CHAPTER 37

A young lady was climbing the staircases up to the small living room with a small tray in her hand and wearing a maid uniform, she was one of the maids at Somia's uncle's friend house. The man was in the living room, sitting on the chair and watching television.

The living room was a main room upstairs and that was where he always uses to stay to rest or work if he didn't go to company. The maid entered the room, she greeted the man with respect and put the tray down on the small stool at the front of the man with a cup of tea inside the tray.

"Well done Sir!" She said with low voice as she raised up and living the room. The man took the cup with the flat plate under it and drank a zip, put the cup inside the flat plate and putting it on his hand, continued watching the movie.

He was zipping the tea, stretched his legs on the table and watching the movie when his phone started ringing on the table. He put the tea cup down on the stool and quickly picked his phone on the table.

"Hello my boy! Calling! Hope everything have solved" he said as he picked the call and it was the man at the customer's office.

"Good morning Sir! I am calling to tell you that your cars and other goods has been solved and released so send your guys to come and pack them from our office!" He said.

"Are you serious! So your boss has later surrendered thought he is still asking for tariff and other documents!" The man said.

"You didn't see it in the news! He is dead and that was on Saturday evening, now I am in position now so that is why I have quickly cleared you out!"

"What did you just said, your boss is dead?" Asked with surprised on his face.

"Yes! He had an accident or even said it was a suicide, he jumped into the sea with his car and before they could saved him out, he had give up to the ghost!" He explained.

"Oh! So he committed suicide. I didn't hear anything but still thank God for that, I will send my guys to come and pack them now and thank you very much. Now there won't be any problem again just be exporting in freely" the man laughed loudly and the guy too laughed.

"You see now! Bring the necessary documents, I didn't use to collect this and that! Where is him now!" Continued laughing.

"I am happy to hear this! Let call my boys now"

"Okay Sir!" The man hanged up and stood up with his phone in his hand.

"He had an accident even said it's a suicide! That mean he has problem that he is facing before, let me call my friend before started going to work!" He said and making a call.

"Hello my friend!" Yusufar's father said and he was at the hut outside eating there and watching news when Yusufar was going there, he stopped walking as he heard him receiving a call and looking at him from far distance.

"I just recieved a call from my guy at the customer's office now and said that my cars and goods had been cleared also said that that his boss had died"

"Wow! That is lucky for you, I have saw it in the news"

"That guy said so but I am surprised so that man had the problem that he is facing before and which made him to commit a suicide because the guy said that he jumped into the sea with his car, so terrible!" Said with low voice.

"Huu! That is the work of my boys and that is the trick SUICIDE but for me and my boys nothing like that!" He said with smile.

"Wait! Are you telling me that it's your boss that did it not that it's him that intentionally had an accident or not that he committed any suicide!" Said and didn't believe it.

"You are talking too much! I or my boys didn't have hand in it just help with the incident. I will send the video to you now"

"Wow! You are bad man, I am happy sha!" The man laughed.

"Did father killed someone! Which video is that?" Yusufar said and looking at his father.

"Hope you won't have any problem again now? Also stop smuggling goods into the country" advised him.

"Look my friend! Now I have you and the customer's officer nothing to worry about again, I can't be paying tariff and also paying company tax. Let us be doing it like this!"

"I don't think I will help you again oh!" Said with smile.

"I trust you now! Let me quickly call my guys to go and pack my goods and the cars so that we can put them for sell"

"Okay! I will send the video now!" Said and hanged up from the call, he put the phone down and continued watching news.

"There are many things going on in this house! Maybe that is why mother doesn't want me to come home! I must know what exactly is going on!" Yusufar looked at his father, turned back and leaving the hut didn't allowed his father to see him.

At MMO company. All the staffs had been busy since morning that they didn't even know that time had gone, there uses to be that sometimes that the company would just busy and nobody would have time for each other.

Sound of the door opened and closed. Funbi entered her office, dropped the file in hand on the table with anger and she had stressful. She took a small ceramic cup and went to the coffee maker at a corner in her office, she on it and poured coffee inside it that it full it and off the coffee maker.

She drank a little from the coffee and going to her seat, she sat down on the chair and took her phone on the table, dialing a mobile number and it was Iqmat that she was calling.

"Hello my baby girl!" Iqmat said, laying on the bed and pressing her laptop and with a small chops beside her.

"I have been busy since morning if not I will have call you! Ashar abused me!" Said with loud voice and with anger.

"Ashar abused you what happened between you and him?"

"Because I gave that girl Somia a transferred letter to another department, he came to me and abused me that I want to turn myself to a fighting angel for you. That I should be careful and talk some other things to me because of that girl!"

"Calm down Funbi! You should haven't done that, we have solved everything and I am fine now!"

"Fine with what? If there is nothing between him and that girl why did he have to get angry because I transferred her and he abused me because of her!"

"I am sorry Funbi! If it's that abused that you are angry on I am sorry on his behave. Just let that girl Somia be and don't think of transferring or to do anything I know what to do. He has choose her as his PA let her be nothing concern her about all this, it's Ashar I have business with" Iqmat said.

"Just don't take it with easy hand or just looking because it's obvious that he likes Somia, if you see the look on his face and the way he is talking to me because of that girl!"

