Kani has never been noticed in her life and she would like to keep it that way. She ends up going to her first party of sophomore year with her best friend. All is well until she is caught accidentally in bed with her crush which is posted all over social media for the whole school to see. Although her supposed 'crush' isn't who he says he is.

I have never been so nervous for a party in my life. I've never really been to one either. I'm still yet to apologise to Aaron. Why?


I'm scared I might lose the most amazing person in the world.


Some people might disagree with me and tell me to face my fears,but this is the biggest fear I've ever faced.


I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize that the school bell had rung. I hurried down the hallway and ran into someone on the way. Books and papers started flying every where.


"Oh, I'm so sorry let me get that for you." I said while bending to pick up the books and papers. I looked up to see who it was. 


"Kani.." He said sadly and I stared at him. This was my chance. 


"Aaron, I'm sorry..." I said quickly and he stood there and smiled back at me. We had our very own dramatic moment in the hallway.


"Me too..." He said sweetly and smiled wider and brighter.


We both collided into each other with the longest lasting hug in all of friendship. I'm glad me and Aaron made up I would never be able to be here with out him.


Best friends get into ridiculous fights all the time. Would you believe me if I told you this was our first one?


Schools almost over meaning the party is almost starting. Since me and Aaron made up we've been telling each other everything. So far I've found out that Aaron's got a small crush on Luke, but I've already on own that.


I found out in the most interesting way too.


Aaron agreed to come to the party with me as friends so I won't be a sad sack of potato's. Aaron also made me change that fancy prom dress I was going to wear. He told me it was a house party and not a gala. He's gonna make me wear an off the shoulder top with jeans and vans. It's not something I'd normally wear and I'd normally wear a sweater, jeans, and slides and call it a day.


I stare out the window as when  the teacher calls on my name. I snap out of thought and try and process what's happening.


"Kani! Kani!KANI JANE COOPER LOOK AT ME WHEN I SPEAK TO YOU!" She yelled and I snapped my head to the front of the front of the classroom while everyone stared at me.


"Heh, look at that she can't even function without someone screaming at her. How pathetic!" Sienna said who is the red head one more like the air head one.


"Miss Roger's! I'm pretty sure I didn't ask for your comment! Now Miss Cooper this is simple,what is 2x2?"


(A/N: I'm not putting a flipping complicated math equation because I suck at math.)


"Mister I thought the answer was three?"Brittany said while fluttering her eyelashes at my math teacher.


"Sorry Brittany but that is incorrect."


All of a sudden all the guys started complimenting her and telling her how smart and pretty she is.


She looked back at me and gave me a smile that made want to go turn into crazy black girl on her.


I had better things to worry about than this red headed Barbie over here. 


I'm really nervous for that party I'm nervous about how it would turn out.
