Unknown Enemy

The group approaches the backside of the small castle. What is seen is a big gate, with no guards in sight. The gate is always closed in the back compared to the front. Levi walks up to the gate, and turns around looking at everyone.

"So this is where we make our final stand, is everyone ready."

"Yes" Everyone says.

"Let's get to it." Yusuke says.

"Ok, once we bust through this door we will be in the back garden. We want to make our way through the back door. Once we are inside we need to look for Kerem."

"How are you going to bust through the door? Wouldn't you make too much noise?" Lilith says.

"I can easily carve out a hole in this gate so don't worry… Okay, so now that we are all ready just make sure you don't go anywhere alone. We don't want anyone dying alright!" Levi turns around facing the gate. He cloaks his hand in dark aura and starts cutting at the gate quickly. After just a split second a hole appeared in the gate. The piece of the gate that split off no longer to be seen in sight. It's like he just deleted part of the gate.

"What did you just do?" Kana says.

"Nothing really. Now let's get moving. We don't want to drag this on for longer than we need to." Levi pushes through the hole, with everyone following behind him. They soon approach the garden, which was massive in size. You could see many beautiful purple and orange flowers spread throughout the garden. Many hedges blocked the path towards the house.

"Wow, this beautiful place is bigger than I imagined. Quite fitting for the richest person in the city." Lilith says.

"I know what a beautiful garden, I wouldn't mind living here." Kana says.

"Yes, yes. Now let's keep moving, we don't want to waste more time." Levi walks away making his way through the garden, with everyone following behind.

"Can't he me a little more happy" kana says. Levi hears her but decides to ignore her. They go through the maze-like garden for what feels like an eternity.

"Ugh where are we going? Why don't we just cut through the hedges." Kana says.

"Because that would make too much noise destroying all these hedges, we don't want every guard in this castle to be on us when we are stuck in the garden."

"Well then we take on all the guards."

"Damn you are annoyingly optimistic." Levi walks around the corner checking for any guards. He spots two guards walking away from their location. He signals for Lilith to follow him.

"On my count we take out the guards. You get the left one. I got the right." Levi whispers while the two slowly walk up behind the two guards. He puts up his hand and counts down with his fingers. On one,the two of them attack the guards. Levi chokes the right one to death, while Lilith stabs the left guard. Levi signals for the rest of the group to follow that hid around the corner.

"Good job." Levi says

"Thanks." Lilith replied

"Now let's keep making our way through, we are almost there."

-Front of Ilagend, battlefield.-

Amelia, Milena, and the knights of Sanctuary are seen fighting an intense battle with the Black Council, and trolls. Black Council knights, trolls, and Sanctuary knights dead bodies could be seen lying everywhere. The ground dyed red.

"Damn." Amelia was breathing hard, kneeling on the ground from the constant fighting. She glances at the troll charging at her, her movements getting a little sluggish dodges the attack. Her hand glows red. punching a hole through the trolls back. She then kneels down again breathing hard.

"I just need a little break." She then stands up, looking around to see how many knights are left. "Dammit." She clenches her teeth in anger. "This is all my fault, sending all these people to their death… All I can do to repay them is fighting to the death too." She sprinted over to anyone that needed help at all times. Jumping from enemy to enemy, trying her best to stop as many casualties as possible. As she is fighting Milena is also trying her best to prevent as many deaths as possible. Two trolls charge at Milena.

"Tsk" Milena clenches her teeth, "Two at once. It doesn't matter how many there are of you, I will keep fighting." The left troll swings his sword at her. Milena blocks the fierce attack with her toughened scaly arms. Pushing him back barely, from how strong trolls are she struggled a lot. The right troll then tries to go in for an attack but Milena is too quick. She charges up an attack and slashes diagonally through the troll, cutting him. His torso starts sliding off from the clean cut through the body. Milena then turns around facing the other troll.

