Mega Rumble!

finally, we're outside! and it was... dark? apparently, right at the exit/entrance off the cave, there is a light post, well it's night time... the tower of mastery is barely seen in the distance! and the tide is high, so we cannot fight the gym today since the only road towards the gym is by the shore... i guess our trouble is longer than i expected.

"it's... night time?" Gallade said

"(sigh) yeah" i replied sadly

"then... we should find somewhere to rest, right?" Gallade add

"aren't we about to buy a puff?" Lucario adds as well, i chuckled for a while

"yeah, we'll buy you your puff" i replied to Lucario

then after the talk, we began venturing down towards the city. after we're at the city, i begin searching for a store, the city has this ups and downs, there are places where i need to walk up or down (since this city is near a hill and the beach) this may take a while

after walking for a while, i take a look at the tower. it was big! the gym is thereby the way. if i remembered, the first pokemon that mega evolved was on that island, and it's a Lucario! but I'm not sure about that.

then we finally found the store, it was lighted in blue, the store is named Poke-Buff. naming has this symbol on the O part of Poke-Buff on where the O was replaced by a blue circular Aura ball, and there is a various amount of Poke-puff shown on glass, we went in while Gallade is waiting outside. i went into the store and see the storekeeper is using his compal, he didn't pay attention to his costumers, i came towards him then i notify him so that he notices my presence, then after i knocked at the table (well not really) then he looked at me, after putting his compal down, then he stood up. he was rather short, a bit shorter than Gallade. and the size of Lucario! then i looked a bit down on the storekeeper, kinda feel rude.

"what is it" he replied harshly, he seems to be annoyed at me

"uh... can i have some poke-puffs" i replied to the man, trying to be nice at him

"Yeah, which one do you want" he said, then i begin to take a look at some of the poke puffs that are put with the glass plane covering it. after taking a look at assortments of puff, i see an interesting one, the puff seems to be special. it was crimson-colored, the frosting is a bit redder. and half of it seems to be some white frosting as well (also, it was quite tall). the puff was called the 'Tower of Flavor', maybe it was referring to the Tower of Mastery, quite funny! i think it may have some similarity to the last one? so i decided to take that one for Lucario

"can i have the 'Tower of Flavor?'" i said to the shop keeper

"sure, you can have that" he said plainly, then i ordered a bunch more, the one that looks like a donut with caramel toppings, a sitrus flavored poke puff, and a blue-colored with a plain bun.

after buying the food, it was placed on a shopping bag that is colored blue, and Lucario is still staring at it while we're on our way to a hotel.

"What puff did you buy?" Gallade ask

"well i bought some, i have the special one for Lucario, while also i bought you a sitrus flavored one" i replied, and of course Gallade became un patient as well

"can i at least take a bite?" he said while he is reaching his paw to the bag that i was carrying, and with the response, i quickly moved it away from him.

"hey! we'll eat it after we have reached the hotel okay" i said to him, without realization, Lucario is already sniffing at the bag closely while i was bringing it away from Gallade.

"Hey!" then i bring the bag to the other side so that Lucario won't be sniffing at it anymore, he also made a... some sort of purring noise!? i didn't know he could do that?! (he also didn't talk since there are people around)

"i said we'll eat it after were at the hotel" i said to both of them, but then Gallade and Lucario are still trying to get the bag... in fact, they are working together! then i have enough of it. i quickly sprint towards the hotel, and they are chasing me! but they purposefully not running at full speed since that won't be fair ('fiuh' i was lucky)

after entering the 5 stars hotel, i pant near the accountant. after they catch up, they finally give up. the accountant in the neat formal clothe in color dark blue then said to me.

"are you okay?" she said

"yeah (panting) I'm fine" i said exhausted, then both of my friends stand beside me, i was scared that they may still try to take the snack, but luckily they seem to give up about it. so after taking a break, i talk to the accountant to stay for a while.

"can i have a stay in here for 13 hours prior" i asked the accountant

"of course!" she said, then after that, i asked for payment and bla bla bla money stuff. oh! i forgot to tell you why the Hotel is 5 stars, mainly because it has its own Pokemon center, a pool, helipad, VIP room, and an arena! but I'm not talking about details here, let's say that the hotel is amazing, but it was very expensive... like VERY expensive. but it will only count if you have a 24 hour more stay, so i only need to pay less.

