CAMELOT

In front of us stood four students- two boys and two girls, as the ones in each side blew party poppers instantly Merici opened the door, paper flakes flew in the air as they welcomed the new member.

"<>", they shouted in harmony.

The expression on Merici's face became so happy that it was priceless to describe, her face lit up like a candle and her eyes twinkled with stars, anyone could tell that she was extremely happy.

A girl named <> who had red long hair and deep-brown eyes also lived in the dorm who always tried her best to wake me up, but mostly she failed. She came forward and gave Merici a hand.

"Come Inside...", she said with a kind and light-hearted voice.

We all followed Rose and Merici into the big and fancy dorm, actually all the people who lived in were all from the same class, the other boys beside me were- and , Luke was always an energetic kid levels ahead of Troy and had orange hair with stupid but good face, while Grey was always cool-headed and as his name suggested his hair was also coincidentally 'Grey'. And there was another person from our class, her name was , she had short blue hair with normal black eyes, most of the time she was not present in the class cause she was an expert bunker.

Rose showed Merici the kitchen, the dining room, and all of the rooms in which the students lived on the first floor, while on our way to the second floor through the stairs Sera questioned me.

"Hey.... Ray-kun is it true?", she looked at me with her eyes desperate.

"What is?", I responded quickly and tried to act as if I knew nothing.

"The fact that you are Vermillion-san's fiancée.", she said while glaring at me suspiciously,

"WEll... yeah, it is true.", I averted my eyes from her and had no choice but to admit the lie created by her.

Slowly-slowly we arrived at the third and the top floor after Rose showed her the rooms in the second floor, where there were two normal sized rooms for the students but there was one large room for the teacher.

Rose moved forward ahead of us and turned back and her long hair flew, she said.

"We have finally arrived, this is the top floor where Ray lives and you will live, there is also a veranda here and at the back is the storage area.... hehe.", she said cheerfully, she was always the cheerful and friendly type of person.

Merici's eyes glowed and sparkles showed up in her golden eyeball, I couldn't understand whether she was happy to live on the top floor due to the veranda or because I also lived on the top floor.

She slowly opened the door to her room that was aligned exactly opposite to my gate, as she went inside she saw a large room in which there was already a bed meant for a single person, the floor had white tiles while the ceiling was also white-colored, almost all the rooms in 'Camelot' were white-colored, the room was sufficiently big and there was also a bathroom at the back in her room.

The rest of started to move back and turned around and left the floor while waving their hands.

"Take your time and settle all the things.", Luke said with his voice strong and firm.

{ AT 6:00 p.m. }

It had been a while since Merci came into the dorm and was arranging her things, I was laying on my bed and thought about the morning when we woke up together from my mattress and remembered her unforgivable and great smell and also pondered why was she on my mattress?

Suddenly a soft voice passed through the door and shouted my name.

"Ray.. are you in there.. open the door.", Merici knocked the door hard and yelled my name loudly.

"Don't break the door.. damnit, wait.. a bit..", I also yelled loudly.

I moved forward and opened the door and saw Merici with her cute-looking face with golden eyes and her blonde hair banded as usual with red ribbon and she wore an adorable white dress that looked awesomely phenomenal. i kept staring at her but after a while came back to my senses, I welcomed her inside for the second time but not from the window, this time from the gate, truly frightening.

We both sat down on the floor facing each other, Merici had a serious face on her face, slowly she opened her mouth and said--

"Do you remember about the <> and the contract.", she gazed into my eyes while asking the question.

"Well.. yeah... the game where only one has to survive.... and due to the contract I always feel something binding us together, as if we are connected.", I answered seriously and looked into her eyes.

"OK.. then...", before she could say more I interrupted her at that moment and questioned.

"Wait,, I understand that you are doing such kind of game and honestly I have no interest in your reason, but for such a big game there has to be a for both the gods and humans.. what is it.. tell me--...", I gazed at her face and asked the question with a unsatisfied look on my face.

"", she exhaled a bit and looked at me and replied-

"The prize.. for gods it to a higher rank and for humans their , that's all."

"Desire,... huh.. okay I understand, but what will you do if you can't fulfill ones desire.", I asked her while looking at her with a cocky face.

Merici cocked her face and placed her finger on her lip and said.

"Well... I don't know.. it's their problem..", she was truly hopeless.

"Huhhh.. guess I don't have a choice..", I relieved a sigh and responded.

Merici had an angry look on her face while she pouted with her mouth filled with air.

"Don't interrupt me the next time...", she said irritatingly.

"Okay...okayy..", I said while relaxing with both of my hands on the back of my head.

Merici suddenly pointed her index finger of her right hand towards me and asked.

"DO YOU THINK YOU CAN WIN?", she questioned with a very sharp look on her face and her eyes gazing straight towards me.

When I looked at Merici, I understood that she didn't underestimated me, but the fact was that gods were extremely powerful beyond my expectations. I averted my eyes and looked at the sky through the window and replied.

"Well... honestly I don't know.. cause I don't have an idea of how powerful the other gods are, so how could I know?".

"You have a point!!", she locked her arms and said while pondering.

Suddenly she opened her golden eyes and freed her arms and gazed straight at me and said.

"Okayyy.. I've decided.. I'll train you from tomorrow so that you can fight other gods.. then.. don't go anywhere after school tomorrow.", she said with a lot of excitement and a serious face.

"Hehhhh... training.. I hate it.. well.. I have to do it, don't I, or you will force me to death.", I said while looking at her with serious face.

Merici cocked her head and smiled at me and said with a very cheerful and happy voice.

"YESSS!!!"

"", I released a sigh and got up and moved out of the room and looked back at her and said.

"Well... okay.. then, I am going to prepare dinner, tonight we will have a feast, it's your .", I said with a smile on my face.

Her eyes sparkled and her happiness showed clearly on her face, well.. she was cute as hell.
