Calm before storm
"The Kingdom of Chu should have their retribution." Tang Xuan sounds out angrily.
"But-"
"There's no buts! They've crossed the line " He cuts the general next to him irritably.
"I understand that you're angry. But we need to wait for the Emperor's commands!" the same general whose name was Shao Kao said.
"Wait? How long have we wait? How long have we been here just defending? This is a war and yet we are just defending? Half year has passed! And yet he hasn't give us any order!" Tang Xuan slammed the papers to the table and made the general shut up.
"I agree. We will die at this rate. The food supply is only enough to keep us for another two months, if we don't do anything soon. We will all sacrifice unnecessary death." The calm general, general fu who has been watching them arguing for the last 5 minutes finally made his stand and agreed with Tang Xuan.
While they were discussing, leaning outside the door was Tang Xue trying to listen to their decision.
"What a fool of an emperor!" She whispered to Han Jing who was guarding the door.
"I know right! If he has ordered us to attack Chu in the first place, we would have won and will be back in our home with our families right now." The other soldier guarding the door said.
Tang Xue has somehow made lots of friends with the soldiers. She replaced granny and became the main healer of the camp and thus earning her a bundle of cooperative comrades.
"Tang Xue, come in!" Tang Xuan's voice rang from inside.
"How did he know? I'm so doomed!" Tang Xue looked at her two friends for help.
"Just go in and don't implicate us!" The two soldiers guarding the door said
"What a friend!" She sighed and calmed her heart down before walking inside, proud and confident only to be greeted by Tang Xuan's glaring eyes.
"What are you doing this time?" He said accusingly.
"I was just passing by." Flashing her innocent smile and walking closer to the table they're surrounding.
The general next to him chuckles before saying
"Let her be, maybe she will welcome us with another of her amusing ideas."
Tang Xuan sighed giving up on a certain girl. He couldn't help but she looks so adorable right now and he can't afford to get angry anymore. He wasn't't even going to ask how she managed to get this close with his generals.
"What do you think?" He gave up on lecturing her and instead asked her.
"About the Emperor?"
"No, about what to do to that kingdom."
"How many soldiers do they have?"
"More than 30,000."
"While we have only 10,000. That's like three times."
"... We can't attack them head on. Why don't we let them kill themselves?"
"What do you mean?" General Fu asks.
"Listen up..." And so she tells her wonderful plans.

*Camp of Chu*
"What's this smell?" The sleeping soldier asked as he woke his comrades who was sleeping in the tent.
"Huh? What happen?" The sleeping soldiers asked.
"FIRE! FIRE!!!" He shouted as he realized the cause of the smell awaking the other soldiers.
"QUICKLY INFORM THE GENERAL! THE STORAGE IS ON FIRE!" the soldiers who has just went to their dreamland was quickly awoken and ran to their general camp.

"Xue er, it seems that your plan works well"
Sitting on top of the hill with a bright smile on her face as she watched her plan wrecked the camp of Chu and with a bottle of wine on her hand while facing the satisfied general who were holding a bow.
Tang Xue thought of the night granny died right in front of her, she thought of granny's limp body and granny's opened eyes. Her little sympathy toward the soldier completely vanish and the her eyes flashed with a slight glint of blood lust.
"Of course. My plan never fail." The woman drank her wine as she thought about her plan to kill every one of the people who caused her granny's death.
"Now that the plan is half way, bring me back to the camp." She held both if her hands up to him and demanded him to carry her back to the camp.
"It amuse me how a simple plan could kill so many people." The general took the bottle from her hand and drank it himself before carrying her and fled away from their hiding place.
"I didn't kill the people. I simply burned their food. Beside, they aren't death... yet." She replied taking her precious wine back from him,it was the only thing that kept her mind busy from the thought of granny.
"Burning their supplies will leave them starving. You are indirectly killing them." He said taking back the bottle which were almost empty from her drunken self.
"Maybe yes, maybe no." She replied. She leaned her body to his shoulders and let him carry her back to their camp.
"How did you think of using birds to burn their supplies?"
'I watched it in a movie.'
"I don't know, it just come to me."
He looked at Tang Xue with doubts and she just raised her head looking at him innocently.
"Yeah right." He drank the last of the wine and threw the bottle to the flowing river.

The soldiers stood frozen, gawking their eyes at their mighty commander who was now carrying a drunk woman in his arms.
His eyes slightly darken when she whispers something to his ears.
Tang Xue supposed 'friends' are watching at the sight and silently thought to themselves.
'Tang Xue mei mei, may you rest in peace.'

Tang Xue woke up with a bad hangover. It felt like she could drink the wine over and over again just to ignore this hangover.
She went out and saw the same scenery again.
They just love running around the camp shirtless, don't they? She meannn... she didn't hate it. She just hate it when they saw her staring at their perfect abs and it felt so embarrassing.
But as she walked to Xuan's tent, she felt weird gazes toward her.
"Xuan! Why are your soldiers throwing weird gazes to me- argghhhhh!"
"WHAT THE FUCK, PUT YOUR PANTS ON!"
Tang Xuan's shocked face went back to his usual calm and cold face when he saw her.
"You should have announce yourself before getting in."
Tang Xue looked over her fingers and saw him already wearing his pants, she then pointed toward his tent door and asked.
"Why are there no one guarding?"
"I dismissed them."
"Why?"
Tang Xuan looked at her curious expression and thought that she was cute.
