Around a century or two, the first incident happened in Quing Quing city.
Back then, an extraordinary child was born who radiated light.
Soon after that, reports of people with superpowers popped up across the globe.
No one knew for sure what was causing these quirks, but some speculated they had somehow evolved from a virus.
(Yeah, weird and creepy coincidence in regards to this year)
Regardless, the world became a superhuman society.
With about eighty percent of the population possessing some uncanny ability.
The streets began to look like scenes from comic books.
With the cities filled with chaos and confusion, a new profession began to dominate the collective conscience.
It was an age of heroes.
And I was reborn into this world, while somehow remembering it not as a reality, but as literally a work of fiction.
I knew about the tale of a boy without a quirk to aid him to fulfill his dream of inspiring hope and altruism to everyone.
I remember seeing his fateful encounter with the world's symbol of peace and current number one hero, who then proceeded to become his teacher.
I saw his journey to master the power he gained from his teacher, and saw the villains scheming from the shadows.
But now, thanks to me...
The plot has been affected.
Not only did I alter the fate of the supposed protagonist of this story, but did so to many others.
I know that war is on the horizon, in fact, I'm counting on it.
My power continues to grow at ludicrous speed, but I'm also expecting a proportional push back from this world.
I'm not the only active agent in this chessboard, different players are beginning to notice that my presence is causing large shifts to the game, while some pawns are kept oblivious to the grand scheme of things.
But all in all, I'm glad to be having so much fun.
———————————————————
At night, U.A main building.
In the School Staff's Meeting Room.
"Our investigators are trying to learn everything they can about the so-called league of villains." Said the police detective known as Naomasa Tsukauchi. "We've made some progress, but can't find anything on Shigaraki so far. We've searched our records for men in their twenties or thirties who were registered as having any sort of disintegration quirk, but so far we've come up empty. The same for the warp gate villain, Kurogiri." The detective finished his report and turned to the seated heroes. "So they are not citizens or are they using aliases, hard to find either way."
Vlad lowered his head while having his arms crossed and said. "So what you are really saying is that we don't know anything."
With his mask filtering his voice, Snipe suggested. "We've gotta track them down. I shot their ringleader, but once he heals up, he will try pulling something like this again... what a pain." He grunted at the end of his speech.
Eraser just stood there, thinking about what he remembered from the attack.
"Is something in your mind, Eraserhead?" Asked the principal to him, obviously noticing his posture of deep thinking.
"The attack on the U.S.J was too bold. No sane adult would ever attempt it. The ringleader kept monologuing about the reasons he was there and talking about Nomus' many quirks. He never said a word about his own powers and when things didn't go his way he became visibly upset, like as if he was gonna throw a tantrum." Aizawa sighed. "I guess bragging about his strong minions' quirks were a way of intimidating us, but it just backfired seeing how Monoma managed to copy at least one of theirs quirks."
"That's true, it was strategically foolish to reveal their quirks up front instead of keeping them a secret." Principal Nezu reasoned. "But fortune to us."
"Shigaraki made wild immature claims, but did so with a completely straight face from what I've heard. You told me he talked about the Nomus like they were some sort of pets. It seems like he never was told no before, like he thought that things would go his way no matter what." All Might joined in the conversation, recollecting everything he heard and raising his hands to massage his temples. "He has the personality of a spoiled little brat, a man-child."
"A child with incredible power though." Added Vlad.
"It's possible he never got the quirk counseling that students receive at elementary school." Suggested Midnight.
"Maybe so, but it doesn't really matter now." Concluded Snipe.
Drawing attention from everyone, the detective spoke again while reading his notes. "There were seventy-three villains residing in the aftermath of the U.S.J attack. They were mostly small-time thugs that usually lurked on back alleys." He raised his head and said. "What worries me, is that man-child got them all to follow his crazy plan. They viewed him as a real leader. Criminals are starting to feel more pressured now that the world is brimming with heroes. It could be why they were so quick to back such simple minded villainy."
"Guess that makes sense." Said Vlad.
"There are plenty of people looking for a cause to get behind." Remarked Snipe.
"So what can we do to stop them?" Asked Midnight seriously.
The detective took the opportunity to talk again. "Well, it is thanks to you heroes that we have the time to devote ourselves to this case." He looked at everyone seated. "We will expand our investigation and continue searching for the perpetrators of this attack."
