18. Clementine(2)/Food Court Gangsters

Ryan and I arrive at the vending machine. I get myself a canned coffee and offered him a drink but he refused. He began talking.

"I tried calling you lastnight but your system couldn't be detected."

I forgot about his revenge plan.

"sorry, sorry... I was with a friend yesterday and by the time I got back to my dorm I fell asleep."

"Can we talk about it later after the level-up time?"

"yeah sure I'll be waiting. You better get going Miyuki might see you with me."

He quickly walks away and acts like nothing happened. He was quite nervous approaching me a while ago.

I walk back towards our table and Miyuki is there again causing displeasure for the two girls. He talks to Valerie and Clementine trying to seduce them. Valerie and Clementine stands up seeing me nearing the table and both of them cling to my arms on both sides.

Valeries breasts have a nice plump feeling to it. Not big but not small either. Clementines breasts were bigger and felt softer.

Miyuki looks at us with eyes filled with scorn

"Ehemm.. Clementine?.. Valerie I got this stand behind me."

I whisper to their ears and they obediently followed.

"Whats this? You girls just lower your values throwing yourselves to this trash."

"Whats your problem?" I ask him in an annoyed tone.

He walks closer to me and look at me straight in the eyes.

"What? You can't accept that I am better than you? Go away now and leave these girls to us and I might let you go unhurt."

He tells me in a sarcastic tone provoking me.

"As if I would do that. You don't scare me at all." I tell him calmly.

He then grabs my collar and lifts me up just like keesha did.

"You?! Do you seriously want to get hurt. Let me tell you right now, I' m already level 113 and I have Earth and Vitality mastery. Judging by your previous level up session it doesn't take much to know that you haven't even reached level 10. You still not scared you ugly shit?"

"You wanna go there?" I ask him provoking him.

I activate pressure and grab both of his wrists crushing it with sheer strength but enough so that it won't break.

His hold on me weakens and my feet returns to the floor. He shoves me back and Valerie and Clementine catch me from behind.

"What was that?" He asks a bit shocked.

I didn't mind him and straightned up my uniform after being lifted up.

"Clementine, Valerie lets go I lost my appetite to eat." I softly put my arms around their shoulders and turn around slowly, smiling.

"You sure? You might get sick not eating properly."

"I might get even more sick just by looking at that guy."

"Your right." Clementine supports my claim.

"You think you're that great, huh? "

"Its not what I think its just an unspoken fact."

"HUUUH?!? Lets see you beg for me not to beat you up near death this coming school "HBL"." He looks so confident right now. Actually you just look stupid.

"HBL?"

"Its called the Hounds Battle League." Clementine tells me.

"Its a school event were required to join." she adds.

"I read about that but I don't think they call it that?"

"The students just likes calling it that you don't have to mind it."

"Lets go boys...! I can just wait for the time to leisurely beat this trash up!" Miyuki shouts then leaves immidaitely."

The three of us sit down again. Clementine begins talking.

"I've heard people getting seriously hurt by vaitality masters with another mastery in the school events before. They cause low damage attacks and buff the pain sensory of the enemy. The Vitality mastery is pretty rare but usually you gain it when you already have 2 or more masteries. His plan might exactly be that." Clementine tells us.

"oh really?... Can you tell me more about the vitality mastery?"

"My father has it. He can control some body functions with it. Like the 5 senses. He can also temporarily increase his strength. He can also boost his brainpower with it. When I tripped once while wearing a long dress I couldn't stand up. He came up to me then the pain was gone. He told me he used one of his skills to temporarily seal the pain on my ankles. Likewise he can boost the sense of pain. Judging by the event rules, the match goes on until the enemy is incapable to fight. The match is stopped if a person can deal deadly damage and that person is the winner."

"So thats his plan?.... Thanks Clementine I will keep that in mind. Speaking of which why are you with us today? Youre usually out of sight."

"Well.. I guess I just wanted to stay with the people who are not intimidated by me and have a decent conversation." She tells us happily.

"Sorry about Miyuki.. He hates me for some reason. You didn't get that "Decent conversation" you wanted."

"Don't mind it. I enjoyed talking to you even just like this."

"Youre our first friend here so don't hold back you can just come to us and hangout okay?" Valerie tells Clementine with a a lovely smile on her face

"Yeah, Valerie seems to enjoy your company. She usually stays silent so try talking to her more."

"Yeah, I really enjoy our gir-- I mean late night talks before sleeping."

She was seriously about to say girl talk. I hope Valerie doesn't share anything that would mess us up.

(Friday, is there anything suspicous with their talks?)

|Not really they only talk about make up and clothes and how they think it would feel when having sex.|

(Thats suspicious... Clementine might have the feeling that Valerie already experienced whats she talks about..)

"Oh sorry what was that?" It seems I was spacing out while talking to Friday..

"So? What do you plan to do about the school event?"

"You don't have to trouble yourself thinking about me.. I will just have to handle it when the time comes."

I'll beat him to a pulp and steal his girl.

"Okay, just don't underestimate your enemy and do your best.. Why don't we head back to class its almost time for leveling up."

"Says the girl who underestimated me the first time we met. I might have attacked you, you know?" I say saracastically.

"Well I'm not as weak as you think as well.."

"Whatever... You can go on ahead were not really joining the level up session."

"Oh yeah I never saw you guys there after the first time we did it. Why is that?"

"We can't level up properly without physical activities." I say.. I hope she just lets us off with that.

"Oh really? Thats unusual.. Well anyway, Goodluck! I'll go ahead." She turns around and walks out the Foodcourt.

"Thanks, You too... Goodluck!" Thank you for not asking further. I feel the tension leaving my body.

After she left Valerie and I decide to learn about the possible ways I can combat Miyuki in the school event.
