The moonlight was reminiscing and peeking over at the windows by the private ward. The beeps of the machine were evident as a nurse stood by the side railings of the hospital bed, checked the vital signs, and wrote them down on the clipboard. She looked at Abbey's nasal cannula and made sure that the oxygen level that was passing through the tubes was right at the minutes that ticked by.

She was still sleeping without even making a noise, the cast was around on her wrist, and she was still unconscious. The nurse prayed that she will be conscious at any time now, and she just sighed. The nurse tucked in the blanket close to her shoulders and smiled a little. She walked outside of the private ward and closed the door.