"A man child, huh." Reflected principal Nezu. "In some ways he shares common ground with our heroic student. They both have so much potential. Although in stark contrast to our particular student, I suppose it's possible that someone is guiding and nurturing his malice and villainy." He said looking at All Might in the eyes.
The number one hero looked away flinching. "I don't even want to consider that awful possibility."
———————————————————
After my "unforeseen battle", the media just couldn't resist my humble contribution to their work.
Man, I need to give kudos to Manami, she clearly went beyond editing the content I sent to her.
I found myself cheering for me while watching my fights, even though I knew I had everything under control.
Acting might be one of my most important skills, it seems.
But I better make sure that Danjuro won't get jealous, perhaps I should include him for my plans with Stain.
Hopefully, with my undeniable popularity, my vagrant cousin will choose to approach me eventually.
Currently, not even days after that incident, I find it really hard to walk through the streets without seeing my heroic image being broadcasted all around in LED displays and printed in the newspaper's front pages.
As if to prove my point, the LED display in a building close by that was broadcasting the news, was beginning to talk about that.
"Up next, an update on yesterday's incident at U.A rescue training center, where the hero course students were attacked by a gang of villains."
"According to new police officials, criminal forces called themselves "The league of villains"."
"Investigators had reportedly uncovered that this group had been plotting to kill U.A teacher and popular hero All Might, since the spring of this year."
"Police arrested seventy-three villains, but the league's leader escaped."
"A recent video, anonymously uploaded to the internet, showed footage of the incident."
"Despite being greatly outnumbered, the small group of students and teachers were more than capable of fending off the villains attack."
"Social media had been very impressed in regards to the performance of the hero course's students."
"The case in particular that brought a massive flux of speculation and discussion is the fifteen years old student, Monoma Neito."
"Monoma is shown to be a calm, intelligent and powerful young man."
"He doesn't seem to feel at all threatened or intimidated by the danger, especially after being authorized by U.A's teachers to join the first line of defense against the large group of villains."
"The most important aspect of this youth performance was his displayed abilities."
"He shows capable of using a vast number of quirks that are clearly unrelated to each other."
"After some investigations, it was discovered that this student's quirk allows him to copy and enhance the quirks of other individuals."
"It's shown that the group of villains weren't expecting this, as seen when Mr. Monoma copied one of the league's quirk, responsible for transporting the whole group of villains inside the rescue training center, and proceeded to send his fellow classmates to a more secure area."
"The news doesn't stop there, it has been speculated that the youth's physical prowess was due to him coping All Might's quirk."
"What an incredible idea, one might think."
"But even further investigation had found evidence of Mr. Monoma's proximity with the symbol of peace himself during the event that was known as "The cleansing of Dagoba's municipal beach park"."
"Almost a year ago, All Might and Monoma Neito were spotted doing the very heroic act that isn't as common as it used to be, and received the large support from the public."
"Even before that, the two of them were spotted together in the incident regarding a sludge criminal holding hostage."
"The young student's bravery back then was just as strong as his regard for the law, proven by how he faced the villain while refraining to use his quirk without having legal permission."
"Trending at number one spot is the question: Will Neito succeed All Might's legacy?"
"The world is watching closely to find out the answer."
'My, my, what is a boy to do with all that attention.' I grin before becoming invisible among the crowd, deciding to avoid speaking publicly before I settle things with U.A.
Don't want to make them suspicious of me, for all everyone knows, it was a mysterious third party that leaked the U.S.J's footage.
Okay, the media was already following my plan.
Now, let me see how the internet reacts.
I enlarged my communication device and browsed through the social media's trends and forums.
To my relief, the majority of comments were positive, with some of them even seeming to idolize me.
But of course, one cannot make a thousand friends, without having some enemies.
Some speculated that I might be too young to maturely use such incredible powers.
However, I was already satisfied with the positive feedback.
Some threads formed, and speculated about my quirk and coming up with possible weaknesses and limitations that were actually funny to read, gotta recognize their creativity.
Though I ought to pay more attention regarding those minor details that regular people might begin to notice.
Also, I can't believe that I already had fangirls and fanboys cheering for me.
Some of them were people I had already met before all this "hero stuff".
The girls I dated were pretty insistent in trying to get my attention. But I few polite excuses, about being too busy with everything that was happening, were enough to calm them down.
For now at least.
The thing that I was least expecting was hearing compliments from my parents.