after putting some stuff on the sheet-covered table, i decided to look around. apparently my payment cost less because i was the son of 'Dad', yeah basically my life is simple because of my dad... wow is he popular, the room is very nice. the smell of 'ocean escape', a personal living room with a kitchen/bar in one place, the big and wide glass window on the living room for the tower and ocean view, the big luxury bed on another room, a bunch of other beds for pokemon in the bedroom, a big bathroom with a bathtub and sprinkler shower from the other room by the bedroom, and a fridge! filled with nothing... but a cake? there is a letter at it? then i read the letter

it was nice... but i don't really like cake, Wait! it's baked flourless cake?! and its chocolate-almond flavor? there is no frosting... my FAVORITE type of cake! this is a nice gift from the hotel! though it was not necessary... but anyways, i bring the cake to the table on the living room (since there is no dining room) it was near the kitchen/bar, then when i sit at the sofa looking at the cake on the table right in front of me, i turned to see at the bar to see both Gallade and Lucario already rummaging the blue bag, then i see Gallade picked up the bright yellow poke puff with white frosting and a bunch of sitrus crumbs on top of it, i can see that Gallade taking a look at it for a while, then Quickly bites the frostings. then Gallade hummed joyfully at the bite.

"it's very delicious, thanks!" he said through telepathy while still eating it,

"where is mine?" Lucario said pointing the bag empty

"what, you mean this?" i said while showing him the Poke puff that i hid while bringing the cake to the table

"Hey!" he yelled, then he runs quickly towards me. after he jumped over the other sofa, i quickly blocked his face while his hand is still trying to reach the food while i was still sitting at the sofa (the sofa was very comfortable)

"um, can you ask nicely?!" i said to Lucario that is still trying to reach the puff, then he backed away a bit.

"(sigh) fine" he said giving up,

"can i have the snack... please!" he asked gently, then i giggled for a while,

"of course you can have, i bought it for you" then i handed him the poke puff, he didn't even take time, he just quickly bite at the half section, between the frosting and the puff. then his eye sparkled to the widest, he gives me the biggest smile i have ever seen, i was never so happy to give a treat to a friend before... i missed those old days, after looking at Lucario eating the puff joyfully, i decided to eat as well.

"Hmm... i need something to cut the cake" i said to my self silently, then Aegislash Pokeball suddenly opened, releasing Aegislash. then he hovers beside me

"Aegislash?" he said, then Gallade told me while giggling that he joked

"do you need a knife"did he really need to do that?

"you're a sword!" i said to him, then the rest of us chuckled while Lucario smiles, he didn't really understand the joke. after that fun, Aegislash hovers beside Gallade at the bar/kitchen talking to each other, while Lucario is sitting eating the poke puff, while i have done cutting the cake with an 'Actual' knife, then after putting the 1/10 piece on the plate that i prepared, i cut the edge with my spoon, then take that piece with the spoon, then i eat it... then...

"huh... it's like my 12th birthday cake... when they are still there" i said, with then Gallade and Aegislash look at me, then they mourn...

i woke up from the bed, i see Aegislash placed on the wall... he sleeps like that, after that i see Gallade sleeping on the other bed, then i decided to go up first. after getting up from the bed i see Lucario sleeping on an add up pokemon bed on the ground. i decided to go out and see the light, after getting out of the room carefully, i see the curtain blocking the big window, then i try to flick my finger... the first failed so i try again, it flicked. so then the curtain moves away, then a blinding light shines through the glass, then i try to adjust my eyes for the brightness, after a few seconds my eyes finally adjusted, then i see the tower, the tower with each half seem like a different tower, and the sea has turned into a path. the gym is now open... it's time to battle.

after we check out from the hotel, we went ahead to the beach, prepared to battle the gym (Aegislash is back at the Pokeball anyways) for what in front of us is the tower of mastery, the next Gym.

'Korrina'

the Rumble gym leader aka fighting type specialist... also the gym that allows us to mega evolve, though I do have a surprise for her, if we're allowed to?

then we went walking on the sandy path that was once the sea, it was quite unique.

"where did the water go?" Lucario asked, (there are no people here)

"The tide has lowered since it is daylight" I explain

"oh, okay" he replied

then after that we are right in front of the entrance, looking upon the tower is quite weird, the two different building styles together, I wonder who built this... maybe one present's the human and pokemon, then they merge to create such tower because of the bond? I'm just asking.

anyways we went in, also Aegislash might be good in here. i bet that none of Korrina friends be able to hurt Aegislash... most of them. after entering the building, there is this huge Lucario statue standing at a podium with people around, there is writing there at the podium, but i decided to skip it. i went on the stai-

what the?! there's... a lot of it, it was a spiral climb... it's very high!

this gonna take a while...

