Silver Sisters

"Bang!" "Bang!" Bullets rained all over the battlefield being shot by Weilan.

Xueqin with his eyes closed avoided most of them, always moving with the minimum movements while reflecting the others with his twin swords. His movements were fluid and perfect, having a complete grasp of his surroundings.

In his time at the Ning family, Xueqin had faced against Weilan so many times that it was difficult to even keep the account of them. That made Xueqin extremely familiar with Weilan's fighting style, not posing any problem at all now when it was time to fight together or against her. For Xueqin, it was the perfect training to perfect his Mind Eye that had expanded over 5 meters close to a domain where he could sense anything in it.

"It's time to finish" Xueqin clenched his swords and crossed over the rain of bullets, directly thrusting his right sword towards Weilan.

"Clank!" Weilan diverted the sword taking out her gray spear. She knew that her Spear Consciousness was weaker than Xueqin's Sword Intent so she couldn't be forced to a direct clash or she would lose.

Weilan twirled her spear, thrusting it towards Xueqin's unprotected right side.

Xueqin tilted his body to the left, avoiding Weilan's spear. He withdrew his left sword and thrust his left hand, gripping over Weilan's arm who couldn't cope with his speed. Using her own momentum, Xueqin threw her forward, increasing her speed and throwing her to the ground.

Once Weilan tried to stand up, the first thing that she saw was a sword in front of her eyes.

"You have lost again sister" Xueqin grinned as he stood holding his sword in front of Weilan "You have a good grasp of your surroundings when you use your guns, but once you change to the spear you seem to forget about it. You became too rash, rushing over your opponent and letting yourselves completely open."

Xueqin withdrew his swords and offered Weilan his hand, helping her stand up "Sister, I'm curious. Why did you start using a spear? It doesn't go well with the clan's style and spirit as you can't support yourself. If you focused over fire weapons, you might been better."

"You don't understand." Weilan shook her head "It's all for the future" She said very serious "I will never be a weak support." She glanced at Xueqin "And you think that you are the one to say it? Mr Jack of all Trades."

"Touche" Xueqin smiled.

Weilan picked up her spear and closed her eyes as she started breathing "I need to become strong" She opened her eyes and looked towards the near lake.

To their spars, they had discovered a little training ground near the Poseidon Lake. It was far from the Inner Court entrance so almost no one passed through it. It was a very calm and full of soul energy environment, perfect for their training.

Xueqin looked at her determined amethyst eyes and saw a cyan glow in them, followed by a curious and excited look on her face.

"Come!" Weilan shouted as she started running over the lakeshore.

"What?" Xueqin was surprised by Weilan's sudden action, but nevertheless, he chased after her, quickly catching up her. As Weilan continued running, Xueqin could listen some music coming from that direction.

Weilan stopped still as she looked in front of her at the lakeshore, the cyan over her eyes glowing incredibly bright now. There next to a tree, stood two girls.

One of them was kneeling on the ground resting her back over the tree as she played the harp while a white cat was laying on her lap. She was an incredibly beautiful girl in her early teens with already curves in the right places and a blossoming chest. She had white and fair skin and orange eyes with long straight white-silver hair that spread over the ground, but it was completely clean, seemingly like dirt didn't dare to taint her. She wore a long white dress with silver adornments.

She moved her long fingers effortlessly over the harp with her eyes closed, seemingly to be caressing it. The beautiful music from the harp was warm, elegant and exquisite. Listening it was enough to calm the mind and heal the heart.

She seemed like an otherworldly noble, holy and ephemeral fairy.

The other girl was younger, seemingly a bit younger than Xueqin and Weilan. She was without any doubt a very beautiful and cute young girl, on par with the other girl. She was somewhat similar at the other girl, with silver-white hair, a little more silver than the other and cut it short at her shoulder weight. Her eyes were amethyst and shined like jewels. She wore tight pink robes that didn't obstruct her movements, focusing on the practical use.

While the other girl was playing the harp, she was swinging a long spear silver spear almost her height. She elegantly swung it around, rather than fighting, she seemed to be dancing with her spear, both becoming one in perfect synchrony, her spear part of her body. Some different colored particles flew around her, giggling excitedly as they seemed attracted to her.

Both Ning siblings were entranced by the sight, each one focusing on one of the girls. Weilan's eyes shined brightly with a cyan color as she looked at the younger girl, not wanting to lose any of her movements.

On the other hand, Xueqin's gaze was fixed over the older girl. The harp music resounded over his body and calming it and his face blushing red as he looked at her.

The older girl finished her song "It seems that we have company" She opened her eyes turning towards Xueqin and Weilan.

The younger girl stopped her dance and turned towards the siblings, shyness could be seen from her eyes.

The older girl stood up, the cat over her lap repositioning over her shoulder "You can here, we do not bite" She giggled a little. Her giggles were like her harp, very harmonic.

Xueqin and Weilan broke up from their trance and stood up from their place. They blushed a little having been discovered spellbound towards them. Now that they had been discovered, they didn't have other options than to go. They approached the two girls.

"Who might you be?" The older girl asked looking at the two.

"I am Ning Xueqin" Xueqin presented himself. Then he pointed at Weilan "And she is my sister".

"Ning Weilan" Weilan presented herself.