They basically praised me for our whole conversations. But some warnings for me to be careful and cautious were obviously not uncommon.
I was already expecting that they would come visit soon, and the Sports festival was a perfect opportunity for them to work while visiting me.
Good to see that we share this preference for win-win scenarios.
For now, I had the day off, school is closed today.
Me and the boys had decided to go to the arcade and had some fun.
I wanted to get my revenge against Mezou.
That octopus bastard was downright cheating last time we competed.
Besides, I wanted to introduce Izuku to the group.
Without Katsuki, I think he forgets to constantly downplay himself.
Also, he told me he already had a girlfriend.
But she wasn't someone I knew from the original story.
Who would've thought that this time, the boy couldn't even speak to a girl, and was already dating.
Guess me keeping Bakugou in his place whenever I could, was more beneficial to him than I was expecting.
———————————————————
Next day.
"You guys, did you watch the news last night?" Asked Toru with her usual excited tone.
After some nods from Inasa and Mezu, she continued. "It was so cool that everyone got some minutes of screen time." But she then sighed. "Sadly I wasn't so fortunate, I just ran and hid, and eventually got in Thirteen's way."
Mezu wasn't one for subtlety, so he promptly agreed. "Probably."
But Inasa wasn't like him.
"No way, I'm sure you were amazing! But It's in your quirk's nature to blend in, that's still amazing. I just kept hearing how over the top I was from people I didn't even know, which I don't mind because it's just my quirk's nature!" He tried to cheer her up.
Around the class, other students decided to join in.
"We're famous now! The news and the internet loves us! Guess the fame and glory came earlier than I expected." Said Shihai while laying over his seat with crossed arms behind his head.
"I guess you are right. Crazy isn't it?" Asked Kirishima.
"Get over yourselves, the star of the media was obviously our class rep." Remarked Jirou dismissively.
"And if he weren't there, we might've ended up as dead meat." Said Awase grimly while lying over his desk.
"I-I prefer to not think about that... please." Said Kinoko, a little apprehensive. "But I guess you guys are right, Monoma did make a big difference."
"Ah, shut up! Stop sucking his dick you losers!" Shouted Katsuki angrily.
"Did you guys see him fighting those monsters? They were super strong but he took them both at the same time! That was so manly!" Said Kirishima while punching the air.
"Yes, his power is truly a thing of wonder." Agreed Tokoyami.
As the class was about to begin, the last remaining student arrived. "Sorry for being late everyone, glad you are all sitting."
The class began to cheer him on while Bakugo tried his best to ignore their idiocy and Iida gave him his strict, yet friendly, look.
Neito walked between the row of students with an embarrassed smile, and took his place. "Sorry guys, I completely lost track of time."
"Don't sweat it!" Said Ochako reassuringly while touching his shoulder, Reiko just nodded shyly.
"So Monoma, how has fame been to you?" Asked Momo, trying to join their conversation.
"Fortunately, everyone who contacted me had been kind and really considerate. I'm glad I didn't go overboard with my attacks, didn't want to be labeled negatively so early in my career." He answered with a genuine smile.
"Morning class!" Stated Aizawa to everyone else as he entered the class.
"Morning teacher!" The class answered back.
"Glad everyone is well, even those that had to recover." Aizawa turned to see if Toru was all right, knowing that her injuries were the school's responsibilities. "Now that you've calmed down, I've come to talk about your fight."
The word "fight" caught everyone's attention.
"The U.A sports festival is about to start!" Aizawa announced with his usual deadpan expression.
The previous confusion and anxiety gave way to excitement and joy among the students.
Shihai and Kirishima fist bumped each other.
But not everyone was immediately sure if that was a good idea.
"Wait a second!" Said Awase followed by Kyoka questioning. "Is it really such a good idea to hold the Sports Festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?"
Kendo joined in worried for her friends. "Won't we all be gathered and exposed?"
"Apparently the administration thinks this is a good way to show that you've all grown stronger despite the shock. And that we are confident that our school is safer than ever." The teacher said tiredly. "They'll be beefing up security compared to previous years." He corrected his posture and continued. "This event is a huge opportunity for all students in the U.A. It's not something we can cancel because of a few villains."
"Know that, but... I don't really... feel like they won't try anything during the Festival." Said Kinoko apprehensively.
"Don't worry, we will stay together!" Shouted Inasa with confidence and hit his chest.