"Your tur…" Milena looked down at her stomach seeing a blade piercing her. The sword gets pulled out and she drops to the ground. She looks behind her seeing a cloaked tall man. He wore a black cloak, black pants and shoes. Looking behind the man she could see the troll she just took out was fine.

"Who." She coughs up blood trying to speak. "Who are you. What did you do." Barely being able to see the man's face, you can see a slight smile on his face.

"Who am I? Well I am just a mere spectator... I just got. What do you say… a little bored." The man says while smiling sinisterly,

"That doesn't tell me shit." Milena can be seen burning her wound to stop the bleeding. She then stands back up using her sword to support her. Now standing she points her sword at him. "Tell me… Who are you!"

"Ahahaha… Fine, it isn't like knowing who I am is going to solve anything.... My name is Vunoth… Vunoth Valana. Remember my name well." He uncovers the hood covering his face and head. Revealing his face he had black hair, a black beard, and red eyes.

"Now that I have introduced myself, why don't you do the same."

"Tsk... Fine… My name is Milena…"

"Milena… That is all..? Oh come on, that isn't your full name… Tell me."

"Why should I have to tell you !?"

"Oh you don't." Vunoth says while pacing back and forth, with the trolls were waiting and watching. Not interrupting once like they were scared. "You see I already know who you are… Milena Imayn."

"That is not my name."

"Oh is it not… Then explain the magic you were using… Come on you aren't very good at hiding it. Only the royal family has magic like that. Princess of Gothalgreah...." Vunoth begins to smirk. "Now what brings someone like you here. It really isn't like the royal family just to leave their region to help others."

"It isn't none of your business why I am here. I choose to do whatever I want. Why are you here? You don't look like you are part of the Black Council, Who are you really…?" Milena looked very suspicious of Vunoth. "And what is up with that magic. I killed that troll, how is he alive?!"

"Wow a lot of questions... Sorry miss, but I have no reason to answer you when you don't give me an answer. Just know we are on no one's side. I am merely here to spectate."

"We? Spectate, but you attacked me!"

"I was bored, and you were so vulnerable!" Vunoth starts to laugh. "Don't worry we don't need you yet."

"We..? Why do you keep saying we?" Vunoth turns around ignoring her walking away. "Not going to answer me huh?" Milena charges at Vunoth and swings her sword at him. The troll then blocks her swing protecting him. Vunoth then turns his head looking back at Milena struggling against the troll.

"It was nice meeting you... Milena. Imayn." He then begins to walk away. Milena finally pushing the troll back, discovers Vunoth has vanished.

"Dammit!" She yells in anger. "Who the hell was that guy. I have a feeling I shouldn't have let him escape." The trolls readies himself for another attack. Milena's flames burning hotter from her rage she cloaks her sword with flames. The troll swings at her and she dodges it, but the troll swipes at her again when she steps to the side. She blocks the powerful attack pushing her backwards. She then cloaks her whole body in flames, gaining more strength from her incredibly hot flames she pushes back the sword and stabs the trolls right in the heart piercing all the way through. She pulls the sword out and the troll drops to the floor.

"Now stay dead this time." Milena turns around looking at the other troll that is just standing there. She looked menacing, staring at the troll. With most of her body cloaked in flame and dragon scales.

"Bastard!" The troll watching his friend die in front of him, screams. He then charges at her in rage. Milena readying herself, the trolls sent out multiple punches. She managed to dodge them with ease since trolls are much slower. She goes in for an attack, but the troll blocks it. He pushes her back and then slams the ground making the ground crack. A rock shoots up out of the ground where Milena was standing sending her flying in the air, hitting the ground hard.

"Gahh... " Milena screams out in pain. "Damn that hurt… Shit this troll is different from the others." The troll was different looking. He was more of a red color instead of the normal grey. He wore a brown tattered shirt over his buff body. The troll walked up to her, grabbing Milena by her head, and picking her up.

"And here I thought dragonkin were supposed to be strong." The troll laughed in a groggy voice.

"Well you thought correctly." Milena then starts to heat up her body. So hot it would melt your hand if you touched her.

