Eren's POV

I watched from afar as people were gathered around the streets taunting Erwin as he was being led down the streets in handcuffs into a truck.

"Word spreads fast." said Levi, "Fucking news reporting pricks."

"Why weren't the news reporter shut out?" I asked

"Rights, they used our fucking laws against the ones who protect it." replied Levi

"What are we going to do now?" I asked

"We wait until Ghost team makes another appearance." said Levi

"But shouldn't we figure out what really happened to what to Erwin?" I asked

"We have our secret service on it, for now we wait." said Levi

"But what about the symbols? We don't have a solid answer." I added

"We don't know anyone else that knows." said Levi

"What about him?" I asked

Levi was silent, gazing out the window staring at the crowd.

"He's out of the equation." Levi simply said

"But we need answers." I replied, "Plus, they have other Marlyeans living with him."

"They're all living in complete isolation." replied Levi

"But don't we know where they live?" I asked

Levi sighed and put his hands in his pockets.

"I don't like that bastard. But if we need answers, I guess it can't be helped." said Levi, "Find them, we move out once we get a location on them."

"I think Armin's already on that." I said as I saw Armin running towards us.

"Captain, we got location on the Beast Titan." said Armin

"Who gave you the order?" asked Levi

"I did." said a voice behind me

I turned and saw Reiner standing there.

"Zeke's probably the smartest one out of all the warriors. His father taught him many things that helped him understand the Marlyean government." said Reiner

"My father..." I whispered

"Yes your father." said Reiner

"Let's get this over with then, I don't like him at all." groaned Levi

2 hours later

"It's been long Reiner."

I walked around the living room, checking out the furniture they had in their house. Everything around them was up to date and seemed organized.

"Last time we met was on a battlefield." said Reiner

"Well, I did what I was offered to do." replied Zeke, "Anyways, why did you come here uninvited?"

"We wanted to know if you know these symbols." said Reiner

Reiner hands him his phone with the picture of the symbol on the screen. Zeke examines the phone with curiosity.

"I've seen these symbols in the books I was forced to read by my father." said Zeke

"Good thing he didn't make me read those books." I added

"Maybe, but it opens up your eyes, makes you see how cruel this world is." replied Zeke

"The world we used to live in is gone." I replied

Porco comes out of his room and greets Reiner and then greets us. The last time I saw Porco was when he was in handcuffs during the Sentinel rescue operation on Eldia.

"So you're saying you don't know what it says?" asked Reiner

"Give me a second." said Zeke

He turns to a shelf and takes out a book.

"This book has some symbols so I might be able to take it apart and translate it." said Zeke

He sits down on the couch and starts to examine the pages of the book and writes things on the paper.

"How's life so far?" asked Reiner

"It's not bad, we can leave and head to the city and do things we want to do." said Porco

"Why are you living here though? You're not a shifter." asked Hange

"I have no where else to go." replied Porco

I turned to Levi who was just intimidatingly staring at Zeke while he was doing research.

"You don't have to keep staring at me, I can feel the lasers coming out of your eyes." said Zeke

"Tsk." Levi reacted

"Hmmm, I'm not sure if this is right cause it doesn't make any sense but here." said Zeke

Levi snatches the paper and looks at it, his eyebrows then rises.

"This is what you got?" asked Levi

"Yes." replied Zeke

I looked at the paper and on it read, Death is a curse.

"This is way different from Ymir's translation." said Eren

"Well, this is the best I could do." sighed Zeke

"Now we're completely lost in this situation." sighed Hange

"Well I'm not an expert at this, most of the royal families would know this." said Zeke

"Too bad the royals families are all living with security and in isolation in a different country, they're living with luxury." said Pieck

"The Warhammer titan?" I asked

"Yes, they probably know what it says especially cause they have elders in their family." replied Zeke

"Then let's head to the Tyber family." said Levi

"Leaving so soon?" asked Zeke

"We don't have time to sit around and have tea with you." snapped Levi

"But please, let us talk for a while." insisted Zeke

"Yea, I need to catch up with my fellow warriors right?" smirked Porco as he slung his arm around Reiner and Bertholdt but he had to tiptoe to wrap his arm around Bertholdt.

"We have time to talk." smiled Hange

"Oi four eyes, what do you think you're doing?" asked Levi

"Just having some tea, we have time." replied Hange, "Plus it's better for us cause we're guests."

Hanges sits down on the couch opposite of Zeke and Pieck. Levi sighs and sits down nexts to Hange while Mike sits on the other side of Hange. The others file in into the living room and sit down around the couches.

"So how's the new country?" asked Zeke, "Marley didn't get a country."

"It's doing great, Reiner is a great king." I replied

Reiner chuckled at my remark so did Jean.

"I wonder if you ever forgave Marley for their crimes?" asked Zeke

"Everything in the past can be forgotten." smiled Hange

"Oh good." said Zeke

"No not everything." said Levi, "The lives taken by titans will never be forgotten in Eldian history."

"Ahh yes of course, nor will Marley forget the times the Eldians persecuted us." replied Zeke

Everyone became quiet, Levi and Zeke were having a staring showdown while everyone watched.

