Don't Be Suspicious

Chapter 34

Sigh, it was Monday, ugh. Mondays are the worst, especially since it is right after the break and your body just wants to flop back down into your bed but you drag it out zombie-style, grunting, and groaning.

Ugh, Mondays were made for torturing people, I sighed, dragging myself to the locker.

Adam was also grouchy this morning, he slept through his alarm clock twice, on the third time I had to wake him up because it was playing Katy Parry, Roar again for the third time, and let me tell you, waking Adam up was like waking up a demon, ugh.

I put my books into the locker, closing I went to my first-period class, Science.

Mark was already there, he was usually always early, I slid into my seat next to him, "Hey Mark, good morning."

He smiled, "Hey man, good morning. Yesterday was fun, wasn't it? I was thinking maybe we should all do it again sometime. What do you think?"

I smiled nodding, "Yep, it was super fun, I would love to do that again someday."

Mark grinned, "Great, hey Adam I forgot to ask when are you and Avery's birthday?"

I began to sweat, do I tell him my birthday or Adam's? "Uhhh, ou-" The bell rang, saving me from having to answer, for now.

Mr.Trent started talking about genetics and that is one of your parents had blue eyes and the other had green eyes, it wasn't [ossable for you to have brown eyes. I took notes as the class went on.

During the break I texted Adam:

Me: Adam, Mark asked me when our birthday was. What should I tell him?

Adam: Tell him your birthday, yours hasn't passed yet.

Me: Okay, wait, when was your birthday?

Adam: It was on August 1st.

Me: Oh, okay

Adam: K, the bell just rang, bye.

Me: See ya later.

Later that day, while I was walking to the Martial Arts Club someone grabbed my collar in the hallway, he yanked me around to face him, the guy was staring at me, he had a look in his eyes, I craned my face away from his, "Uhh, can I help you with something? Or can you let me go." His hand was gripping my shirt collar.

He stared at me, "I know you are a girl."

I stuttered, "W-what are you talking about? I'm a guy, not a girl, if I was a girl then I wouldn't be able to attend this school." I started sweating, did he have proof? Was he just messing with me? Who was he? Did I ever do anything to him?

He looked into my eyes, "Then why do you never change in the locker room? You always change in the bathroom. Why is your figure so much like a women's?"

I shook my head, "Who are you? Do I know you? And how did you know I changed in the bathroom?"

Oh, wait, I looked closer at his face, wait a minute, I thought back a few months, oh yeah, uhhh, what was his name again?

Hmm, then it hit me, Darius, yes, his name was Darius Walter or something, he visited the Martial Arts Club a few months ago, but didn't want to join.

Darius looked down at me, "I'm Darius Walter, we met a few months ago, I know because people talk about how weird it was that the Captain of the Martial Arts Club changes in the bathroom stalls."

People talk about me? Huh, that's new.

I asked, "It's not weird, I'm just shy."

Darius raised his eyebrows, "Prove it, prove you are a guy."

I pulled away from him, "Dude, what is your problem? Did I do something to you or what?"

Darius sighed, "You didn't do anything to me, I just want to prove you are a girl. All the facts point to it."

I shook my head, "You only have one thing that even remotely makes me look like a girl. The one about my body is just insulting."

Darius sighed, "Prove to me that you are a guy and I'll leave you alone."

I shook my head, "No way dude, you are crazy. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get to the Martial Arts Club." I pushed past him.

Darius called out, "I'll find more proof that you are a girl, just you wait."

I sighed, what if he really finds out I'm a girl? I need to tell Adam about this, ugh.

To be continued...
