Chapter 5: A Legacy Of Wrath

The battlefield was chaotic, but my mind was fixated on one thing—the sight of my mother and Cryella sobbing over a lifeless body.

At first, my brain refused to process it.

It looked like my father, but… that didn't make sense. I just saw him minutes ago. There was no way. No way.

I wanted to say something—anything—but my throat locked up, as if something was physically strangling me from the inside. Instead, I stood there, trembling, my body paralyzed by a growing, indescribable dread.

That was all the opening my enemy needed.

SMASH!

A fist crashed into my ribs, sending me skidding across the battlefield like a skipping stone. But the physical pain was nothing compared to the raw agony surging in my chest.

Who did it?

Who had the audacity to take my father from me?

Then, I heard them. Two screams. Two desperate cries.

The answer stood right there.

The bastard was smiling.

His words barely left his lips before I exploded.

> "I FCKING DARE YOU, YOU PIECE OF SHT DOG!!!"

A deep, visceral rage unlike anything I'd ever felt coursed through my veins. My Ki roared outward, an untamed storm of raw fury. Muscles swelled, energy crackled, and something inside me broke—a limit I hadn't even realized existed.

My body changed.

I could feel it.

My hair spiked up and burned with a gleaming silver sheen, my irises shifted to a vibrant magenta, and my aura darkened, crackling with raw power.

For the first time in my life, I felt truly free.

Unburdened.

Unstoppable.

I launched forward.

The Trio's Reaction

"Bwahahaha! I'd like to see what you can do with that weak battle power of yo—" Lavender sneered.

BOOM!

Before he could finish, my foot smashed into his face, sending him rocketing into Bergamo like a living missile.

"Ahhhhhh!!!"

A massive explosion of dust followed.

Basil, still scanning my power level, blinked at his broken scouter as it short-circuited.

"Uh… Bergamo? That thing just… exploded. That's not normal."

Basil rushed to the ship to check the backup scanner.

> [Scanning… Scanning… Complete] Battle Power: 1,228,800,000,000 [DANGER: Power Level keeps rising. Recommended action: GIVE UP, RUN, OR CAPTURE TARGET IMMEDIATELY]

Basil turned pale. "B-Bergamo… we might be f*cked."

Bergamo, cradling an unconscious Lavender with two broken arms, spat. "Oh, really? Ya think?!"

"Only you can handle him now, Bergamo," Basil muttered. "We should use Lord Sidra's Hakai ball and just—"

"You idiot, look at him!" Bergamo snapped. "He's not thinking. He's out for blood. And it's all YOUR fault, Lavender, you dumbass—"

"...." (Lavender was still passed out.)

Akuma vs. Bergamo – A Fight Against Time

I wasn't done.

Bergamo barely had time to react before I was in his face, my fist slamming into his gut.

He flew.

I mean, flew—like a shooting star, straight into a mountain.

"Cough… Not bad, kid… but too bad for you, this fight is one-sided." Bergamo smirked as he stood up, cracking his neck. "Don't blame us. Blame yourself for being the last of your race."

Wait… was he… getting bigger?

With every punch I landed, he bulked up.

"The hell?!" I growled, throwing another punch.

Bergamo smirked. "Ah, so you noticed? Every time you attack, I absorb the force and grow stronger. A little gift from Lord Sidra. So, go ahead, keep hitting me. You're just making me stronger, you dumb Saiyan."

Sht.*

I backed off, breathing heavily. My strength was feeding his. If I kept attacking recklessly, I'd only power him up further.

Then—

BOOM!

A massive Ki blast fired from his palm, heading straight for Cryella and Mom.

No time to think. Move.

I braced myself—

But something else moved first.

A headless body.

---

Ruffio's Return – The Fallen Rises

Ruffio's body—engraved with glowing cyan lines, like high-tech tattoos—blocked the blast.

Then, from his neck, his head grew back.

But it wasn't the same.

His face was metallic. His eyes, glowing. His voice, cold and robotic.

"You will not ruin my family, you degenerate piece of sh*t."

Bergamo's jaw dropped. "HUH?!?!"

I scrambled up from the rubble, staring in disbelief.

"Dad…?!" My voice cracked.

I barely had time to react before Ruffio—no, Android Ruffio—whipped his hand around and kicked me away like trash.

"Get away from us, Saiyan." His voice was lifeless. "You don't belong here anymore."

"Wha…?" My heart stopped.

"You were never truly one of us," he continued. "You were a coincidence. A burden. A mistake. Cryella wanted you. I never did. And now, everything that's happened… it's your fault."

I wanted to scream.

To deny it.

But I couldn't.

I felt my power slip away as my rage crumbled into something worse—loss.

For the first time, I didn't fight back.

Then, PAK!

Something slammed into my neck.

Darkness swallowed me.

Captured – A New Fate Begins

I woke up in space.

My hands were bound. My energy, sealed.

I was on their ship.

"Are we really letting them live?" Basil asked.

Bergamo smirked. "Of course not. Basil, throw the Hakai."

I couldn't move.

I could only watch.

The ship's screen displayed Planet Plant as Basil casually tossed a glowing orb of destruction down.

Seconds later—

BOOM.

A colossal, blinding explosion swallowed my home.

Everything.

Gone.

"This view is kinda addictive," Basil mused.

"Arghh, tell me about it," Lavender grumbled.

"Oh, you're finally awake?" Bergamo smirked.

Lavender scowled and kicked me. "Yeah, no thanks to this guy."

"Kick him again," Bergamo ordered.

"Happily."

Thud.

Darkness took me again.
