"Extra bags?"
When he heard his cousin's words, Chu Chen instinctively wanted to say no. He usually didn't carry a bag when he went out.
But before he could speak, he suddenly remembered the pile of dark green bags the bank manager had given him earlier.
"Yes, I'll bring them up in a bit."
Chu Chen agreed, asked what floor his cousin was on, and then hung up the phone.
Getting out of the car, he opened the trunk. Looking at the pile of dark green bags, he realized it would be difficult to carry them all.
So, Chu Chen opened one bag and stuffed all the other bags into it, which made it much more convenient.
"These bags should be enough."
He muttered as he walked toward the company.
Inside the company, after Chu Danyun finished her phone call, a few gossiping female colleagues curiously asked her,
"Danyun, do you have a boyfriend?"
"Little Chen, what an endearing way to call him. Is this the legendary older woman-younger man romance?"
