Chapter 7

LINDSELL'S POV:

When I arrived at the address that P'Ocean gave me, I immediately parked my car and got out of it. After I closed the door of my car, I immediately looked at the building standing in front of me. It was so big, no wonder P'Ocean was rich but at the same time, he was just a simple man outside. I just smiled and sighed.

"Lindsell!" Someone called me which made me looked at his direction instantly. Right there and then, I saw P'Ocean on his casual clothes. He was wearing a black V-neck shirt, black pants and a white converse. I was mesmerized by his features but at the same time, I was sad because I can remember someone's face on him. Is that even possible? I don't know anymore. "Hey, are you okay?" I snapped back to reality when a hand touched my shoulder.

I looked at him and smiled faintly. "Yes, Kuya." I softly answered.

He squints his eyes because of my reply. "Are you sure?" He asked again so I nodded and smiled at him wider so that he will knew that I was really okay. He seems satisfied about it so he nodded afterwards. "So, let's go. I want you to see and examine our hospital. Just tell me if it's okay with you, then we will put your mom in a VIP room." He told me which became a reason for me to smile at him and he lead me inside.

He tour me around the hospital and I found out that this hospital has a beautiful garden, a big canteen and the rooms were too big for a one patient. The doctors and nurses seems so accommodating and warm people, that's why I am okay with this hospital. Sometimes the two of us also talk about my mom and her state especially how this hospital works, he even ensures me that their hospital were one of the best. I can see that since I saw many patients and people here inside and the staff were casually greeting him each time we passes by.

"So, what do you think?" He asked after we went around and we were already leaving the hospital.

I smiled at him. "I'm satisfied, can I bring my mom tomorrow here?" I asked softly.

"Of course, I will inform my staff about it." His response made me smile even more.

"Thank you, P'Ocean." I told him. He just casually put his hand in his pocket and nod his head to me.

"I'm glad that I can help you. By the way, don't worry too much because your mom will be fine." He has a straight face but his eyes gave me reassurance which made my heart flutter. I was so happy since I can be able to help my mom too.

I just nodded to him. "P'Ocean." I called his name hesitantly. The truth is, I was shy to asked him out to eat but I want to repay him for his help so I am doing it now.

His eyebrows furrowed. "Yes?" He asked me.

I grinned awkwardly and sighed. "Can you eat with me?" I asked nervously. "I just wanna do something to repay you for your kindness." I added with full of hope in my eyes.

He looked at me for a seconds and he blink his eyes so many times. "Are you okay, P'?" I asked him worriedly.

He cleared his throat and nodded his head as an answer. "Yeah, but you know that you don't need to do this." He replied casually.

I smiled wider. "I insist, P'!" I exclaimed happily and dragged him with me to the parking lot. "P', do you have your car with you?" I asked him and stopped for a moment which he did also.

"Yeah, actually it is parked beside yours." He answered and I just nod, If that's the case then we can not be in a car together.

"Do we need to use two cars separately?" I asked him. He nodded his head and walked towards the car beside mine.

"Where do you wanna eat?" He asked and turned his body in my direction.

I thought for a moment before I flick my finger when I had one in mind. "Just follow my car, P'." I respond and he just shrugged his shoulder and grinned at me before entering his own car. I just shook my head and a faint smile appear in my lips before I enter my car too.

I drive to my favorite restaurant and parked my car again in the parking lot which he did also. When I came out, I immediately smiled when I saw this restaurant, how many years have I not been able to go here? I just sighed and a flashed of many happy memories filled my mind. I have not been back here for several years since that accident happened but now I am back again. That happened a long time ago, I know he would not want me to live in the past.

"Let's get inside." P'Ocean told me and I flinched a little because I didn't even notice that he was now beside me.

I looked at him and smiled before walking with him inside. He opened the door for me.

"Good evenin--" She didn't finished what she was about to say when her eyes landed onto me. "Sir Lindsell!" He mumbled my name with a faint gasped and shocked were written all over her face.

I smiled faintly. "Good evening, Jessa." I greet her calmly.

She blinked her eyes for a few times and looked at the man beside me. "You are together with him again?" He asked me with a confused expression. My smile faded and I looked at the man beside me hesitantly, I could say that he was clueless. So, before she can spit out something not right, I meddle immediately.

"Can I talk to you for a moment?" I asked her calmly and her eyebrow furrowed but she still nod.

