The next day arrived, the stadium filled to the brim to see the battles.

If it arrives the time, I would gladly accept your challenge. I hope you give all of you in these battles."
The four participants clenched their hands with emotion. She was the peak, the dream to surpass of every swordmaster.
"As all of you are the participants are current members of the Inner Valley, I had decided to change a little the winner prize" Sword Douluo lifted her hand, a blindly light surging from it. Once the light dispersed, a shining object could be seen over her hand. It was like a crystal fragment.

"The matches have been decided!" quickly acted Shining Light "It would be Darkness vs Stargod and Skyfrost vs Golden Dragon. Start!"
Over one half of the ring, Stargod found herself facing Darkness who like always she was holding her greatsword, showing that it wasn't truly her spirit, it was man-made.
"What is your relation with Xueqin?" Darkness suddenly asked coldly, black aura surging from her.
Stargod looked strangely at her, not knowing why did she asked that "Who is Xueqin?"
The aura around Darkness seemed to calm, becoming much stable "Nevermind, if you don't know." (I saw them talking but the might be only acquaintances)
Darkness lifted her greatsword and pointed at Stargod "Let's have a good fight" She charged towards Stargod, dark aura surging from her greatsword, leaving a trail of it.
"Let's fight!" Shouted Stargod as she invoked her sword, a starry intent surging from it as she charged towards Darkness.
Darkness lifted her greatsword and swung it downwards towards Stargod. Stargod already expecting the move, nimbly stepped at the side, using her greater agility to avoid the attack, thrusting her sword towards Darkness. However, she underestimated Darkness's strength.

Stargod found himself unable to continue her attack, she twisted her sword positioning over herself, covering with her Stargod Intent, trying to protect herself.
Darkness intent posed too much for the Stargod, even with her defense, she was blasted away over 20 meters, almost falling out of the ring. Her clothes were damaged and all her body was trembling. The worst was that some darkness was still clinging over her body, continuously making her weaker. It was clear that Darkness's comprehension was stronger than Stargod, Stargod being unable to break the darkness.
"Tch!" Stargod cursed. She had been too eager. She should have act calmer and slowly dragging her opponent down as greatsword users while they are usually stronger, they waste a lot more energy with every attack. With only one wrong move, Stargod was pushed up against the ropes.
"I didn't want to go have a bout of strength, but if I don't finish this quickly my disadvantages would only grow" Stargod lifted her sword that glimmered with a shining light. She twisted it, pointing towards Darkness, positioning herself in a charging stance.

"BOOM!" Both clashed, their auras exploding trying to win over the other. It was really beautiful, like a crash of a dark night against a starry sky, one trying to swallow the other while the other tried to illuminate.
"Hg!" Slowly, the result was being seen. Stargod was slowly being pushed, her starry sky being swallowed by darkness.
"You lack resolve" Darkness said pushing her greatsword forward.
"Crack!" Stargod saw how her sword was destroyed in pieces, her gaze turned blank as she lost her consciousness due to her spirit being destroyed, her intent disappearing completely.
Without the starry intent, the darkness leaned over Stargod threatening to swallow her. However, just as it was about to hit Stargod, all the darkness dispersed, returning to Darkness's greatsword.
Darkness looked coldly at Stargod one last time and she turned towards Xueqin "Don't lose Xueqin. I will be the one killing" Her eyes turned red and black uncontrolled aura surged from her.