"Sorry, to observe you without permission" Xueqin apologized "We were training near here and we were attracted by your beautiful song. We couldn't help to be enchanted by it."

The older girl's eyes went wide for an instant when she heard their names, but it was so subtle that went undiscovered for the Ning siblings. "You do not need to worry. I am always glad to play for people that appreciate my music" She smiled so brightly that seemed to shine like the sun "Even when your sister seemed to be more attentive to my little sister." She giggled.

"We do not even present ourselves. I am Ya Guangying and this is my little sister Na'er" Na'er approached her sister, using her as a shield "Sorry, for her. She is a little shy with estrangers."

"Let's be friends" Weilan jumped forward, forcefully taking Na'er's hands with her owns as she smiled brightly at her. Of course, Na'er got scared by the sudden movements, flinching.

"Sister, you shouldn't be so forceful" Xueqin stepped forward trying to take Weilan away, who was scaring Na'er. However, something jumped in front of him stopping his tracks.

"Meeeowwwww!" It was Guangying's cat that jumped from her shoulders in front of Xueqin, slashing its claws to him, slashing a little cut over Xueqin's arm. The cat was white with orange stripes over its back. It was like a cute little tiger. It stood in front of Xueqin with its body and fur raised threatening at him, preparing to attack him.

Guangying blinked in surprise "Calm down, Maomao" Guangying lowered her body, embracing the cat, caressing it and calming it as it started purring.

Guangying turned towards Xueqin "Sorry for him. I do not know what happened to him. It had never behaved like this unlike I was being threatened" Guangying seemed to realize something and quickly shook her hands apologizing "It is not like I am saying that you wanted to attack me. I know that you do not have any bad intention." She blushed a little "Mu, why did you do that, Maomao?" She said caressing the cat.

"Meowwww" A purr was her only answer, but that gained a bright smile over.

"Do not do it again" Guangying put the cat over her shoulder and turned towards Xueqin "Let me heal you that wound" She approached Xueqin and took her arm, causing Xueqin to blush.

A white light surged from her arms and a warm and refreshing feeling crossed over Xueqin.

"Just like new" Guangying smiled.

Xueqin looked at his arm and saw the wound completely healed, like there was never been a wound, showing that Guangying was most surely a healing spirit master.

"Thanks" Xueqin said "But what's that?" He said pointing at the cat "Is it a spirit beast?" Xueqin was curious about it. He knew that spirit beasts were very rare, he only having seen one brought by Mucheng. He didn't know that they could be domesticated.

"Oh, Maomao? He is my spirit soul" Guangying explained "He suffered a mutation once I fused with him and he is able to manifest whenever he wants. Not like it a dislike it, because he is too cute" She said caressing it.

"Sister" Na'er said with a low voice. She had her face blushing as she wanted to ask for help, looking at Guangying with pleading eyes. Over this time, Weilan had completely ignored Xueqin and Guangying and focused on Na'er, asking her all about her, pressuring her. Due to her shyness, she could only do low moans trying to answer the question. She finally was able to ask for her sister's help.

Guangying giggled seeing Na'er situation "You should start making friends of your age and enjoy your infancy. You spend too much time training and cultivating."

Na'er's eyes showed despair "But, it seems that it is becoming late. We must leave or our masters would worry about us." Guangying said taking Na'er from Weilan's grip who made a little sad face.

Holding her hand with Na'er, Guangying turned to the Ning siblings "Let us meet again in the future. I really want for Na'er to make some friend" Guangying said "Something tells me that we are destined to meet again" She smiled.

"Yes, let's meet again!" Weilan and Xueqin said together.

"Sorry again for Maomao. If you have any problem or you need some healing, you can always ask for my help at the inner court" She said before leaving the place with Na'er.

Once they were alone, Xueqin turned towards Weilan "They said Inner Court?" Weilan nodded slowly "I thought that people of our age can't be there. How can Na'er be part of it? We never meet her."

"I don't know why. But they must have special circumstances" Weilan answered "But now, I am even more fired to go to the Inner Court" She said full of determination with an ardent gaze.

"Now that you said, what happened with you? You suddenly started running and you were enchanted by Na'er" Xueqin said.

"Look who says it. The one that couldn't stop blushing at Guangying. Are you in love?" Weilan giggled.

"No!" Xueqin quickly shouted "It was only that she was very beautiful and I liked her harp" He said a little shyly.

"Xueqin and Guanying, kissing under a tree♪" She started teasing.

"Ah, stop!" Xueqin puffed his cheeks "And don't change the subject. What happened to you?!"

"Okay, I will stop teasing you, little brother" She smiled. Then, she turned serious "You know about the special eyes of our clan? Like yours capable of seeing the swords' quality and Grangran being able to see about humans" Xueqin nodded "I also have it. Mine is about spears. And I could see it, Na'er shined really bright with seven different colors. She is the best and most beautiful spear that I never saw, making her talent and future achievements incalculable. I want to be her friend."

Xueqin nodded. He could understand Weilan. He also had a little obsession with the swords and every time he saw one shining, he wanted to fight a lot with him. It was the case of Xinglan for example and now they were very friends.

"Let's return to the dorm. It's becoming late" Weilan said, both of them leaving the place, returning to their dormitory.
