Chapter 20: A message from above

Jonathan's P.O.V

We camped her for days as Tanya gave me reports of what's been going on with the forest and we we're going to have a full scale attack tomorrow as I layed down with Raph by my side and we slept.

I woke up in a weird place where its pure white.

"I'm glad to meet you, John." A voice called out and I looked everywhere for the voice.

"Who are you?" I asked the disembodied voice

"Oh sorry." it apologize as the world around me changes into a room as I saw a bunk bed, an amp with a guitar and a towel hanger. A door in front of the bunk bed then opens as I look to see a 15 year old kid with a purple robe and a grenade like mug in his arms.

"Ah good to see you!" he said happily as he hugged me.

"Umm, who are you?" I asked him.

"I'm the one you call god!" He answered

"God is a 15 year old kid with posters of Undertale and a lot of gamer stuff?" I asked him

"Yeah pretty much but there is a whole lot of gods." He told me and I looked at him bewildered

"What do you mean?" I asked him

He then placed his mug on the table.

"Come, I'll show you." He said as he opened the door for me.

I walked in and saw a PC with something going on the screen across a dining table and we went to that PC. God the gestures to go ahead so I look at the PC and saw many stories in two sites.

"What the hell is this?"

"Their stories."

"Their?"

"Well you see there are other gods than me who write better stories and better punctuation than me."

"And that?" I pointed at a face that only shows 'Y/n L/n'

"Oh that? That's just the viewers point of view."

"Viewers?" I asked

"You can't write a story if there's no readers."

"True but why bring me here?" I asked and he sighed.

"Well looks like you're going home, kiddo!" he said in excitement

"REALLY WHEN?!?" I asked in excitement

"After you defeat Satella!!" he said and I hugged him.

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, so much!!" I shouted in excitement

"But there's one problem..." He said

"What is it? I asked him

"You can't bring Raphtalia with you." as soon as he said that, I almost fell but he caught me.

"Woah, woah, easy there." He said as he took a chair and place me there.

"You can't!"

"I have to, it's the rules."

"FUCK THE RULES, I LOVE HER!!"

"I can't just break the rules ok?!" I then broke down to tears.

"I promised her..." I sobbed

"I know."

"Please just let her come with me and only her that's it!"

"I can't ." I then flew into a fit and threw punch the table as it breaks but repairs itself.

"I know you like to be Raphtalia but you know she's not real and doesn't belong to the real wo-"

"THAN DON'T SEND ME BACK!!" I shouted at him, he was shocked at first but kept his cool as he sat down with me.

"I was like you once." He told me and I looked at him

"Always thinking that humanity was against me too and that no other gods would be my friend and that I wouldn't have a life that I wished. But then I met some gods who comfort me on my dark days and I saw a bright of hope in humanity again because they actually care and for the first time ever someone has ever cared about me." he told me

"So you too?"

"Oh no, my parents aren't dead they're alive and so is my sisters. It's just that they never seemed to understand what I've been through even though they said they did but they don't know. They haven't the life I had to live and suffer." he said and I looked at him with shocked

"I'm sorry for shouting at you." I apologized

"Ahh no worries, its drama." He said

"But at least can you do a favour for me first before you send me back to the real world." I told him.

"I already know what you wished and your wish is my command." He told me.

"Thanks, god." I said

"Name's Luke." he told me.

"Well thanks, Luke." I was about to leave but he stopped me

"One more thing." he said and I looked at him.

"Satella is pure evil, you can't change her and she has the elder wand." he warned me

"So how am I supposed to beat her?" I asked

"Don't worry, she'll do something dumb." He smiled as I walked to the door and opened and woke up.