"AHHHH!" The troll yells out in pain from the immense heat. He drops her not being able to take the pain. Milena then steps backwards to put a little distance between them two.

"God damn you!" The troll yells out while sprinting at Milena. His fist glows dark brown, the ground starts to shake beneath them… Rocks then come flying up covering the trolls hand.

"I thought trolls weren't very good with magic."

"Well you were extremely mistaken. Too many people underestimate us, today is where it stops." The troll says readying himself for an attack… Then charging at her with an angry look on his face. His hands, even though they are covered in rock start glowing dark brown. Milena confidently takes the attack head on. The attack sends her flying backwards, not being able to defend the strong attack.

"Bluh." She hits the ground hard not being able to catch herself, puking up blood from the incredible impact. She starts to stand back up in a hurry seeing the troll charging for another attack.

"Shit... I'm going to die if I don't take this seriously." She cloaks her sword again in her hot flames. She puts herself in a different stance. The troll punches her, she dodges this time.

[Fire Dragon Sword: Slash] She sends a fire slash cutting right through both of the trolls arms. Both fall right off leaving him armless now.

"AHHHHH!" The troll screams out in agony falling to his knees. "You bastard!" Milena walks up to the trolls putting her sword up against his neck.

"Any last words." She says with a serious look on her face.

"Die!" The troll's body starts glowing dark brown, smashing the ground with his head he makes rocks rise up instantly. Milena getting scratched up. Luckily her tough scaly body protected her from more harm. Smoke covering the area finally clears revealing the troll is just fine, but different. He covered his whole body in rocks now. Also replacing his two arms that got sliced off with rocks.

"Tsk… Shit I should have just killed him. This might be harder than I anticipated." Milena says with a worried look.

-Special Division, Back door to the small castle.-

"Finally we made it!" Levi says out of breath.

"I told you if we cut through the hedges it would have been a lot easier." Kana says with a smirk.

"Can you shut up, now let's get inside." Levi says looking annoyed.

"Hm!" Kana looks away. They all walk in through the back entrance of the place. Entering a wide open living space. The ceilings were very high up with many couches and chairs for sitting. The begin walking into the center of the room.

"Wow! How beautiful." Lilith says looking around the place.

"Sure is, way more bright colors then where I have lived." Yui says.

"Let's move. The person we are looking for should be upstairs."

"Upstairs." Yusuke whispers, thinking to himself. "I'll take him out, don't worry." Yusuke then sprints up ahead.

"Yusuke! Wait don't go alone!" Levi yells but Yusuke ignores him disappearing around the corner. "Dammit. We need to follow him." They all sprint after Yusuke… Soon getting stopped by some appearing around the corner.

"Unexpected guests, welcome to our house." The man standing in front of them was wearing a black outfit with a dark blue belt going across his chest. He had grey hair, with white-grey eyes. His sword was hanging from his side. "What brings you here?"

"We have urgent business."

"And can I assume this urgent business involves us." The man says taking out his sword, glowing with gold. He gives off incredible and immense power. "Well what's it going to be. Are you going to attend to your business."

"Shit, this guy seems strong." Levi whispers to himself. He then looks behind him. "The rest of you go on ahead… Hurry!" Everyone sprints towards the man trying to go around him.

"Hold on right there children." He cloaks his sword with a brighter gold color, striking down at everyone.

[Lightning: Beam] A fast beam of lightning comes out his sword heading right towards the group. Levi just in time negates the attack with his black glowing hands.

"Go!" Yui, Lilith, Reisa, Kana,Urumi, and Rinji all rush towards the direction to where the stairs are.

"Don't die!" Yui says

"Tsk." The man clenches his teeth in anger. "What did you just do."

"Just a little taste of dark magic."

"Ahahaha. Ok this is going to be interesting… Might as well get to know each other since we are going to be together for a while.. The name is Roy, general of this place."

"Levi."

"Ok Levi. Lets see what you got!" Roy prepared himself for another attack.