"It's okay Funbi, just forget about it Okay!" Said with low voice.

"I will because of you but I will deal with that girl!" Said with loud voice and with angry face.

"Don't deal with anybody just let her be!" Said with low voice.

"I won't let her be that child of noone! That is what I called you for, I am busy right now but I will call you back!"

"Okay baby girl!" Iqmat hanged and laughed loudly.

"Funbi! Troublesome girl. Ashar abused me!" Mimicked her and continued laughing loudly.

Funbi took another file on the table and stood up, checked the file very well and leaving the office.

Somia came out from the corner of their office, turned to her left hand side and going to Auditing department which Semirat's was heading. Sound of the door closed and Funbi came out from her office, two of them met at the corridor of the apartment. Funbi looked at Somia from head to toes with bad eye, hissed and passed beside her.

Somia didn't even say anything just going to her friend's apartment, she had know Funbi with her behaviour.

Semirat was packing her belongings inside her small hand bag and wanted to go and pick her son from school.

Somia entered, greeting the people that were there as they were greeting her as well and with a lovely smile on her face. It was all of them at auditing department that likes Somia.

"Are you ready to be going home?" Somia asked.

"No! Have many work to do but I want to go and take my son from school, bring him here and be going home together because I still have many things to work on!" Carried the hand bag on her arm.

"Let be going together then! I want to go to restaurants even that is why I am here and to tell you how that goes!" She greeted the people and going out.

"That is true! So how do you do with the transferred letter, does Ashar knows about it?" She asked as they were walking beside each other and at the corridor.

"Can you imagine that Ashar did know anything about it even his parents did know, it's Funbi that did it"

"What is the problem of that girl?" Semirat said with anger.

"Fighting for her friend Iqmat! But I don't have anything with Ashar, he has wanted to get married and I can't marry marriage man again now. Ashar got angry even he went to see her and abused her!"

"No wonder she is shouting at everybody and she can't do that to me because i am boss on my own" Semirat said.

"I swear! I am tired of all this rubbish" the door opened automatically for them and got out from the company to the front where cars were packed.

"Don't let that weak you, don't think of that. If it's not that your uncle, what will you be doing under somebody! You will be the CEO of your own now!" Semirat felt concerned.

"Let forget about that man! Very soon I will know what to do. So call me when you are back" Said with low voice.

"I will! Let me quickly go, time is running low!"

"Okay!" Somia said and going into the restaurant at the front of the company and whom belongs to the company and food were free for the workers. Semirat entered into her car, started the car and driving to her son's school.

After some minutes. Somia came out from the restaurant with two nylon, her and Ashar's own and going back inside. Sometimes if Somia was busy Ashar use to come to buy food for both of them and didn't care about people or what they could be saying among themselves.

Semirat horn at the front of the school gate as she got there and the school gateman quickly opened the door for her, he greeted her with a smile on his face and Semirat too greeted him and also drop one thousand naira note on the floor for him and driving to the packing space.

The man was greeting her when he heard another horn at the gate and quickly opened it. It was Raheem that came to take his sister's son from school, he replied the gate man and gave him two thousand naira note and continued driving.

Semirat opened the car door and got down waiting for her son to come out, Raheem just got down from the car wanted to be going inside when he saw Semirat standing.

"Hey! How are you?" Raheem said with smile and walked closed to her.

"Good afternoon Sir! We meet again!" She too said with smile.

"Wow! I have wish to meet you again and finally I did, nice to meet you again and my name is Raheem!" Gave her his hand and two of them shook each other.

"Thank you very much Sir!" Raheem was jsut smiling at her.

"Are you here to pick your child or your sister's child?" Raheem asked.

"I am here to pick my son!" Said with low voice.

"Mom! You are here so early" Tomiwa ran to her and hugged each other. Raheem was looking at them when his sister's son too ran to him and doing there signs of greeting with figures.

"Wow! You are Basit's uncle, he is my son's friend and my son always use to talk about you, all the gifts you use to give him"

"Wow! Same here, I don't know you are Tomiwa's mother. Basit always use to talk about you and don't be angry with that!"

"Not at all! Thank you for taking care of my son!" Said with smile.

"Ah! I am so happy to see you, I have use with Tomiwa without know that he is your son, thank God we meet together!" He said with smile.

"Yes! I have to go back to work, Tomiwa let go"

"Bye uncle!" Tomiwa said and greeting Raheem.

"Waiting Semirat! Can you please give me your mobile number, I will like to be your friend for now"

"Okay! No problem" she said with low voice and called the phone for him.

"Thank you very much!" Smiling at her still she entered into the car, and him too going to where he packed carrying Basit's school bag and holding his right hand.

"I like uncle Raheem! He is nice!" Tomiwa said and Semirat smiled as he said and driving out from the school.

Raheem opened the door for Basit at the front and he entered, he put his school bag at the back and him too entered into the car, he started the car and turning the car.

"I like Tomiwa's mother, she is a nice person and also she is not marriage again" Raheem smile.

"Can you marry her uncle! I want Tomiwa to be among our family, she a is nice person!" Raheem looked at him and smiled.

"I like her! But she is the one that can decide that Okay!" He replied him and smiling as he was driving out.

"Hmm! I will tell her to marry you tomorrow!" Raheem laughed very loud and looked at him.
