"..mthen Suzy walked off leaving the puzzled Soo-ra in shock .

seeing Suzy walk off ,Chang min drives off to meet Suzy at the front in which Suzy enters the car and they drove off.

THE PALACE

"well haven't we gone far together, just yesterday you were after the wrong princess,how does it feel now you are with me,the future Queen of the kingdom of Korea?",

hung-a ask min ho in a low voice as he escort her into the event hall,where they where having a art show case for the less privileged kids,with the bright lights facing them as pictures of them were taken

"well I feel delighted,cause now I am now the man among men"

they both smiled to the cameras like they were not saying anything with princess hung-a waving her hands to them.

OUTSIDE THE PALACE

the sight of hung-a in the television screen made hung-ok feel less worthy, hung-ok has always been seeing to activities of both princesses for so long that she was now more familiar with the affairs of the state,with her innocent smile and fake shyness anyone who saw hung-a would believe her to be the perfect princess hung-ok felt I feeling of anger grow within her when she felt Suzy and tap her

"princess hung-ok it's time to get going", it was a reminder of her meeting with Kim Soo-ra which Kang tae was to drive them just to make sure they were safe.

on getting to their appointed meeting place Kim Soo-ra was already waiting,Suzy was the first one to approach her until hung-ok came into view

your highness,is that you,is that truly you Kim Soo-ra says as she runs to hug hung-ok

"so you are still here,I thought something happened to you,I couldn't believe you ran away with a lover especially when that good for nothing min ho was your boyfriend"

"look Soo-ra I need to talk to you,let's leave this place".

princess hung-ok decided to talk with Soo-ra in an uncompleted building.

" so you mean min ho is truly engaged to hung-a" hung-ok says in a baffled way ,

"I can't believe this,so they planned all this all along"

"well I don't know,but Minho never for one did like he missed you,he even walks around the palace like he owns the place ,he is such a good for nothing guy,he also pretends like he never was your boyfriend, you need to come back,the palace is in such a mess"

"what of Father,is he truly dead?"

"yes he is,and I am sorry,false rumors of your death is out there but princess hung-a made no correction to the false rumors going around,and they both live like newly Weds even though the princess and Minho haven't made a formal engagement,they spend almost all the nights together,if you know what I mean".

on getting home, Suzy and Kang tae waved hung-ok good night as they went to their house.on entering the house hung-ok felt no one was at home,she had a feeling that Chang min does not like her,he didn't even behave like he cared she was the princess of the country. hung-ok walks to the kitchen thought she had no appetite she needed to put something in her stomach Even if some of what they eat were unfamiliar to her that was when she heard a sound like someone moving , though afraid hung-ok went to look for where the sound came from, walking into a room which door was half opened she saw that the sound came from billy,Chang min dog , which she bends brown to give a Rob when she noticed the wall behind him,it was pin with cut photos,and old news paper photos of people in the palace trying to run back like she was never here she felt movement like someone was coming in,there was no where to run or hide that was when she saw a cap which she took and that was when Chang min came in seeing hung-ok rooted to a spot with fear in her face, holding a cap like a defense weapon.
