Chapter:6-The Trembling Earth

(Mint POV)

"did you feel that?"

"what happened?"

when I see Han was furious about something and he feels wierd just now. I get off my comfort mode and tries to acknowledge his words and try to understand what he wanna say. I felt something and I suddenly notice at the cup which was placed on the table, the coffee in it was trembling. I asked Han if he also sees that thing. an earthquake maybe? but this was too small.

at the random,

we can see the things in the cafe was stated to tremble quite slowly and it all started with the cup of coffee in the table first, then the antique items on the shop then our tea was trembling badly as soon as I notice it a big one, I can sense the whole cafe was shaking like crazy. our body was looking like in vibration mode. and my heart rate rises up. I looked at Hans's face and I speak directly "it's an earthquake."

"Get down. everybody hide your self under the table. protect yourself from the falling objects."

I suddenly take charge, shout and grab the hands of Han strongly and drag him under the table with me. I saw the things were falling rapidly on the floor. I advice Han to grab the table legs strongly as the shaking of the ground makes the table more complicated to hold on. the ground of the cafe broke down and the walls were cracking like it was going to fall off.

the whole cafe was trembling like a jelly pudding but unlike jelly pudding, the shaking makes the huge impact, the cracking of the walls to collapse itself.

bang!!!

the roof was started to fall off direct on us.

a concrete block from above falls down on our table. but luckily the table was strong enough to hold, that the block didn't fall directly upon us. I asked Han if he is alright or not? but his face was completely blank and I can sense how horrified he looked. that much horrified that he even close his eyes. not just us the other customer which was next to our table was crying and started to pray to God for forgiveness for his sins.

"calm down Han it will be over soon. I'm here with you don't be afraid."

I myself closed my eyes after another block falls on us. I was so much terrified. I can smell the dust, which was happened to made through the falling concrete blocks and broken items on the shops. It just happened to me, I was thinking about dying in a place like this today. my hands weren't enough strong to hold the table, I slipped. and the body was drawn backwards and I fell on my back while I was stared to see things clearly, I saw the upper bulbs got broken and the pieces of broken glasses of the bulb were going to shatter my face, coming directly towards me down there.

Is this it, am I going to die in here? just lying at the bottom of this coffee shop. I don't have enough courage to take a step and get up before it hits me. I closed my eyes and let myself lay down there. completely give up. so I won't see myself wasting my energy to saving myself. feeling worthless to do so.

"Mint"

a voice shouted at me I open my eyes to see who was it? I saw him, my brother, Han. he rapidly left his place to help me out. he took my left hand and pull me up while covering my head with his right hand. he pushes and pulls me at the same time. pushes my head with his right hand and pulls my left arm with his left. so, I cannot get hurt by those pieces of glasses from the above. he uses both arms and legs too. he pushed me to the table with him. when I noticed, I saw his right leg got hurt in the procedure. the fallen pieces smash with no mercy to his right leg over his calf part. he cried out loud. but luckily I got my senses back and drag his leg before something else fall upon.

"I'm so sorry. this is all my fault you got hurt."

I cried.

"Ah! My leg."

he cried out loud but he keeps his pain away from sometimes and focuses on saving us from this disaster first.

we grab the taken last long this duration until the whole thing stops itself.

the movement lasts long for somewhat times and then it completely stopped.

rampage throws the total destruction of the cafe. the whole of the cafe was wiped out in an instant I saw the cafe staffs were helping each other and the person who was next to our table was also fine. but I need to focus on Han he got wounded because of me. I took him on my back and get out of the cafe.

"how did all happened?"
