GEORDI'S POV
The feeling of cold wind brushing against my face was calming, yet freezing. The sound of doors opening and closing was the sound I got used to as I worked part time at a coffee shop just across my apartment.
Growing up, I never really had the guts to ask my parents what I want. I always worked hard for it, to make it more fulfilling to receive. And now that my parents are resting in peace, I really can't say I can ask them to give me what I want.
As a kid, my parents always taught me that discipline and kindness will get me through anything, especially when I became an adult.
But... Then I thought,
Can discipline and kindness save Nathann? He's literally fighting against flowers, one thing that he really likes, but never got 'cause it never fit his aesthetic, as he would say.
"You're in a deep thought, huh?" I jumped at the sudden voice in front of me,
"One iced mocha, please. And get my favorite cake too." Fredrick ordered while staring at me.
I gave him a confused look but he just smiled before going to his seat, leaving me confused but I just shook it off as him being weird, as he always was.
"Did you figure out who Nathann likes?" He asked as soon as I gave him his order, motioning me to accompany him,
"I still don't know... But I hope I do soon. I wanna help him recover." He smiled,
"I really want a friend like you, Geor. A friend who's ready to do anything for a friend." I grinned, surprisingly this was the first time I smiled ever since the Hanahaki incident on Nathann,
"I can be both your friend and your boyfriend, Fred. Don't worry." He held my hand and smiled sincerely, clasping them,
"Please be strong, not only for Nathann, but also for me. I don't want to see you hurt and sad okay? Neither does your best friend want that."