"Our Sports Festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world. In the past, everyone obsessed over the Olympic Games, but then quirks started to appear." Aizawa began info dumping to us. "The Olympics had been drastically reduced in scale and viewership. For anyone who cares about competition, there's only one tournament that matters. U.A Sports Festival."
"That's right, the top heroes from everywhere will be watching. Especially after recent events. This is the perfect chance to get scouted." Said Momo with determination while clenching her raised fist.
"I understand." Nodded Kinoko a little less afraid but a little more worried.
"Yeah, it's only natural that after graduating the best heroes can choose to join pro agencies as sidekicks." Shihai added while picturing which agency he wanted to be accepted into.
"Yeah, but that's as far as some people go. Most lose their chance to go indie and stay sidekick for the rest of their careers." Kyoka said before turning to Shihai. "Actually, that's probably where you're going to stay. You're not that popular from what I read only." She teased him.
"Haha! Very funny! Let's see how you fair buddy. At least I wasn't locked in a trio to become actually useful." He answered her with a little burn, which was enough to bother Ms. earplug.
'C'mon guys, why are you all just speaking these things like the rest of us didn't know about it?... oh!... is it because not everyone knows? Weird, considering the world we live in.' Neito thought while keeping his natural expression.
"It's true that joining a famous hero agency can grant you experience and popularity." Aizawa continued Neito's boredom. "That's why the Festival matters. If you wanna go pro someday, then this is event can open a path for you." At his words, even Bakugo began to brighten up. "One chance a year, three chances in a lifetime, no aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival. That means you better not slack off on your training."
"Yes sir!" The students said.
"Class is dismissed." Aizawa stated and moved to leave.
'Geez, I knew I should've just skipped this one.' Neito thought.
———————————————————
After Cementoss' Modern literature class, they had a break to rest.
"That villain stuff sucks, sure... but I'm pumped for these games!" Announced Kirishima enthusiastically.
"Yeah! I love the chance to prove myself! I'm absolutely gonna shoot for the top!" Added Inasa cracking his knuckles' joints.
Mezu and Kirishima looked at each other and then at me.
I laughed in a friendly manner at their antics. 'Inasa, you better never change man!' But then I became serious. "I agree with Inasa! Those that reached the top are only there because they dared to and surpassed all hardships."
"I agree as well. We've got so few chances, we have to make the most out of them." Nodded Fumikage, perched up above his own desk.
"Oh man, Monoma! I'm getting so nervous about the festival. You gotta help me with a way to get noticed." Toru said while hugging my arm.
I stared at her for a few brief instants, and for some reason she backed away immediately, but I decided to just tease her for now. "Sure, you can count on me." I said and winked casually.
It seems she was the only one to have noticed my stare, so eventually she laughed it off.
"But I'm glad everyone is excited." I said to everyone close.
"Well yeah, of course we are! We enlisted in this school with the sole aim to become heroes." Announced Iida doing his best robot impression despite feeling quite the opposite. "So it's natural we are all getting fired up."
"Wow Iida! Those are some interesting moves." Tsu said with Kinoko nodding besides her.
"Neito!" Said Ochako out of nowhere.
'Huh? Don't tell me...'
"Let's give our best!" She said with the cutest/serious face she could muster.
"That has always been my intention." I replied smiling.
This earned a few gasps and sights from the group around, but they better be counting that I won't underestimate them.
Uraraka's sudden change of mood also earned some gossip among the boys, but Tsu intervened before they went too far.
Ochako stomped the ground and raised her right arm while keeping that funny face. "Everyone, I'm gonna do my best!"
Before she embarrassed herself even more I intervened.
"Heh! I'm glad you feel that way Infinity girl! Would you be interested if we train together? I think I've got some notes from using your quirk, what do you say?" I asked her, completely calming the beast inside her.
At my suggestion, some others decided to ask if they could join me.
"Eh... Neito... I think I've learned a few new formulas to create... would you mind testing them with me? I would really welcome your help." Said Momo.
I just smiled and nodded. 'Man, I need to find a way of cracking Principal Nezu's quirk, with it I might eventually even be able to create life.'
"Yikes... Anyway, you have an advantage over us Shoji." Shihai sighed to us before turning to his own group. "People are bound to notice your unique quirk."
Shoji snickered and replied. "Look who's talking. Besides, what matters is that we show how useful we can be with them."
