The one who was managing the ambulance helped too as they both hoised Abbey out of the backside of the car. Abbey was huffing some air as streaks of blood were starting to creep their way up on her skin, indicating an infection through the area where the bullet took its place, and Carmela just covered her mouth with her hands. 

Zoey was crying as Abbey laid down on the stretcher in the most comfortable way while Matthew ran down the steps from where he had been. He stopped behind Carmela as the three of them sprinted up inside the emergency room, following the health professionals inside, assisting every doctor that came in the way.