"why is it so tall?" Gallade answered

"uuhhh... tradition?" i replied blindly.

after climbing very high stairs, we finally reached the top. we're not tired... but it was a very long climb... well i am a bit tired, and why is it hot... is this place-

BOOM!

an explosion can be heard from the big old door near me... is something going on in there?

i decided to come in quietly... after opening it-

BOOM!

another explosion! and a burst of smoke instantly hits my face and the rest behind me because of the explosion in front of me... after i coughed out the smoke, i opened the door wider, i see a kid standing at the battle arena, he is wearing an item of formal clothing... also he had some Pokeball put on his hip, it looks like a trainer... kinda weird in that clothing. and a fainted star trim Furfrou on the arena... not such an effective pokemon for this Gym.

"my fabulous Furfrou... ruined!" the kid said, and yes. the Furfrou fur is dirty and messed up.

"maybe you shouldn't try to beat me with fabulosity" a feminine voice heard on the other side of the arena... it's Korrina! and a mega Lucario at the arena too!

the Lucario cream fur becomes longer, and its thighs are slimmer. he has more spikes on the back of its paws, which have turned crimson. he also has spikes on both of its feet, which have become crimson too. Its previously red eyes are now orange-colored. his aura-sensing appendages thing grows longer, and two of them are tipped in crimson. his shoulders also possess a spike each. his aura heightens throughout its body, which formed black markings on its blue fur.

i can see that he was radiated with aura... it has so many that it leaked?! that's the power of mega evolution!

"urgh... i hate you!" the kid yelled, then he put out his Pokeball and return the Furfrou back, then he sprinted towards me to exit the arena, then he bumps at me on the way out (quite rough actually), then Gallade growled angrily at the kid, he got surprised in which then he tripped then began rolling down the stairs.

"ggaahhh! uhh! aaahhh!" he screamed while rolling down the stairs comically,

"uh... sorry!" i yelled as he rolled down, also Gallade was sorry as well...

after the comical roll (in which kept going) i sighed, also another sigh right behind me (i think it unison) also a bright light was emitted right behind me for a while, then i turned to see Korrina standing at the arena with her Lucario, back to its normal form. also, he has a Lucarioite at his left wrist with Korrina having a key stone on hers as well.

"What a hard head" she said, as her Lucario noded

"um... hello" i said quietly to not really interrupt their talk

"oh! hi there" she said, then she skates her way towards me. after skidding right in front of me in which i flinched, then she stood powerfully right in front of me with Lucario as well.

"so! you're here to battle me!" she said strongly

"yeah! i challenge you for the Gym battle!" i said strongly as well

"i like the spirit!" then she takes a look at Gallade

"your partner look's powerful!" she said, then Gallade smiles proudly. then she takes a look at Lucario.

"and another Lucario, nice!" she smiled widely, with my Lucario waved happily at them. with Korrina's Lucario smiled and said something as well (he said "sup bro!") then i add.

"can i asked you something?"

"what is it?" she questioned

"can i use mega evolve as well?" i asked

"of course! but do you have the stone" she said

"yes, I do"

yes... my father bought me a key stone and the mega stone (Galladeite). it was my gift... before the accident...

"Okay... do you know how it works?" she asked

"well I do... kinda"this is the first time i actually wanted to try it.

"well then! I'll wait at the arena!"and thus both of them moved to the arena preparing as well

i kneeled over then put the bag in front of me, then i opened it and began searching for it... okay... berries... shards... map... ah! there it is! i picked up the two identical white bracelets with one a little bit more bigger with each has its own stone, the small one for me has the key stone embedded into it and the bigger one has the mega stone embedded as well, i gave the bigger one to Gallade (of course) and i put the small one on my wrist.

"you'll be battling later" i said as Gallade putting his own bracelet, he was a bit surprised for me saying that.

"Aegislash will be the first one" i add, Gallade was a bit upset but he accepts it.

"What is that for?" Lucario said to me quietly so that Korrina does not hear me from the distant,

"It's so that Gallade can mega evolve" i said quietly as well

"wait, he can evolve again"

"yeah, and you too, you'll be more stronger too!" i said a bit louder

then Gallade and i went to the arena while Lucario be spectating on the side of the arena

"Okay, I'm ready!" i said to Korrina

"then let's battle!" she said while showing one of her Pokeball, it opened and a Machamp comes out,

"Alright, Aegislah, Go!" i said, and then automatically my sword Pokeball opened with Aegislash appeared and ready to battle!

"uh oh" Korrina blurted, and machamp seemed to be scared as well,

"it's alright machamp, we can still win this!" she encouraged the Machamp, in which it worked. then with bravery, he yelled "Machamp!" and also flexed at Aegislah, with Aegislash only a bit offended since he is calm... somehow

"Alright! let's do this" i blurted as well

the Battle begins!

