"I'm not going to take a kid in!" he argued, "I have a studio apartment!"
"I can't take her in either until we get the credentials. I am a detective."
Throughout all their bickering Sakura politely raised her hand as if she was in class back in the Academy. It took a while for them to notice her but they finally did.
"I can sleep in a cell then, "she sighed, "You can lock me in and everything as long as I get to sleep. I did break a law, a minor law, but still it is a law."
There was no more struggle in conviction as the tired men who were only running on seven cups of coffee languidly led her to an empty cell. There was not futon but at least she wasn't being chained to a chair or the wall.
"You sure you want to sleep here?" Naomasa asked.
"Yeah, absolutely."
Sakura laid on the floor without caring about what the officers were thinking. In a matter of seconds she was fast asleep, somehow looking comfortable on the cold floor. She had to admit that it was a step up from sleeping on the wet earth during a reconnaissance or assassination mission.
The two were troubled by the fact that they had forgotten about her injuries in the midst of their heated discussion. She hadn't complained one bit or even made a wince of pain so the thought had escaped their minds.
Naomasa and Sansa wanted to have her get some medical attention but the way she had fallen asleep had shown how tired she was. Sakura needed some well deserved rest after all, she had been taken into a foreign place after the loss of everything she knew.
"What exactly should we do? We are the authorities but even I don't know what to do from here. We can't just pass her through the system..."
"Maybe there's someone that knows her?"
"From what she's told us, there's an almost zero percent chance."
The situation wasn't in the handbook for a person as strange as her.
"Maybe we can contact the Principal of UA? He is a genius after all. Whatever quirk she has is dangerous so it should be better if she's acquainted with some of the heroes."
"Are you sure? What if she retaliates?"
"There really is no where for her to go..."
"Alright."

She could see it all: the meeting and what fate would become of her. He slightly reminded her of Shikamaru but he was more ambitious and had been experimented on to have beyond-human intelligence. Most of all, the animal/man governing a hero school... Hated humans. What an oxymoron in itself.
She could already see herself being led through the hallways and peeking into the small door windows to see the empty desks where students would diligently work on their classwork. The huge doors towered over her average height and frame and the windows almost begged to be chakra punched in- No, looked out of for the great view.
Sansa and Naomasa would accidentally walk down the wrong hallway before realizing it because of All Might, as he had stated. After a couple minutes traveling through the right corridor, they would reach the double doors to the office in which Nezu sat comfortably in his chair.

She woke up with a start, gripping her chest in which the healed fatal wound felt aflame. Tears streamed down her cheeks, whether they be from sorrow or the pain, she didn't know. Her pink hair had been tousled into a rat's nest and blood dripped from the palms of her hands. Fingernail shaped cuts littered her hands. "Naruto..."
"You up to go to U.A.? It's a school for heroes and the Principal may be able to help you." The interrogator looked at her blankly, giving no rise to emotion by her tears. By his job title of detective, she suspected that he dealt with it a lot.
No, they were going to use her as a tool to benefit them. At least Konohagakura wasn't exactly like that, especially since Naruto Uzumaki existed in that universe. However, she might as well make use of her useless life.
"Alright. What about my clothes?"
She gestured half-hardheartedly to the almost forgotten bag in the corner. Sakura didn't exactly want all the stolen money to go to waste, especially since it could've been spent on food.
"I'll load it into the cruiser. Just hop on in the back and Sansa and I will take you there."
"Mmm, " she hummed and wiped off her cheeks.
She took a bit of time getting ready to the point where her hair looked somewhat decent and not that she had an eccentric bedhead. Yawning, she pushed open the cell door and slowly but surely walked out the front door. Sakura was much too tired for this already.
Now in the daytime she could see everything that she couldn't visible examine during the night. Strange wires hung along the streets on tall poles and the buildings were shaped at odd angles.
"Come on... Err..."
"Sakura, " she informed before she answered his beckoning hand.
Opening and shutting the door, she buckled her seatbeat, facial expression as placid as ever. Calmly she looked out of the window, seeing the sun's rays bouncing off the water and causing it to glisten like diamonds.
Soon enough, a large building, more complex and grand than the others came into view. They pulled up to it and parked the car in what they insisted to be a 'legal area.' After showing their badge to the strangely fortified door it opened and they stepped inside.
The garden area had been tended nicely and the front entrance didn't lack the grandiose that the regular people could still view from afar. However, the impact was lessened by the fact that she had already seen it once before. Seeing it in a dream still felt as if she was actually there with all five senses involved. It could almost be classified as a genjutsu that only worked on her.
"Sakura, we're going to have you talk with the Principal. You can trust him with what your quirk is..."
Already through the whole thing she stayed silent. There was no need to talk if the vision didn't include her talking at all. As they walked it became clear that they were feeling awkward and wished for some sort of icebreaker. However, that wasn't her job. Instead, watching kids pick apart problems that would only rattle her brain for a millisecond was.
"Are you interested in the school?" Sansa asked.
"Not particularly, " she answered, "They're struggling over such easy problems that they're comparable to that of an eight year old."
It was absolutely true. The pace at Konoha definitely beats theirs but she may have thought that Naruto would've excelled at that pace as a child. Nowadays he could easily keep up with everyone if not faster, except for her and Shikamaru, of course.
After walking in the wrong direction for a couple minutes, the detective cursed, "Damn, we've been going the wrong way. I thought about All Might and was instinctively going in that direction."
"It's alright, " she murmured, not caring for the same apology twice.
Silence followed right after as they approached their actual destination. Opening the doors she saw the familiar face of the white ex-experiment with a cup of tea delicately in his paws.
"I've been expecting you."