"Oh, you are right!" Shihai caught his meaning. "I'm so sorry Jirou." He provoked her again.
"Grrr. I will show you how useful I am." She said a little annoyed.
"I guess it's my chance to spread the gospel to a larger audience. I can see that Mother Nature will favor me during this mission." Announced Ibara while bringing her hands together in a praying gesture.
Kendo was caught off guard when her friend turned to her expecting approval, but she managed to indulge her. "Sure... I'm confident you will give your best wholeheartedly."
After that, I made our way towards the cafeteria, and to my surprise I had managed to invite four girls to eat lunch with me.
Ochako, Momo, Yui and Reiko.
I'm a lucky dog, am I not?
The first two were the most vocal, but I made sure to include the others to the conversation from time to time.
I've asked Ochako why she wanted to be a hero, and she honestly gave her motives.
Her backstory is actually cute in my opinion, then again, I find basically anything regarding her as cute.
Momo sympathized a lot with her, not because of the money, but because she also wanted to honor her family.
From what I could manage to make Yui tell us, she was a curious case of someone who just found herself made for the hero work.
Since her elementary days, she had great interest in the hero philosophies and grand admiration for the hero's work.
She was what I could describe as a cool nerd.
High grades, beautiful and had an amazing quirk.
If I'm not mistaken, from what I read in my previous life, the boys from her school formed a fan club for her... but she never really noticed.
(a moment of silence for the simps)
*sights, I think some seconds are enough already.
"And you Yanagi? If you don't mind me asking, what drives you to become a heroine?" I asked after complimenting Yui's summarized reasons and receiving a "Mn" from her.
"Fra-Frankly... I just ought to perpetrate something meaningful, something that would make me certain that I didn't squander my life." She said with her exotic form of speaking, but as soon as she finished she lowered her head in shyness.
Ochako was the first to hug her and cheered her up, followed by Momo and Yui.
But as the three turned to look at me, I picked up my best caring expression and tone to voice my thoughts. "You all are so amazing and very grounded in real life, I'm afraid I'm not as noble or as genuine as you too." I dramatically began to stare at my hand before slowly clenching it. "If I were to be honest, I'm only doing what I'm doing because I fear that I'm the only one capable of. That my gift is a blessing as much as it is a curse. You see, with great powers I understand that there must come great responsibilities." Looking through the hallway windows I ended my melodramatic speech.
Although I'm not turning my head to watch their reactions, I'm a little worried if they bought my act at all.
My doubts soon vanished as I found myself being hugged by the quartet.
'Man, and that was me improvising, I suck at improvisation. But I guess I'm cheating with the looks and persuasive acting skills against three fifteen years old students.' I thought while enjoying being fondled and receiving friendly praises.
But as all good things are bound to last short, we were interrupted by a familiar laughter through the corridors.
"Hahahaha! Young Monoma... IS here!" All Might appeared wearing his formal clothes and was now pointing towards me.
"Hey All Might! It's everything alright? How can I help you?" I asked, perfectly masking my annoyance at his interruption. 'Can't believe I forgot he would appear.' I mentally facepalmed myself.
"Lunch..." He showed his lunch bag. "You want to eat with me?"
That made Uraraka break into laughter, while I heard the other girls giggling.
"What do you say?" He asked, obviously telling me that he had something important to say to me.
"Yeah, absolutely! I forgot that I also wanted to speak with you about something." I turned to the girls. "I know we agreed to eat together..."
Before they were able to say that it was alright, I opened my mouth and produced a stream of ectoplasm from it that transformed itself into a perfect clone of me.
"So let's go then." My clone said casually to them.
My original form turned to All Might and said enthusiastically. "Let's go sensei!"
Both versions of me ignored the shocked expressions from the others, soon they would recover, remembering that I was unpredictable just like that.
———————————————————
While my clone was enjoying his time with the girls, I followed All Might to his office.
You might be wondering, why would I send a clone to go with the girls instead of making him listen to what All Might had to say?
Well, I remembered the bro code.
Bros before hoes.
I mean it with all due respect to the girls.
Besides, Ectoplasm's quirk serves just like shadow clones do in naruto.
Once I dismiss him, I will receive all of his memories.
For now, I ordered him to bait Todoroki to challenge me for the festival, just in case he needed more incentive besides the viral video of me fighting two Nomus at the same time.
Back to All Might.