"use aerial ace!" (me)

"use dynamic punch" (Korrina)

we both said at the same time

then Aegislash and Machamp dashes to each other

it was very fast but with Aegislash a bit faster, but my question is. why did machamp use dynamic punch? Aegislash is immune to that attack

after they went close enough, Machamp tries to punch with both his right arm too Aegislash, but with Aegislash speed, he flew beside his punch towards the left then strike the part of his sword on his back while still flying forward, then with the momentum he quickly flies upwards while the Machamp is still trying to regain his composure because of the attack, then after Aegislash is high enough. he dives towards Machamp with such high speed that Machamp wasn't still ready, then Aegislash bashes his shield at machamp head so hard that his leg was in the ground, then Aegislah flies back towards his latest position (which is right in front of me) then we waited for the machamp to got out.

when Machamp sense has returned, he sees that his leg was actually stuck, so he pushes four of his arms to the ground so that he can get out

"come on, get out of there!" Korinna said. we waited for him to get out since we want them to have a chance, then he manages to get out from the ground, but while getting out, he also jumps upwards towards Aegislash!

"Aegislash! use scared sword!" i yelled quickly, then Aegislash sword section glowed light blue and grows! then he swings it towards the machamp that is still mid-air!

"grab it!" Korrina yelled, then Machamp grabs the sword, and he was stopped?!

"do it!" she yelled again, then Machamp spins backward in mid-air still grabbing Aegislash, then he smashes him towards the ground! to be honest... that is a smart move...

but not enough!

"now do it to him!" i yelled quickly, then Aegislash swings his still powered sword with Machamp is still grabbing at it towards backward as well, then now Machamp has flung towards the other side of the Arena, then landed hard right in front of Korrina!

Machamp is KO!

"wow!" Korrina said, impressed. then she grabs machamp Pokeball and returns machamp,

"you did well" she said to the Pokeball

"What a move is that!" she said impressed

"yours too!" i said to her as well, i heard that my Lucario spectating cheering at me,

"thank's, now this is fun! Hawlucha! come out!" she said, then now she used another Pokeball, then a Hawlucha comes out,

"Lucha!" he posed strongly at us... until he sees what he was facing against, then he backed a bit

"it's ok, i got an idea" she said trying to give hope, Hawlucha was a bit hesitant, but he agreed with her

"I'm excited to see it"this is more exciting than last time!

"Alright! Hawlucha fly upwards!" she said, then Hawlucha flies to the air cool looking (it was their nature) i was expecting for an incoming attack, so i waited

"Alright! now dive!" she yelled, now Hawlucha is diving towards Aegislash, i think they are trying to make Aegislash attack, so i choose to protect himself

"get ready" i said to Aegislash, Gallade is tempted to see what happened next

"uh..." she paused... i knew it!

"use sky drop!" she said quickly, then Hawlucha dived faster towards Aegislash

"King's shield," i said, then the screen was made in front of Aegislash with his shield prepared, then Hawlucha rammed the screen, it didn't break, then he bounced back a bit, uncontrolled. he is vulnerable!

"finish this with aerial ace!" i yelled, then Aegislash flies towards the unprepared Hawlucha

"watch out!" Korrina yelled to Hawlucha, but it's too late, Aegislash bashes towards him. then he got launched to the air, then he landed right at the same spot where Machamp landed and fainted

"Sorry!" Korinna said to Hawlucha

"lu... cha" he said weakly, then she returns him to the Pokeball as well

"look's like the plan failed" i said smirking

"heh, yeah. you got me!" she said

"Alright, it's your turn" she said to her Lucario, then he nodded and steps towards to arena.

"you will battle now" is said to Gallade, he nods excitedly and steps in beside Aegislash

"you did a very good job... 'Curtana' "I said Aegislash name, and yes that is his nickname... i will be calling him that for now, if you're curious what does his name means, it means 'Shortened'.

quite fitting, right?

he expresses his happiness with his eyes, then i brought out his Pokeball, then return him.

