How My Saturday Was Spent

Chapter 11

I woke up to rapid knocking on my door, groaning I looked at my alarm clock, it was only 7:30.

"Adam, what do you want? It's 7:30, on a Saturday! GO AWAY!!"

The said person shouted back, "But I want to go shopping, come on! Get up!"

I groaned, "NO! LEAVE ME ALONE!!"

Adam sighed, "I'm coming in, Avery! You better not be naked!"

He opened the door, I threw a pillow at his head.

Adam grabbed it and hit me over the head with it, "Get up, Avery, or I'm going to beat you up with this pillow."

Getting up, I asked him, "Why do I have to come with you? Go shopping by yourself, ugghh."

"Because you need to dress more like a girl. You're going to come shopping with me dressed like the girl that you are. Now hurry up and move your butt!"

Walking out of my bedroom, I sighed and grumbling about Adam and how he was a pain in my butt. After eating breakfast, I brushed my teeth, then took a shower.

Adam glared, "Finally! Come on! Get your butt moving!"

Glaring back, I grumbled, "You're the one who wanted me to come with you."

Then he paused, looking at me in horror, "What are you wearing?"

Looking down at myself, I raised my eyebrows, "Um, I'm pretty sure I'm wearing clothes?"

Adam looked at me, disgusted, "No! Those are not clothes they are rags, and I told you, you are going to be dressed as a girl! I'm the boy this time!" Adam dragged me to his bedroom, throwing open his closet, he dug through it looking for something.

I stared at him, "What are you doing?"

Adam turned around suddenly, he grabbed my shirt and pulled it over my head, "Hey! Adam, what the heck?! Stop that!"

He grabbed my shorts and yanked them down, then he pulled the dress over my head.

Sliding my arms through the sleeve holes, I muttered to myself, "Do I have to wear this? It's so damn girly!. Ugh."

Adam glared, "Well, it's either this or short shorts and a crop top."

Sigh, I looked at my reflection, the dress was girly and pretty, it was a white dress, a few inches above my knee, in the front, there were pretty crisscrossing patterns, all the way down to the skirt, and the sleeves that are up to my elbow were flowy.

I looked at Adam, "No, I'm okay with this, thank you."

"Okay then. Let's go already!" Grabbing my arm Adam dragged me out of the apartment.

While at the mall, Adam dragged me to every store in the mall that had clothes and bags he liked, he also made me try a lot of clothes on.

Two hours later, we were at the food court and suddenly I spot William, I looked at him right when he was turning around, so we locked eyes, I waved. William waved back, heading over to our table.

He sat down, "Hey, mind if I sit here?"

Adam shrugged, Meh, I'm fine with it. Avery?"

I shrugged, "Sure."

William nodded, "Thanks, so are you, Avery or Adam, today?"

Blushing, I muttered, "I'm Avery today, as you can see." Gesturing down to myself.

He looked down at my body, scanning me from head to toe, my blush grew brighter.

William cracked a small smile, "Yeah, I can see that."

Wow, William's grin transformed his entire face, it was like the clouds parted from the sun.

I cleared my throat, "So, William why are you here today?"

William shrugged, "I had to do some shopping for my little sister, Lily."

Nodding, I unwrapped my food.

Adam had already eaten most of his food.

Wow, that was fast, "How do guys just inhale your food, seriously, how?"

He shrugged, "Maybe you're just slow. Also, I was right, you are skinny like a girl."

I shrugged, "Cause I am a girl, dude."

He nodded, "Hey, you guys want to just shop together? I have no idea what clothes to get her."

Raising my eyebrows, I asked, "You shop for your sister? I feel so bad for you."

He shrugged, "I don't really mind, she's grounded."

Adam looked at William, "What does she look like? What clothes does she usually prefer?"

William shrugged, "Erm, clothes?''

I grinned, laughing, "Dude, I love your answer, hahaha."

William blushed a little, "I don't know how to describe it."

Mr. Expert asked, "Skirts, crop-tops, shorts, jeans, dresses, t-shirts, what does she like?"

William thought for a second, "Skirts, shorts, jeans, dresses, and t-shirts. I think."

Shopping went on for a long, long time. After we said goodbye to William it was almost 7:30 PM.

We went home and ate dinner, by then it was 8:30, I was so tired I passed out on the couch without brushing my teeth.

And thus, ended my Saturday.