"Okay." She simply replied and looked behind her. "Lisa, can you take over for a second and lead this man to a table for two?" She asked another girl.

"All right, I'll take care of it." She smiled in response and looked at P'Ocean. "This way, sir." He said this but P' was still looking at me curiously.

I smiled warmly to him. "I will follow you later, Jessa and I just need to talk for a moment." I told him. Without farther discussion, he just nodded silently and walked with Lisa to a table.

When she disappeared, I immediately took Jessa out and took her to the back of the restaurant. I looked at her sadly and sighed.

"What's going on, Lindsell? Is that him or is my vision just deceiving me?" She asked me.

I shook my head. "I don't know, I know they are look alike but he is very different from that person. So, please don't mention anything to him about that man. I am not yet ready to tell anyone else." I calmly stated.

Jessa became my friend because I was always here in this restaurant since I was in high school. We became close also since one time, I am going to have a date with my boyfriend but the thing is, he did not show up and I waited for a long time until she approached me. She talked to me and I was on the verge of crying and being angry but she console me at that time. After that, whenever we had an argument, he was always the one I went to to express resentment. I even told her our love story and how my dad opposed our relationship.

She sighed and hugged me. "I'm glad that after so many years, you came back here." He whispered softly in my ear. I hugged her back and then let go afterwards.

I smiled genuinely. "Thank you, Jessa." I happily told her.

She just nodded and became serious afterwards. "But remember, do not stick to him too much. If the person we both know is really gone and he is not that, it is better that you do not fall for him just because they look alike. If you fall for him, make sure that you really love him and not because you remember someone else because of him. " She explained while I blush and shook my head.

"What are you talking about? We are just friends!" I retorted. She rolled her eyes and chuckled.

"As you say so. Let's go back." She told me and I just smiled at her before we went back inside. When we entered, we instantly separate ways as I walked near the table where P'Ocean was seating.

"I'm sorry about that, P'." I apologize to him but he just stared at me and smiled faintly.

"That's okay, shall we order?" He asked and I nod happily. We ordered our food and eat together while getting to know each other.

Well, maybe it's not that bad to be friends with him. After all, he was different from that person.

CADWELL'S POV:

"Where did you go, last time?" I asked the man in front of me. He scratched the back of his neck and looked at me hesitantly.

"I sleep in my friend's apartment." He answered. I squint my eyes and looked at him suspiciously.

"I called all your friends and they told me that you weren't there." I told him with a deadpan tone. "Care to explain?" I asked sarcastically.

He sighed. "I'm sorry, P'. I was really at my friend's apartment and you don't know him." He answered in a calm voice.

"What do you mean? And who is he?" I asked while looking at him blankly.

"He was someone you don't need to know." He answered while grinning like an idiot. "Don't worry, I am fine." Argh! This kid is really a pain in the ass. I just rolled my eyes on his antics.

"I will consider this but next time, tell me where you are going. You are my responsibility, Ethereal. You are also the next heir to your father's throne so I should really protect you with everything I can." I told him with a seriousness in my voice. I was his personal protector, a friend and I always treat him as my younger brother since I am just an only child.

He sighed. "You knew that I could take care of myself, P'. You also knew that you don't have to sacrifice your life for me. I maybe an heir to the throne but it seems that, my mom will take it all from me." He mumbled in a serious tone also. "Of course, I will not let her do that. My father is a good man and I do not want his people to suffer more under the hands of my greedy mother." He added coldly which made us fall into silence.

The truth is, he and his mother weren't in a good terms since we were young. I can't blame him since I don't like his mother either and I am thankful that he is not a selfish bastard like her. I'm sorry for the word but that is the truth.

"I know, I will help you no matter what since my dad told me that your mafia organization was facing chaos right now." I calmly respond to him. "We should make a move." I told him and crossed my arms in front of my chest. He nodded. "Tell me the details tomorrow." I added and stood up from my seat.

He furrowed his eyebrows. "Where are you going?" He asked with a clueless expression.

I chuckled. "Somewhere, away from a brat like you." I answered jokingly and walked away.

"I'm not a brat!" He replied in an annoyed tone but I didn't mind him at all. I walked out from his house and entered my car, I even gave a signal for the security to open the gate which they instantly followed.

