Set off in the year of 2018, in the capital of Manila, the group of 7 friends, together with the office worker's brother, a popular actress, and a painter, were mystically followed by a person wearing a black hoodie. 

Everyone has a secret to keep, but when someone tries to peek into the gloom, you will never know how dark they are.

I originally entitled this story "Diyes" which means "Ten" in Latin words. It also released this story in the year 2018 as an unofficial/ school project film on the university premises of Pamantasan ng Cabuyao. 

Together with the author herself — that's me — the story's arranged with Razil Jane Mamplata and Chris Joshua Gonio as the main scriptwriters for the film. 

However, the book was written by me myself with many additional scenes that are not shown in the school film.

Ten Darkest Secrets (Betrayer Series Book #1)

August 4th, the year 2018. Saturday.

Nearly 2 weeks after Katrina Fajardo went missing.

18 hours after Dominador Gomez went missing.

Sergeant Kim was surprised with what she said and they were all stood silent in their places. The officers pulled off their fingers from the trigger, careful not to slip, as Lieutenant Lirio was stunned at his place.

Lieutenant Jacob was opening his mouth slightly as Tristan asked something that bothered them all. Tristan snickered and mumbled, "Who is the X?"

Sergeant Kim tilted her head to one side as she averted her eyes towards the officers. Lieutenant Jacob was still stunned at his place and didn't know what to do. He huffed some air as he took another step and Tristan also did the same thing. Their hearts skipped a beat as they heard the stones of the wall frame cracking as Tristan moved his feet closer to the edge.
