"What are you doing here Christine?! I almost roll over the both of you!" She yelled. "This is no way to ride a motorcycle young man! On full speed? With my daughter right behind you! Haven't the society thought you nothing!"

"Mum!" I interrupted her cause I didn't like the way she was yelling at Elie.

"Quiet young lady!" She snapped at me, shooting me a dagger glare, that was enough to seal my mouth shut. I probably will never see the sun again. It might be an exaggeration but is close to that.

Elie looked at me then back at her holding surprise in his eyes, I was the only one who could see it, I bet all mum saw was that emotionless kid exchanging looks with me.

"I don't want to ever see you with my daughter." She said to Elie, it felt like an invisible punched on the chest to me and the way he held his breath made it similar.

"You can't take such decision for me." I tried to defend a speechless Elie.