I drove my car to the nearest library and when I entered on it, I was greeted by a silence even though some students were here too. They even looked at me with so much adoration in their eyes but I just looked at them blankly since I am not interested. I lead my way to the bookshelves since I don't want to be an eye candy anymore. I looked for a book which can attract my interest and fortunately, I found one not until my eyes landed on a short man who is trying to pick a book above a shelf.

I was just looking at him silently not until I saw how tired he is while reaching the book. I don't know what possess me but my feet instantly move and before I knew it, I was already reaching the book behind him. He immediately face me with a wide eyes and right there, I realized that we are just centimeter apart and he was now leaning his back on the shelf while I was in front of him.

Through this, I roam my eyes around his beautiful face. He has this doe innocent eyes behind a round glasses and a calm vibes around him which made me looked at him for a few more minutes not until someone cleared her throat near us.

I immediately back away from him and we both looked at the direction of the woman who was now looking at as with a blank expression.

"Please, if you are going to do something unnecessary, don't do it here." She gently rebuked us. I looked at the man beside me and I notice how flustered he was. His face were burning including his ears while looking at the floor.

"But, we are not doing that, ma'am." I tried to explain but she just signed his hand for me to stop so I did.

She sighed and looked at the both of us. "I am not against your sexuality and even your relationship but you must do these things behind doors and not in a public places like this." She retorted while caressing her temple. She looks so stress, so me and this man beside me looked at her with a deadpan expression. Geez, this woman was weird. She looked at us again and turned her back away from us.

"Kids nowadays!" She mumble until she was nowhere to be seen. I turned my gaze to the man next to me and just handed the book to him.

He accepted it slowly with hesitation on his eyes and I think, it was kinda cute even though he looked like a nerd with a big glasses he was wearing. He fix his glasses and smiled at me faintly.

"Thank you, P'Cadwell." He stated in a calm tone.

I stared at him calmly too. "You're welcome, Sun. If you need anything, you can come to me." I respond to this.

"Yes, I will do that. Thank you again for the help, P'." He mumbled with a smile on his face. We just stand there while glancing at each other for how many minutes and I feel like an idiot since I don't know what to say anymore.

"Do you want to read with me?" I asked hesitantly after a few more minutes when my head already work and he nodded his head slowly. He was a little bit shy and I just scratched the back of my head awkwardly. "Let's go, let's find a seat." I told him and we walked together to the nearest table from us. After that, we both filled with silence, not an awkward one but a calm and comfortable one.

I was reading but I cannot stop myself from glancing at him for a short second and focus on my book again. We stayed that way not until I felt hunger so I closed my book slowly which made him looked at me.

"Are you done reading?" He asked while his eyebrows furrowed.

I nodded my head. "Yes and I was now hungry." I replied and looked at my watch. It was already a dinner time and I turned my attention to this man in front of me again. "You want to eat with me or are you still going to stay here?" I asked him. As much as I don't want to leave him here, but I really need to go and eat.

He smiled. "I will stay for now, P'. You can go and eat." He replied calmly.

I just sighed and stood up from my seat. I fish my phone out of my pocket and gave it to him which made him look at me with a confused expression.

"Put your number there and text me back when you get home. I want to make sure that you will going to be fine." I explained softly to him. He was shocked a little because of what I said and looked at me hesitantly. "Please, I just want to make sure." I mumbled with so much sincerity in my voice since I am afraid that something will happen to him. I don't know why I feel this but maybe because we will soon become classmates and I am also his senior. He sighed afterwards and slowly accepted my phone and put his number there.

After typing, he gave it back and I smiled at him. "Thank you, P'. Be careful." I just nodded my head as a respond and walked away from him.

I just sighed and drove my car to my apartment. I just ordered a meal from a fast food restaurant because I was too lazy to move. Luckily, a few minutes later, the delivery boy arrived and I ate the food. I was in the middle of munching when I suddenly remembered Sun so I immediately took my cellphone to text him.

To: Sun

Are you home? Eat your dinner when you do.

After I sent the message, I continue my dinner while glancing at my phone from time to time. After eating, my phone vibrated so I immediately open the inbox.

From: Sun

I already did, P'. Thank you for the concern. I am now eating.

I smiled and I breath a sighed of relief because of that and we exchange some messages after that until we both bid our good byes since it was already late. I was grinning like an idiot before I dive in to sleep and everything went black.
