Chapter 219 : Backfire

Hong Liu opened her eyes, wincing at the strain in her body and she was unable to find her voice for a second. The splitting headache that she experienced when she freed Guan Yu dimmed a little and she had only one image of her and Guan Yu in front of her, not different images nor situation.  Guan Yu sit up looking at her. She senses her mind in one focus in the eerie silence of the black dessert she breathes easy. The heavy wind stopped and the black sand settled down.

"You shouldn't have done that," Guan Yu said looking at the whirlpool that closed itself.

"It doesn't look tha.....Ah!" Hong Liu yelps and the ground beneath them  both stumble but manage to stand on their feet, the red river ripped itself open raising above and Hong Liu gasps in horror as black smoke spreads out a dark aura like in a sea storm in the sky and demons after demons started to appear.

"That's what I was saying..." Guan Yu said.
