Chapter 74

Yuno started off the attack by launching a wind blast straight towards Asta. Asta cut through it and rushed towards him.

Yuno dodged and created wind blades aiming for Asta's left side.

Asta felt that attack coming and flew upwards. He felt the attacks follow him so flew straight towards Yuno.

Yuno quickly moved away from Asta, as a wind blast come from behind Yuno towards Asta.

Asta dodged by going over it and the blast destroyed the wind blades.

Asta then went straight towards Yuno.

' Gale white bow. '

Multiple wind arrows fired and went towards Asta. Asta dodged all of them and went to Yuno.

Yuno was in front of Asta.

' Spirit storm '

Yuno got ready to fire as Asta kicked his wrist and it fired upwards. He then spun and slashed Yuno's right shoulder.

Yuno retreated as Asta looked at him.

Yuno grabbed Asta with a wind lasso and threw him away into a mountain. The mountain crumbled as Asta got out.

Yuno then fired another spirit storm straight towards Asta. Asta looked at it and dodge it before rushing towards Yuno.

' Tornado fang. '

Yuno attacked Asta with a tornado as it rushed towards him. Yuno kept aiming for attacking Asta's left side.

Asta was looked at the attack and rammed through it.

He knew he had to finish this soon. He couldn't hold this form for long.

Yuno dodged again but Asta followed him this time.

Yuno kept trying to dodge Asta and bombard him with spells but Asta kept closing the distance.

Yuno could see it through, Asta was getting tired but held true for him as well.

He wouldn't be able to hold this form for much longer.

Yuno dodged Asta again and blasted him to the ground. Asta landed as he looked at Yuno who fired straight at him.

' Spirit storm. '

Yuno fired his attack at Asta, who stood there.

He couldn't hold the form any longer so he decided to use something that he tried beforehand.

Holding his sword up and forcing the rest of the anti-magic he had in his body to his sword, he slashed forward.

The slash cut through Yuno's attack and left a slash mark on his chest. He had released his spirit form and fell to the ground.

Sylph come out and flew next to him.

" You did well. " She said smiling.

" Yeah but I lost. " Yuno said with tears.

" Yep, you did. So get stronger and beat him next time. " Sylph said.

"I'm there who help you. "

" Thanks. " Yuno said.

Asta panted while smiling.

" I win. " Asta said as he fell to the ground unable to move.

Elden had a huge smile on his face as he watched this fight.

This was the fight he should have gotten at the end of the tournament but he never got it and so many others did as well.

Heck. Asta and Yuno never actually fought in a fight before. So he just exploded with joy over watching this fight.

The audience was just in shock at the battle and the ending of said battle. However, there was still a battle being done as both Asta and Yuno's teammates fought against each other.

Elden watched the fight but with less interest before Zora managed to break the other team's crystal.

Asta's team had won the match.

Elden soon left and went back to the Diamond kingdom after saying goodbye to Julius.

' The royal knight's selection arc is now over. Next is the Elven arc. Luckily I and Julius already planned most of the stuff out.

For now, I should go relax. '

Elden thought as he entered his house. He looked to see Fox sitting there reading a book in her home clothes.

" So how was the exam? " Fox asked.

" Fun actually at some parts. But I feel like sleeping now. " Elden said.

Fox nodded as she sat up straight. Elden fell asleep on her thick soft thighs while she played with his hair and read her book.
