CHAPTER 52

Somia got up from a praying mat that she spread on the floor beside her bag, she folded the praying mat into three and returned it back inside the wardrobe. She off the long white gown she was putting on and remains only pant and bra, so she started dressing for work.

She had took her bath already, just prayed first and before she started dressing for work.

Somia took a lovely green shirt on the bed and putting it on, she wore white trouser with it and sat down at the front of the dressing mirror doing a makeup. It was always a simple makeup that Somia always uses to do and even without makeup she was extremely beautiful.

She took a turban on the bed, tied it on her head, adjusted it very well and got up.

She took her phone on the bed side locker, unlocked it and wanted to order for the nearby tax was not far from vicinity that could take her to work. She was busy pressing the phone, looking at the map and searching. After few minutes she founds one and calling the driver.

"Hello! Yes, you are coming to B-lace estate, number 3b. Call me when you get there" she said to the driver.

"Alright, within ten minutes you will be here. I will be waiting" She said and hanged up from the call. She carried the black handbag that was on top of the wardrobe and leaving the bedroom with her phone and the heel shoes on her right hand.

Sound of the door closed. Somia got down to the living room, met the light on and she had known that her mother had come down to the living room this morning.

She sat down on the coach, dropped the shoes on the floor and started wearing it using that to be waiting for the taxi driver.

"You are ready to go" Somia's mother said as she came out from the kitchen and with a lunch bag in her left hand.

"Good morning Mother! What are you doing in the kitchen at this early day?" she asked as she was knotting the shoes.

"I decided to cook breakfast for you today and that is why I woke very early" Somia stood up as she heard this.

"Ah! Thank you very much Mom" She hugged her mother, it was once that their mother uses to cook for them and that day always uses to special to them. It was Somia or Nana or even Ibrahim that uses to cook on the normal day.

"It's for you and Semirat, even let me confess its Semirat I made it for"

"Okay oh! Mom, let me quickly, tell you this before the taxi will arrives" her mother sat down on the coach and she too sat down beside her.

"Iqmat, Ashar's wife to be called me to the toilet in the hall and said something that I have not understand. She first apologies for what that Funbi did a day before and now said that it's obvious that Ashar like me and like to be seeing me around him" Her mother was looking at her and taking the huge point from it.

"She said, don't worry after the wedding I will be happy, Ashar will be happy and she too will surely be happy. That is what I don't understand, Semirat too heard and none of understand"

"After the wedding, you will be happy, Ashar will be happy and she too will be happy?"

"Yes mother! I don't know what concern me after their wedding? And why did she told me that? That is what I don't understand, she included me"

"I too don't understand as well because after wedding, it's her and husband that should have that but included you know that is what------"Somia's mother was talking when Somia's phone started ringing and it was the taxi driver.

"Oh! You are outside, I am coming now" Somia said and hanged up from the call. She got up, dropped her phone inside her bag and carried it and the lunch bag.

"We will continue with our conversation when you are back but please be careful" Somia's mother said with low voice.

"Yes ma! Bye Ma and take care of yourself Mom!" Somia said and leaving, sound of the door opened and closed.

Somia's mother got up, standing on a spot for few minutes and thinking on what Somia said.

"After the wedding, Somia will be happy, Ashar will be happy and she too will be happy. She is the only one that explain it" She said and going to her going to her bedroom.

Somia got down to the compound of their house, opened the small gate and leaves the house. She walked a little too where the driver packed, opened the back door and entered. Put the two bags on the seat beside her and sat down very well.

"I have been about to start the trip now, Ma" said as he started the car.

"Aright!" Somia said with low voice, put her elbow on the door and rest her head.

After hour and some minutes. Somia arrived too the company, the taxi driver packed at the centre of the company. Somia packed the two bags, opened the door and got down.

The driver greeted her and she had paid him with bank transfer, Somia replied back and going inside. The door opened automatically for her and she entered.