"Let's lighten the mood shall we." quickly interrupted Hange, "What have you been up to lately?"

"We've been just living our lives like normal human beings. Going to work, meeting up with outside friends and all that." replied Pieck

"Then why are you guys living in isolation?" asked Hange

"So we can shift into our titans once in a while." replied Pieck

"But it's just you two? Why does Porco live here?" asked Hange

"C'mon, I've been with them my entire childhood I can't live without them." replied Porco

"Sounds like they're your parents." chuckled Reiner

Porco laughs with Reiner while others began to talk as if we were friends that haven't seen each other in a long time.

After about 20 minutes of talking Hange said that we had to leave, so we said our goodbyes and left the house towards the Tybur family.

"Where do they live?" asked Jean

"An hour drive from here." replied Mikasa, "Eren you can take a nap, it looks like you haven't slept for days."

I nodded and leaned on Annie who hugs my head close to her chest. I closed my eyes and drifted into a deep sleep.

1 hour later

I open my eyes and I look around and I'm in the car with Annie. I was laying down on her lap and she was also asleep in the car. I looked around and the car was empty, it was just us two in the car.

I got up and looked out the window to see a huge mansion right outside the car. I gapped in awe at the mansion, it was huge and very well designed.

'So this must be the Tybur family house.'

I turn to Annie and watched her soft cute face sleep peacefully. I didn't want to wake her up or anything so I just kept watching and smiled at the view. I stroked my hand across her cheek and gently kissed her soft lips.

"Is this how you're gonna wake me up?" asked Annie

She smiles and opens her eyes.

"Sorry, you were just too cute while sleeping." I replied

Annie grabs the collar of my vest and pulls me in for a deep kiss. She kissed me with a lot of force, forcing her tongue to dance with mine as she explored my mouth. We kept kissing for about 5 minutes until we stopped and got out of the car to enter the mansion.

The security guard allowed us in and I was dumbfounded to find such a huge place. It was probably just as big as the palace, long hallways, big rooms with things that looked too fancy and expensive.

"Wow." was all I could say as we were led to the room where our team was in.

"This place is huge." whispered Annie

We got to a double door and the security guards opened it and behind the doors was a huge living room with a kitchen in it. My team was inside talking with the family members but it looked like they were getting ready to leave.

"Ahh, look who finally shows up." said Levi

"How long were we asleep?" I asked

"An hour, but we got what we came here for. We're leaving now." replied Levi

"Oh but what does the symbol mean?" asked Annie

"It means, may the dead be reborn." said a lady

"Eren, meet Viri Tybur the holder of the Warhammer titan." said Levi

A/N: I don't know if that's her actual name but that's what google gave me, some weird name so I shortened it to Viri.

"Ahh my names Eren Yeager." I introduced myself

"I know, you're one of the Eldian heroes how could we not know you." politely said Viri

"Oh, I'm not really a hero." I scratched the back of my head.

Virin chuckles and nods her head.

"A very humble person." she commented

"Anyways, so that's what it means?" I asked

"Apparently." replied Levi

"It's somewhat similar to both Ymir's and Zeke's translation." I implied

"Should we inform Kit?" asked Annie

"No." said Hange, "We don't know if they're the enemy or not."

"What if they're not the enemy?" I asked back

"Are you really willing to take the risk?" asked Hange

"Oi brat, just cause they helped us doesn't mean they'll help us now." snapped Levi

"I know sir but I think it'll be better for us to tell them, plus it's not like they're trying to hide the information or like burn it." I implied

Levi looks up to Hange and she just shrugs at him.

"We'll do that when we get back to base." said Levi, "For now we have to find some way to get Erwin out of custody."

"But they literally have the evidence." said Annie

"Are you saying you think Erwin actually did it?" asked Hange as she raised an eyebrow

"No ma'am, but I'm saying how are we going to convince Commander Recon that the footage is wrong?" replied Annie

"We'll figure things out, just how we always do." I quickly responded to Annie comforting her.

"We're going to have to act and move fast." said Hange

"So where do we start?" I asked

"For now we just need to figure out how Erwin was accused, we leave the statement to the side for now." said Levi, "If we're able to figure out who fucked up the cameras, we know who's behind all of this."

"Understood sir." replied Annie

"Oh, Mrs Tybur, I always wanted to ask what kind of powers the Warhammer titan has." I asked her

"Oh, its powers are unique, instead of being in the nape, you're connected to a wire while crystallized inside a cage." said Mrs Tybur

"Crystallized cage?" I questioned

"It's like you're frozen in a crystal cocoon." said Annie

"Ohh, so hitting the nape would be useless." I implied

"Yes, the Warhammer titan can also form any kind of weapon. It also can unleash multiple crystallized spike from the ground." said Mrs Tybur

"Wow..." I murmured

"How come it only belongs to the Tybur family?" asked Hange

"Cause our family is royal and we're technically the rulers, even though we don't really mention that and don't live up to that title." replied Mrs Tybur

"Makes sense." I said

"Let's go, we've burnt enough time." said Levi

"Thank you for the hospitality ma'am." thanked Hange

"No worries, come back again if you wish too." replied Mrs Tybur