"Wait, your time has reduced? I mean, is it somehow normal?" I asked genuinely surprised. 'I saved Aizawa from being molested by Nomus, but are you saying that All Might's time had dropped regardless? What gives?!"
"Yeah, I can use my power for at least twenty five minutes now." He said while preparing our tea. "I guess it's because I've passed it up to someone who's capable of using it just as well as me." He smiled at me, trying to show that he wasn't angry. "At this point, I can barely look like All Might for an hour and a half."
I smiled back at him. "I think I have some kind of solution, or at least, a way of mitigating this." I offered him my hand as if I wanted to shake his hand. "Please, give me your hand."
All Might looked at me a little uncertain, but decided to trust in me, again.
Don't misunderstand my action, but I kissed the back of his hand, picturing a soothing feeling from after finishing my entrance exam and amped this feeling with OFA.
"Argh! What are you... wait. My pain, it's lowering!" All Might said after he began to glow a little.
I was expecting success at my first try, but I was expecting it to reach this level.
From his "true form", due to him sustaining permanent damage from All For One, where he looked very skinny with sharp angular features and long limbs.
The pro hero now looked much more healthier, to the point of gaining some of his comeliness back.
Of course, he was still around his fifties, but the man was a natural charmer.
"This... You..." All Might looked at his healthier hands and then ripped open his shirt, only to find his chest and belly completely healed as well. "Youn... YOUNG MONOMA! YOU ARE TRULY AMAZING!" He turned to his hero form and rushed to hug me. "I can't even believe that you actually exist!"
Gotta say, I hate sentimental stuff, but his joy and gratitude towards me, put every acting move I had to shame.
Annoyingly, my vision blurred for a while due to my eye sweat, but it got back to normal after I wiped it off with my sleeves.
"I'm not sure if I've solved your problem with using your powers, but I'm confident that you can look like this for larger periods of time. And if not, I'm hoping that the pain has disappeared at least." I said while being hugged by this massive guy.
You know, he reminds me of my grandfather, from my previous life.
I don't know why I can't remember his name or face, but I'm confident that he is just like All Might in spirit.
"Yeah, the constant agonizing pain has vanished." He said, not caring if the others possible benefits were also accomplished.
After we both wiped away our eye sweat, we returned to our conversation.
A more jovial All Might in his regular form finished his task. "Here, have some tea."
"Thanks." I said politely.
"I initially brought you here to talk about the festival. I was about to comment on your original quirk's use as well, especially after seeing you replicating ectoplasm technique so easily, but man I wasn't prepared to see what you are able to accomplish with recovery girl's quirk." Toshinori said to me. "That also brings us back to your excellent handling of One for All. I saw the footage, just like the rest of the world. And I gotta say, you've made more that left a good impression."
"I'm glad that such an unexpected event turned out to be beneficial to me. Honestly, I'm relieved that I didn't decide to kill those Nomus right away. They were annoyingly hard to capture, but I reasoned that there might be something left of a human in them." I said while covering my tracks regarding the leaked footage.
"I see your logic, but unfortunately I received no such information from the scientists and policemen. They appear to have been through lobotomy or something like that." He told me.
"I see, worth the try at least." I replied and received a nod from Toshinori.
"Back to what I wanted to tell you. To be frank, if my time limit keeps dropping as it was, I won't have much time left as the symbol of peace. Soon I will have to put that title to bed." Toshinori rose from his coach and walked to observe the outside from his window. His formal clothes are now fitting his frame much better this time.
"I understand." I said.
"Some villains out there have been noticed for a while now. I need you to step up if I'm not capable of keeping the people safe anymore." The teacher said seriously. "I gave you my power for this precise reason." He clenched his fists. "For you to be the hero that takes my place."
He then approached me. "Now that you have all of that power, do you feel the same as you felt back when we first met? Do you still want to be a hero?"
"Yes, I want to be the world's greatest hero and the symbol of peace that it needs and deserves." I said without skipping a beat.
"Excellent. Now it's your time to prove it! Officially this time." He responded. "This Sports Festival is something that the country... no, that the entire world will be watching very closely. I want you to think of the sports festival as your debut. You are the fletching symbol of peace. The next All Might." He stared into my eyes. "Neito Monoma, I want you to introduce yourself to the world and proudly say: I AM HERE!"
"Yes sensei!" I shouted confidently. 'Geez, how many more times do I have to debut myself to the world? I'm afraid that they might eventually get bored of me. Heh.'
