CHAPTER 69

Akeem also known as Ali had woke up very early in the morning, even the day hadn't clear and it was around 6:00pm. He was standing at the front of the dressing mirror, wearing a white shirt on top of a blank jeans and also putting on a long blank jacket. He used a nose mask, took a spec at the front of the mirror, uses it and looking at himself at the front of the mirror and adjusting the nose mask.

TJ opened his eye as he changed his position on the bed, he saw Akeem standing at the front of the mirror and looking at him with the way he dressed.

Akeem held the cap in the jacket, used it to cover his head and looking at him at the front of the mirror.

"What is this dressing for? Where are you going to during this time and you know that those guys have been outside" Akeem removed the cap as he heard TJ's voice.

"I need to go out and plan on how to get the money, and that is what I am planning to do" He replied with low voice and TJ got up from the bed, sitting on the bed.

"You know that all those guys have been at the gate waiting for you, so going out now is so risky for you" Felt concern about him.

"And that is why I have to go out and know how to get the money, should I stay here still those guys located this place and killed me? I have to go out and make sure I get the money"

"Hmm! I understand but please be very careful, your life is important" TJ said with low voice.

"I will, I am going with your bike and also I am switching off my phone so you may not be able to reach me" He said as he used the cap back and adjusted it.

"I don't think you should do that, how do you want mean me to know your whereabouts and also incase if something bad happened to you" TJ said with loud voice and got up.

"I will be fine brother, I believe that!" two of them hugged each other, separated from each other after few minutes and Akeem going out from the room. TJ was looking at him remorseful as he was going out and sat down on the bed as the door closed.

Akeem got down to the compound, closed the door and looked round the environment for his security purpose. He quickly climbed the bike, started the bike and riding it out from the compound. He was looking left and right as he was riding the bike out from the estate and running very fast.

One of the security guard opened the small gate for him and came out from the estate, as he came out from the gate, one of the boys saw a him on the bike from the car that he was, looking at the way he disguised and suspiciously.

"Guys! Guys!! Wake up now!" He shouted loudly and woke their boss too up from the front.

"I saw a guy disguised out from the estate and on a bike, from my observations I think he is the one" He said with loud voice and all of them got up in hurry.

"Where is he? Where is the person that you saw?" Their boss asked with loud voice and all of them looking at front the car.

"That is him, wore a blank jacket!" The guy said with loud voice as he saw Akeem's back on a bike and going on the road.

"It's him! Start the car now and follow him!" their boss ordered the driver, the driver quickly on the car's engine and started driving. Looking at Akeem from the side mirrors and going with him from behind.

Semirat was in her living room sitting on the chair with a plate of rice on her hand and with a bottle of water on the table, folded her legs and watching movie.

It was at night that she and Somia returned back home because of the serious traffic on their ways so Ashar gave them today off and told them to use it to rest.

She was laughing and having the movie interesting as she was eating. Suddenly, a text message entered on her phone, she put the plate on her laps and took the phone beside her. She on the phone and saw that her son had been signed out from school.

"What! This is just 10:11 am, and now my so had been signed out" She was surprised and decided to call Raheem first to confirm.

It was Ashar and Raheem that were together, since Somia didn't come to work, him too didn't go so he decided to come and had fun with him.

"Hello my Love!" Ashar smiles as Raheem said so and looking at him.

"Hello! Have you picked Tomiwa from school?" Her mind had been shacking.

"No! by this time, it's 1:00 pm I am planning to living home and go and pick him first" Semirat jumped as she heard this and she had forgot that she put a plate on her laps, the plate fell on the floor and broke.

"Oh! My God, I saw that he had been signed out. I must do something now"

"Calm down! Signed out by who and during this time?" Raheem said with loud voice and him too had panic.

"I have to go to his school now, my son! My son!!" She hanged up from the car, took the car key and ran out of the house even she didn't lock the door.

"Hello! Hello!! She had hanged up" Raheem said with low voice.

Semirat ran down to the compound like a mad woman, opened the door of the car and ran inside. She started the car and driving out, as she was driving out she was calling Somia's number.

"Hello girlfriend! How are you?" Somia was wearing an armless top and a jeans trouser, she was lying on the bed and wanted to sleep.

"Hello! Somia, it's like there is trouble, my son had been signed out from school and Raheem said he was not the one" Her voice was shanking as she was talking.

"Signed out by this time!" Somia said with loud voice and got up.

"There is trouble, I have been going to his school now because I don't know what to do. My son should not die, I am scared!" She was just driving out from the estate gate.

"Just calm down, calm down!! I will join you there now and let me call those guys" Somia said with loud voice.

"I don't want to lose my son, Akeem as put my son in danger, I am done" felt like crying.

"Calm down and put your mind at rest, you know you are driving. Everything is going to be fine so let me call you back" Somia had got up on her foots and she been panic just hiding it because of Semirat.

"I heard you! Okay! Okay!!" She said twice and hanged up. Somia breathe out and making a phone call and also thinking.

"Hello! It's like there is trouble, Semirat called me now that Tomiwa had been signed out from school by this time, that mean there is problem" Somia said with loud voice.

"Calm down Somia! We are round the school premises and it's true that the child had been signed out but it was by his father" The laundry man said and he was inside his car driving.

"But one thing is that, the drug dealer's boys have been going with him to where he is going to and now we too have been following him as well to know where he is going to"

"It's Akeem that signed him out from school?" Somia said with low voice.

"Yes! So this gives us a rest of mind that the child is still at a saver hand, but the boys have been after Akeem and this cause a panic as well. We are following him to know where he is going to so as we get that, I will call you back"

"Why Akeem want to put Tomiwa's life in risk now, please do that and let me know. I am going to his school now to meet Semirat so from there we will meet you guys"

"Alright! Let me call you back please" The guy hanged up.

Somia quickly ordered for a cab that was nearest to her and ready to pay additional money for it, she took a head tie inside the wardrobe and left the room. She got down to the living room and going out, she locked the door and going out from the compound.