She put the two bags down on the cabinet at the front of the secretary, drawn the attendance book closed to herself and signing at where she supposed to. She covered the pen and wanted to put it inside her bag back when a hand held her right hand, she looks up and see that it was Funbi, looking at Somia with an evil eye.

"Come with me!" She drawing her to corridor and the secretary was looking at her, she was so surprised and know that two of them were not closed.

"What is it? What do want" Somia said with loud voice and as she released her hand from Funbi's hand and at the corridor to Funbi's department.

Funbi was looking at Somia with bad eye for few minutes and spoke.

"Who are you? I said who are you? Or are you a spy" Funbi asked.

"Excuse you! Is that what this for this morning, and please I don't have time" Somia replied back with loud voice.

"I saw the diamond necklace and earring that you are trying to be hiding yesterday at the party. You that I know where you are living, that you are a child of nobody now use that kind of diamond necklace and earring"

"Nobody is trying to hid anything, see me wearing a diamond necklace and earring is none of your business Funbi" Somia said with loud voice and wanted to be living.

"I have known all this while that you are fake, just pretending. I am asking you, are you a spy? Who send you to this company? I know much about gold and diamond, I know how expensive how it's. So for someone like you to have that kind of diamond necklace and earring and still here working as a P.A for someone or living in that kind of place"

"I don't know your problem about this and thank God that you know that jewellery can feed you and your generation for more than five year, this is to tell you that stop talking and vomiting rubbish about people that you know nothing about their background"

"You are very stupid for what you just said Somia, it's your generation that the fake jewellery will feed. How dare you" Said with anger and looking with anger.

"Excuse me please! I have something to do with my day" Somia said with loud voice, looks at Funbi with bad eye and leaving the place.

"Look at her! Very fake girl, no talking rubbish to me" She shouted.

"I am sure she borrowed the diamond jewellery, she can never have it very stupid girl. And from now, I will be doing investigation about you" She said with anger, turns to her left hand side and going to her office.

"Now! Called me for a rubbish talk!" Somia said with anger shows all over her as she got to the secretary post and carried the two bag with anger and leaving the place.

She turns to right hand and going to the office. She put the lunch bag down on the floor, opened the door widely and carried the lunch bag back and entering into the office.

She closed the door, put the two bag on the table and wanted to sat down when her phone started ringing from the bag, she opened the bag and brought the phone out.

"Hello Sir!" She said with low voice and it was Ashar that called.

"How are you Somia? Where are you?" He was in his bedroom, standing at the front of the mirror and wearing a very beautiful outfit.

"I am good Sir, just arrived to company right now Sir"

"Okay! Tomorrow its home you should resume to, we have something important to talk on. I saw the letter you put together with the wristwatch and I see that it's not what we will be discuss on phone"

"Okay Sir! I will do as you said Sir" Somia said with low voice.

"I am going to Raheem's house even I have dress already if not I will say that you should come right now"

"Tomorrow is okay Sir! I will be in your house tomorrow" Somia sat down on the chair.

"Alright! Take care of yourself and before I forget, I really love the wristwatch and hope it doesn't make you broke because I see that the wristwatch is expensive" said with smile.

"Not at all Sir! But don't let me lie, Raheem added some money to it for me and Semirat even he is the one that took us to the place that we brought them from"

"Wow! I really love it and thank you Somia" link his lips and smiling.

"You are welcome Sir! I am glad you love it" Somia said with low voice and smiles.

"Okay! I will be on my way to Raheem's house now and tomorrow resume here"

"I heard you Sir and my regard to him when you get there"

"I will sure be! Take care of yourself for me and don't over work yourself, I will call you when I get to his place"

"Yes Sir" Somia hanged up, Ashar was smiling for few minutes as he hanged up from the call and leaving the room.

"This Funbi is very stupid sha!" Somia remembered Funbi again as she dropped her phone on the table and bringing her laptop out from the bag. She put the laptop down, opened it and on it. Left it to been loading and check the file on the table to know where she stopped her work for two days that they had work last.