"ready?" i said to Gallade, he looked at me and nodded. It's time for the mega battle

"let's hope this works!" i said as i pressed the key stone on the bracelet on my left wrist- it suddenly glows! then Gallades mega stone glows as well! then a bunch off beam started coming out from my key stone! i feel something weird in my head, but i shrugged it off, i still tried to keep my composure since it felt like I'm launching something from my wrist, then the beam hit's Gallade, then suddenly he was in a sphere! i can't see what is happening to him! but then it suddenly hardens... wait, is he trapped?! but then it started to crack! then suddenly it exploded revealing Gallade... no... it's mega Gallade! its entire becomes white. Red plates emerge on its arms, the blue head crest is slightly longer, the spikes on its head are elongated and gain two cape-like protrusions on the back! he is almost different! after he changed then he kneeled down on the ground shaking? i can hear him groaning a little

"are... you okay" my head is a little bit hurt... i need to get used to this! he turned his head towards me... i can see he's in pain... what is going on

"rrgghh!" he groaned, he's bearing... something

"hey! calm down! try to cooperate with it!" Korrina yelled, helping us... she's right. the more i doubt about it, the more painful it gets!

"Gallade... we can do this!" i said to him, after a while, he slowly stood up, he's not shaking anymore. then he turns around and looks at me again smiling... this time he's fine... and my head does not hurt anymore!

it worked!

"whoa... that is... cool, are you okay?" i asked Gallade, then he nodded at me slowly

"It looks like you got it!" Korrina said

"Now it's my turn! Lucario! mega evolve!" then she pressed the key stone, the same thing happened! but now the Lucario changed into his mega evolution! i can feel the aura bursting! this is insane! i have never felt such power before! this kind of phenomenon is dangerous! only the one who is wised enough could use this!

this might have been the battle I've been looking for!

"now let's start!" Korrina said prepared, the mega battle commence!

"Gallade, let's do this!" i said, then we're preparing for incoming attack with Gallade in a defensive position.

"Lucario use Aura Sphere!" Korrina yelled then Lucario used both of his paw to form a ball of aura, while he was charging it, the Ball is so big that it went through his arms! then he launched it towards Gallade! the sheer speed is insane! i quickly ordered Gallade (through telepathy) to use protect, then Gallade made a huge dense screen! then the ball hits the screen in front of Gallade, it exploded! the explosion is so big that we can't even see the other side of the arena because of the smoke! the blast also blew me a little bit, after Gallade made the screen disappear, then suddenly! Lucario dashed through the smoke with a glowing rod bone on both of his paws! with instinct i tell Gallade to use Psycho cut to block and attack, Gallade left arm glowed on red and swings at Lucario, Lucario near enough so he hit Gallades left arm with his bone on his right arm blocking the attack! but with one of Lucario's arm still free, he lunges the other bone rod on his left paw at Gallade! we are not ready for the sudden attack so Lucario hit's Gallade at his gut with the other bone rod! while Gallade got backed by the attack, Lucario swings his right arm and hits Gallade head with the bone attack! then he jumped backward and throws both bones at Gallade! the attack hit's Gallade and he was launched by the attack then fell backward! then Lucario stands right in front of Gallade who is still on the ground! then he jumped and throws a lot of bone rod at him! it landed around him and stuck to the ground... Gallade is stuck from his head to his leg! he can't move!

"finish it with power-up punch!" Korrina yelled at the distance

while Lucario is still in the air, he quickly dives towards Gallade on the Ground preparing to punch him!

...

is this over...

am i going to lose for the first time?

no...

NOT NOW!

"GET OUT OF THERE!" i yelled

then suddenly Gallade disappeared from the ground! Lucario Landed the attack on the ground with punching it, he punched the ground so hard that it destroys the ground and made an explosion! Lucario got confused about where he went to... he started looking around...

"where is he?" Korrina said confused

"BEAT HIM!" i yelled again, then suddenly Gallade dropped right on top of Lucario, he pinned him on the ground! then Gallade raised his arm ready to punch!

"RRRAAAGGGH!" Gallade roared at Lucario with rage. then he uses Close combat on the Pinned Lucario! then he punched him repeatedly at a very high speed! over and over again! it sounded like a Gatling gun!

"Lucario!" Korrina yelled, worried at lucario

"That's enough!" i yelled at Gallade, then Gallade stopped punching him... the ground is destroyed... Lucario is fainted and returned to his normal form...

We won...

but...

this feels different...

then Gallade Backed of stepping away from the Lucario. then he stares at me, with a shocked face... then suddenly he glowed and went back to his old form... then he dropped to the ground!

"Gallade!" i screamed, i run towards him and picked his head up... he is unconscious! he wasn't even injured...

WHAT HAPPENED!

then i see Korrina dashing towards me, and her Lucario getting up beside me... he seems fine, then my Lucario jumped and begin running towards me

"Gallade!?" i screamed

"Hey! it's ok!" Korrina said to me

"lucar!" her Lucario said behind me

"we've been through this before" she said calmly

"rargh!?" my Lucario said in worried, while also trying not to reveal his secret. nice idea too

"Gall-" i paused...

"Alex... wake up" i pleaded
