Hawkrider street.
In the second floor of Henrietta's Magic Shop, inside a room, a girl was lazily sitting near the windows and looking outside. The room was very big so it couldn't be said a living room nor a storage room. Its wooden floor was covered in a soft grey carpet. There were as many as 3-5 chairs neatly arranged near where the girl was sitting.
Opposite to the bunch of chairs, near a wall was a large desk, on which there were many pages stacked upon eachother. Writing on one of the papers with a quill pen was another lady. She was sitting on a high back chair wearing yellow clothing.
After a while, the yellow clothed lady seemed to have finished writing as she added the newly written paper on stack and looked at the girl.
"Miss, this is the fifth time you ran away from the palace. You know, many people are searching you these days. This time Sir Court Mage Seanad might really get angry." the lady seemed to be very worried for her miss.
"So what? Nobody saw me when I came here." the young miss's reply was as though she couldn't careless about it. Since the last time her miss ran away from the palace, she had always been like this.
However, the girl had other thoughts in her mind. The Court Mage for others and a father for her, Seanad always confined here to the palace.
From her birth till now, she had to learn various etiquette lesson, magic lesson and art lessons in the palace. She didn't remember when was the last time she went outside with her father's consent.
It was not that she didn't ask for it to her father but the answer she got was.
"My daughter, you should stay in the castle. It is very dangerous outside."
When her father said this, she would always have to stay in the palace. With that happening everytime she requested her father, 16 years passed. During that time, the only friend she had was the Princess but even so a Princess had her own duties and matters. She couldn't always be there with her.
Now she was tired of living in that prison called The Royal Palace. She wanted to experience what life was like outside the palace. So three months ago, she had stealthily left its confines and came to the market. The only mistake she had done at that time was not wearing the capote she wore today.
But that time, she had met an amazing enchanter. His scrolls, even though being enchanted by only apprentice level spells, had the powers very close to rank 1 spells.
'If not for those hatelful Palace guards finding me the next day, I could have definitely met that enchanter.' thinking about the palace guards made the young girl very angry.
Even the lowest guard of the palace was at least rank 2. So when they found her that day, she didn't have any chance to escape. When she was 'escorted' to the palace by those guards, her father gave her the punishment of not letting her outside from her bedchamber for five days.
When she finally mustered up her courage and ran away the 15th day and had came to the same bazaar again, that enchanter was nowhere to be seen.
"Sigh..." The girl sighed as she again stared outside to the street. Today was also a busy day for these shop owners.
'I wonder when can I find that enchan- huh...isn't that him?!'
As the girl was looking at the mages who were exiting a particular shop, she saw Aren among them. Although he was wearing the same black cloak like others, his strikingly black hair made him stand out among others.
He looked to be searching for something or maybe escaping from something as he was entering one shop after another.
The girl looked again closely through the glass windows and confirmed that it was him. She excitedly grabbed her capote which could completely cover her beautiful face and rushed outside.
"Miss where are you going?" the lady had just finished asking when the door of the room closed with a bang. The miss was already outside.
....
Meanwhile, Aren was frantically being chased around by a bunch of seniors who were hell bent on breaking all his bones.
'Damn you Lucifier! Why do your lackeys just have to find me today?' Aren was very furious this time. When he had finally found a clue about that beauty and was coming to this street today, one of the underlings under Lucifier found him.
That one underling was not a problem for him though as he could easily escape him with his fast speed. Even if that underling buffed himself with haste, he wouldn'tbe able to reach Aren's speed as a rank 1 agility based fighter.
But the situation changed as soon as the underling called for help. This help call however brought a 'platoon of lackeys' to this street and all of them were senior apprentices. Now at least 20 or maybe even more apprentices were searching for him.
Aren turned to another corner while running, thinking that they might lose him but...
"There he is!" a senior apprentice pointed at him as soon as he saw Aren emerge from a corner. He then turned the spell book in his hands and hurriedly started casting a spell.
'They are even here!?' Aren was now stupefied by the sheer number of apprentices searching for him. However, as he saw the apprentice in front of him cast a spell, he also opened his spellbook and started chanting the incantations.
As Aren had a higher aptitude, he had the same spirit as that of the senior's. But with him being a high human, Aren managed to finish the incantations 5 seconds earlier than the senior. He, however, didn't cast it as soon as he finish chanting but held the last incantation.
4 seconds later, when the senior was also about finish chanting and was about to hurl the fireball formed in his hand, Aren cast his spell just at that moment.
Bestow Misfortune!
"Fazret- Ack! Cough! Cough!" the senior choked just as he chanted the last incantation. Due to him ''accidentally'' choking in his saliva, he started coughing while holding his neck with his hands. The fireball spell which was about to be finished also dissappeared and the senior also had to bear the blacklash.
His head started to feel a little dizzy. As he was about to stabilize his eyesight, a karate chop landed on the back of his neck making him completely lose his consciousness.
Aren held the body of senior which was about to fall down. He couldn't kill a senior so he could only make them unconscious. However, as he just heaved a sigh of relief, he hurriedly ducked to sides.
Even so, that acid shot had grazed past his cloak. If he hadn't move away at time, Aren was sure that there would have been a hole in his chest by now.
'There is no time to waste. They have already found my location, I should move quick.' He thought as he ran towards where the carriages would be parked. The carriages were all made up of special alloys, so they could withstand apprentice level spells.
He turned ran quickly with looking at who fired that spell in his direction. Within half a minute, he reached the center of Hawkrider street. Just as he was about to rush to the carriages, a soft palm landed on his shoulder.
Aren jolted and hastily turned around only to see a hooded figure. His heart sank, at this distance if this person cast a spell it would be a sure hit. But why didn't he sense this person coming?
Aren already had started to construct the spell model of haste in his mind. However, just as he was close to finish his spell, the hooded figure uncovered her head from the hood.
"...White robed beauty?"
