Eleven

All of the Akatsuki along with Naruto filed outside to an open field for the battle, the two opponents standing across from each other while the rest of the Akatsuki stood to the side to watch.

Naruto stared at Deidara, sporting a small smirk at him. Naruto felt adrenaline pulsing through his veins in anticipation of the fight. It's been a while since he could go all out against an opponent.

"Is their any rules?" He asked to the other members who stood to Narutos left a few yards away.

"We cant risk losing any members before we attack Konoha, so try not to kill each other.

The loser will be decided by whoever quits or is unable to continue first. If you, Naruto, win then you will be our newest member."

Naruto nodded, "fine by me," Naruto turns to Deidara, "but don't try and act tuff or I might just accidentally kill you."

Deidara scoffed, "I dont think you need to worry about hurting me, child."

Naruto smiled a genuine smile, it made him happy that he was underestimated. It only made it much more enjoyable to beat his opponent up.

Deidara seemed unfazed, I mean why should he? To him Narutos just a little kid and he was a powerful member of the most feared group of terrorist. But he wasnt dumb, if they we're seriously considering him as a new member he must have signifigant power, so he was on guard, just in case he actually was something spectacular.

Naruto looked over Deidara, analyzing his stance and how to take him down in the most efficient way.

When the fight officially began Naruto wasted no time and immediantly sprinted toward Deidara. It looked as if he had teleported, the only thing showing traces of his actions being the trail of dust leading toward Deidara.

Deidara had no time to react, he wasnt expecting such immence speed and therefore was unprepared when Naruto suddenly appeared in front of him.

He looked down to see the sharp edge of a kunai being help against his throat, flashing dangerously in the sunlight as it drew a small amount of blood.

"I would advise you throw in the towel now." Naruto said, an evil glint in his eye as if wishing for him to want to continue just so he could terrorize him further.

Deidara was beyond terrified, he wasnt expecting to lose to a child, much less in less than ten seconds. His whole body was screaming not to quit, that would be going against his whole image. But he pushed past that, he knew when he was outmatched in a battle, and usually he could somehow maneuver around that, but this was not one of those times.

"Say the words now because if we continue, you wont be able to speak again," Naruto warned him, looking into his eyes which showed fear and denial.

Deidara swallowed all of his pride and said, through gritted teeth, "I admit my defeat." His voice was strained, trying to put on a brave look, but that was useless since everyone could see his legs about to give out from under him.

Naruto frowned, "You're no fun you know? I would have been perfectly okay with us continuing our little play time." He said, seeming genuinely upset.

Deidara decided that he officially hated Naruto, he didnt even see him as a threat, just a little play thing and that seriously ticked him off.

"Well, I think its quite obvious that Naruto has won."

Naruto removed the kunia from Deidaras throat, leaving a small cut behind that would eventually scar over.

Naruto wiped the kunia onto Deidaras clothing, making eye contact while doing so, before walking away towards the rest of the members who still stood off to the side.

"It seems that the Akatsuki has just earned a very powerful new member. With you by our side we are sure to make Konoha fall. Welcome to the Akatsuki, Naruto."
