100. The gossip

"That's impossible. Why would he take the girls in the first place if he wants to set them free?" Cressida questioned.

"That is because of his father." The girl said.

"What do you mean?" Cressida asked.

"The pervert is his father who takes girls from the East and the Lord sets them free." The girl explained.

"What?" Cressida knitted her brows and gaped her mouth. She then recalled all the times, the way he gazed at her. Why would he gaze at her like a pray?

"I heard he got married." A girl said more like a whisper.

Cressida's ears automatically alerted to her words. She looked at the girl who stated it.

"You know I even heard he never touched a girl." The other girl said.

'Ah seriously.' Cressida thought.

"I think he doesn't like girls."

"What about the girl he married then?"

Cressida looked at them as they talked. 'Don't they know who he married?' She thought.

"Have you seen the bride?" Cressida asked.
