Chapter:21 - Changing Of Topic

(Mint POV)

The destructive power of the earth that arose, claims its anger and the land got its peace back. and then we left everything behind and from the ashes, we pick up the junk that was collected and surrounds us. until now everywhere was chaos. but circumstances were now fine.

humans have a habit of helping others and make habitation in the community.

we are one of the beings who eliminate the difference among us and moves to help each other who were in needs. likewise, after mother nature has allowed us to stand again after her anger. humans support each other in this harsh condition.

ah! those were two harsh times humankind have gone through. the destruction and the loss of lives even though they were stranger as you know every life is precious and we are no one to judge who to die or who to live besides we all pray to God to treat everyone better.

people were picking up the wrecked fractions of their belongings and try to move on with what had happened so far. I do too.

I was helping myself first of all, cause If I don't, I might not be able to help others. as soon as everything calm, I try to know everyone's health and condition first. so I make calls to everyone close one I know. when I heard they all are out of danger, It was a breathing release for me. things are now stable. as far as these consequences went. our life went to its normal tracks. yes! I have some special news.

I and Martin hooked up, as soon as that day passed, I asked Martin to be my boyfriend and It worked. like I was on cloud 9 and couldn't believe at first. that I get accepted so easy, maybe he has mutual feelings So the things went smoothly.

when I say smoothly, it doesn't just mean us. there is another soon to be made couple.

"Jasmine and Freddie" after That incident Jasmine was able to slowly but progressively try to open her heart. and from that day on there was going to have a new fresh start of their journey. I hope they end with each other. well to the next- Han's legs were plastered and he was advised to not play football for a while and he has to take some physical treatments from hospital time to time before play again on the field. luckily Kim and max weren't harmed and most of all "Eric" whom we were so concerned about finally get off the hospital after a few weeks. when I ask, how is he? his reply was.

"everything us fine, I am all right."

his cute smile always convinced me. despite having that deadly trauma almost die. he was looking not much tensed or having anxiety within him. he still thank the army man who saved his life and wanting to meet him again sometime.

{on the next. after 3 months.}

I finally find myself loving this guy. so adorable and cute most if all smart one. and now what next? I forget to tell you that we haven't declared openly our relationship with our friends yet. we need to do that too.

"Should we tell our friends that we are officially now? or we should wait for some more time."

in regarding this matter, I asked Martin about his opinion whether we tell them or not? he didn't want to force me so he just said.

"I'm comfortable whatever your choice is. it is not easy to for people like us to publicly announce our relationship like another straight couple do I can understand that. you don't need to worry about that. I'm fine. take your time to figure everything out I'm here."

we are not yet public. but. was planning to at least we should tell our friends and closed ones. as Han stated

"you do not need to pretend to be fake Mint."

I need to be open about myself, to people cause if I do, I feel more comfortable around my loved ones. so I shall stop lying to them.

so I decide to tell them about us on our vacation that is going to happen next week.

"Martin, where should we go?"

"h?"

"I mean our vacation is going to start next week. I was thinking about going on an outing with all our friends somewhere outside of Pattaya. what do you think?"

"I'm fine with anything. but if you insist on my suggestion I think 🤔 we should go somewhere outside of Thailand."

"I guess this will work too."

"But Mint, we have to ask our friends about their ideas first."

"ya for sure."

on the next day, I asked, basically texted everyone to come to the college campus to meet me. Eric was on the different campus but due to his faculty comes under the same university students from his faculty are allowed to enter inside the main campus as well. I hurried as soon as I wake up the next day to the campus. I guess I was too early. so I sat down on the bench near the campus field. I was suffering the bet playing games online while waiting for them. the timing we have decided was 8:00 am, it was perfect timing for me but I guess, not for everyone else in the group.

"they are late."

it's already 8:20 am and not a single one of them can be found in my radius. I guess I was the only one wake up this early.

oh! wait!

there is someone. Eric!

"Hey, Mint what up?"

"hey there. come sit beside me."

"so what do you want to talk about with all of us?"

"wait for everyone else I'll tell you soon."

"fine with me."

"I got a text from Martin and Han they were on their way. where are Freddie and Kim?"

"oh! them. they haven't yet wake up then when I called them an hours ago. I was like a wake-up call for them. they were probably going to be here soon."

we were still waiting for our friends to come. sitting beside each other and playing with our phone cause we don't have a topic to talk with each other.

"Mint, where are Max and Jasmine?"

"oh! Them. I got their msg and they were on the run for something today. so they can't join us. Jasmine said she is a little busy, so go on without her and tell her what was this meet-up about after. we will do that same with Max as well. they probably were busy this morning."

there they are."

as soon as they arrive at us. I picked up the topic and discuss with them where should we go for for the destination.
