The Looser Part 1.

Jules liked Sophie very much, she was her best friend and her step sister at the same time. She just didn't understand that a girl with a background and talent like herself, how could always be 2. behind a half-orphaned, not-too-beautiful, sour chick like Sophie. Although she had rich parents, they didn't care much for her, especially Daniel, Jules 'father. In contrast, Sophie was raised by a single parent , but always radiated a lot of love. Jules was born into a fashion dictator family, yet she had a lousy taste compared to Sophie. Let's not even talk about Midas' hand….

At first she only used her knowledge to her own bank account, then she moved into her home and stole a little from Sophie's father's love… Andrew was a man full of heart, why not get him out of that unfocused love too? Sophie never got annoyed, or angry, nothing bothered her… not even Jules hugging her "daddy," as she called him, as if she cared nothing about the world.

There was nothing left but Patrick. The future was already planned for her, and Sophie hated to deviate from her plans… she didn't want to do much harm, she just wanted to broke her sister's mask…

„Jules! Look at this!"

Veronica, handed her phone over the two hazelnut iced coffee on the terrace of the downtown cafe.

„What… this looser really won the lottery?"

She rolled her eyes as she looked at the phone.

„What a luck Sophie has! The 7 years she survived with this homeless are finally paying off!"

The red-haired, freckled girl laughed.

„ Ha… really… lucky. „

Jules grinned wryly.

"She'll be over the moon and back, if she finds out, she could even come home, since Patrick has money, she'll never have to work… she's suffering unnecessarily with the foreign school!"

The tattering girl waved, then sipped big with her straw.

„Yes, she could come home … what ?!"

The blonde realized.

'Like hell, she can come home! I'm not even close to putting a wedge between them!'

She thought to herself.

„Veronica! Let's keep this a secret from Sophie."

„ Why?"

"Like you said, she would come home, but she worked so hard to get to this training ... and what a surprise she would be if she came back anyway!" And then it's better to be a smart college millionaire, than to be an 'I've been learned in high school for years until my nosebleed, but I didn't expect the paper anymore' millionaire, right?"

„My God, you're right! I'll write it out in the groupchat!"

The girls and Patrick's friends were part of a large group where all sorts of sharing went. From this group, Jules quickly made a Sophie-free version wheres he could type the text she had just tought of.

„Jules!"

„Yes?"

She didn't look up from the text typing.

„You're such a good sister! Sophie is so lucky!"

Veronica shouted.

„You don't even know how much... „

She looked up after pressing the "Submit" button, with a half smile on her face.

Patrick always tried to maintain a good relationship with Sophie's family and friends. Everyone liked him because he was basically a normal boy and a very handsome kid. Because of his lousy financial and family background alone, he wasn't popular with the girls.

Jules usually gritted her teeth and smiled at him because she didn't approve of the connection at all. She knew full well that this incompetent looser, who was paying her family's rent with Sophie, would continue to parasitize her sister as a housewife in the future. In the eyes of a woman who plans her life by doing nothing on the side of a rich guy, it must have been a fatal mistake.

When Patrick suddenly became rich, however, that changed everything, as the only fault of the otherwise handsome guy turned into a huge advantage. So she could even get it for himself… but then she soon dismissed the idea, as the two young people were planning their future together, she couldn't nullify that love. Thus remained the original plan to release a serpent into Paradise…
