SURPRISE

Time passed but I didn't felt like I was lonely at all, there was something that was always connected to me as if we were tied together with an indestructible force.

I soared high into the air and tried my best to maintain balance, the wind blew me and I travelled the wind's flow and eventually met Merici- the cute blonde girl and travelled in the sky together but suddenly the wind formed a huge and powerful storm and unfortunately we got stuck in, I couldn't breathe and in that instant and my consciousness re-activated.

I raised my head and opened my eyes and realized that I was able to breathe just fine, I tried to lift up my body but I felt something heavy on top of my body, I tilted my head downwards and saw Merici, her blonde hair scattered around and a soft sensation on my chest, a thought crossed my head that how did that happen, some seconds later I came back to my sensation and my face turned red, slowly I saw Merici open her eyes and it didn't took her long to notice and her face too became red that was actually pretty cute. We both shouted and gave out a loud scream.

I thrusted my body out of the mattress and rushed at the corner of the room before she could punch me in the face with, I looked at her all shy and cute, she blushed endlessly and accompanied a murderous aura around her, I realized if I had not rushed back at that moment I might be dead.

With a frightened look on my red face, I asked her-

"You... you.. weren't you sleeping on the bed, why were you on the mattress where I was asleep.?"

She blushed more and more as she looked towards me and opened her mouth gently-

"I should be the one asking-- why are you na.. naked on the top, go and wear something, you idiot.", she threw a pillow at me closed her eyes.

I blocked the pillow and stood up, it was my habit that I would eventually undress the top portion of my body while I slept, I looked at her and asked again--

"But.... why were you on the mattress?", I asked her in a not so loud voice while I looked away from her.

"Does it matter, I might have fell down of the bed, go and change first.", she said loudly with her frail voice.

She slowly tried to take a peek and slightly opened her eyes, but as she saw the black-vertical pair of wings right below my left shoulder and the black feathers that spread on my left arm, her eyes widened and she came closer to me and suddenly touched my <> and asked--

"Hey, what is this?"

"Ohh.. that it is my birthmark which keeps growing, well... to be honest I also don't know what it is?", I answered instantly while I stared at her.

"But, it isn't normal, it feels like I have seen this somewhere, but can't remember where.". she said and touched it with her soft hands and also pinched my skin.

"Aaahhhhh, what are you doing, it hurts y'know..... you might have seen it in my memories last night.", I suggested her, she had a serious look on her face while she pondered hard.

"Well... I can tell you are not normal, I didn't see this in your memories, many of them like before you were six and some parts were total blank as if some overwhelming force was sealing it."

I looked at her with my sharp eyes and listened to her very carefully because there were some things that my Grandpa wanted to hide from me and also there were also some questions that he never answered.

"Well... who cares, I will find out eventually no matter what... by the way what time is it?"

I tried to search for my alarm clock around me but it was not anywhere to be found and at that moment I remembered that I crushed it due to the dream which I had yesterday, I gave a deep sigh and ultimately looked at the clock on the wall.

"Huhhhhhh.... it's already 8:30, I have to get ready before 9."

Merici moved backwards and also relieved a sigh and said with a gentle smile on her face.

"Well... you are right, ok then go get ready for school."

I glared at her with my blue-dragonish eyes and said.

"Hey Merici did you forget, I only let you stay for one day, so now you must leave."

"Ehhhhh... why I don't wanna.", she said while gazing into my eye as if she wanted to stay here forever, but I couldn't keep such a cute girl hidden in my dorm.

"No, means no, now leave before anyone sees you."

She pouted and averted her eyes and looked sideways.

"You are so mean, y'know... heehhhhh.. looks like I've got no choice, well... then see you later Ray."

As she said those words with a happy face I felt uneasiness in my heart after she left through the window by help of the rope, maybe because of the contract that connected us and it had a side-effect for being too far away from each other.

"Hey, Ray... wake up, you will be late again.."

A soft voice of a girl travelled through the door that tried to wake me up.

"I am awake, don't worry, I will be down in a while.", I shouted so that my voice could be heard across the door.

As the day passed on, I reached the school at time and stood at the school gate and waited for him.

"Heyyy... Ray.. Good Morning!!.", the voice of an annoying person reached my ears loud and clear, it was none other than Troy, the black haired, pale looking kid who always acted like my older brother, I looked at him and replied.

"Hii, Troy... why are you still alive?", I asked out of annoyance.

"Hahaha.. you are always joking, aren't you.", he said while laughing.

He placed his right hand on top of my head and ruffled my head like always, it always was embarrassing for me whenever he did that, although it felt good a bit.

"Hehhh.. you are doing it again, I told you it's embarrassing.", I removed his hand and looked at him with my angered face with sharp eyes full of embarrassment.

"Hehehehe....."

We both moved inside the school building and walked towards our class- (2,'A'), we both were in the same class, hopefully he wasn't in the same dorm as me.

"Hey, Ray.. did you know a transfer student is joining the school today and that too the person is in our class.", Ray said with a face of excitement, he was the kind of person to get excited at small things.

"Ohh... a transfer student... I wonder who is it?", I pondered on it, but I had a weird feeling about it and a very bad thought thought crossed my mind and I wondered-

'A transfer student, I have a really bad hunch about it, it isn't her is it?'

As I kept wondering my mind went blank and we had reached the class, the moment we entered the class, a orange haired spunky boy named <> appeared in front of eyes, I was shocked and greeted him.

"Ohhh... if it isn't Luke, Good Morning.", I said with a weird face.

"Morning!! Luke"

Luke looked at us and suddenly his eyes sparkled and he said.

"Hey, Troy, Ray, morning!..., so what do you think will it be a girl or a boy?", Luke questioned us with his face looking excited as hell, well.. Luke was a spunky boy, who levels higher than Troy in excitement and energy.

"Maybe it is a girl.... I think there is 80% chance.", I replied because if my hunch was right then I might have an idea who it was.

"Ohh... it will be nice if a girl joins, I am excited.", he said while hoping for a girl to be the new member of the class.

While we talked about the transfer student, our homeroom teacher showed up behind me and hit me in the head with her files.

"", I turned back and saw her and said.

"Ohh.. Good Morning!! Eriko sensei, you shouldn't hit a shouldn't y'know, you might get fired.", I tried to tease her as our homeroom teacher was quite hot-blooded.

She hit me again with her files and said.

"That is not for you to decide, Ray, well.. I am glad that you are on time.", she smiled like a jerk and moved towards her table.

"Okk, everyone settle down, well... you already know that there is a new student, so.. let's get to it.", she announced to the whole class.

Everyone settled down on their seats and were curious about the person, well.. there was a strong hype regarding transfer students always, on the other side I was on the verge of death due to my weird hunch.

I looked at the door and saw a young girl who wore a black skirt with an white shirt and had banded her beautiful blonde hair with red ribbon, and without a doubt it was the cute looking blonde goddess that I knew. She slowly entered the class as everyone's eyes widened.

"HELLO!! Everyone, I am <>, I hope you we can get along..", she gently spoke and introduced herself to the class.

The expression on my face was speechless at that time, my hunch was right and it felt like she had started another huge mess, at the moment I felt like life had been sucked away from body and had been re-attached, I gazed at her with my eyes with a face of discontentment.

She walked and came towards me and showed a devilish grin on her face, and sat next me, it was as if she had succeeded to tease me while I cried inside my heart.
