2730 Unrivaled Power

In the Apocalypse empire in the Sacred Temple guild residence currently held a guild meeting.

"Melody, do you really believe Zero Wing can fend of those superpowers. Based on our information currently 12 guilds are gunning for the Shining Fortress. Among them are Sky Dragon House and Nine Heaven Pavilion." An upset guild elder asked. If the sacred temple joins in the assault they can gain a share of the fortress but now they have to settle for nothing.

"Elder Creed I am positive. It's not like it's the first time Zero Wing has pulled off impossible stunts and I heard from a reliable source that Zero Wing will offer a chance to obtain a temporary residence and all those who attack the guild now will be banned from the fortress." Quiet Melody responded. In reality she only half believes that Zero Wing can win, but her good friend Phoenix Rain was in the guild. When she found out what Nine Dragon Emperor did to her she had offered Rain a very high position in the Sacred Temple right below her and eventually Phoenix Rain could work herself up to vice guild leader or elder. Unfortunately Rain had chosen to join zero wing and she had to respect that. Now that Rain was in Zero Wing she wanted to avoid any unnecessary conflict with the guild.

"All we can do is wait and see" the guild leader of the Sacred Temple said as he turned to watch the magic mirrors of the upcoming battle field.

Currently a force of nearly 600,000 players was marching towards the Shining fortress. Majority was tier 2 with over 40,000 tier 3 experts and a few hundred tier 4 players leading their respective guild's armies.

"Once Black Flame sees this army even he will piss his pants" some tier 3 expert said.

"Hey don't underestimate Black Flame, the man can stand in front of a whole otherworld and still release a frightening arua" some else commented.

"Yeah this won't be an easy fight, Zero Wing had pulled off many miracles before. I'm guessing the guild will wipe out at least half of this force before falling"

Many of the experts were discussing the upcoming battle and were preparing. Some were nervous others were excited, after all a legend of a story is about to be born here. Before the army could continue and take another step the sun rose into the sky. This confused everyone, it should be night time constantly here why is the sun up in the sky. Everyone's questions were soon answered as they saw an image reflected in that sun. It was a throne room and sitting on the throne was Black Flame Zero Wings guild leader and by his side were two gorgeous women, one as radiant as the sun, Aqua Rose and the other as cold but elegant as a snowflake, Gentle Snow.

Shi Feng on his throne with his head leaning on his hand said with an uninterested look "let's make this quick shall we. I will give you one minute to leave this battle. If you do you will be able to enter the Shining fortress in the future, but if you choose to stay not only would you be wiped out but your guilds will be banned from the fortress. Your minute starts now."

This completely caught everyone off guard those on the battlefield were stumped and didn't know whether to advance or retreat and those watching from a safe distance or through magic mirrors wondered what gave Black Flame so much confidence.

"Grandpa Quilin what should we do, the guild leader told us to get as many benefits from the Shining fortress as possible." A beautiful swordsmen girl with dark red eyes and beautiful blond hair asked Evil Quilin. She was Demon Palace new prodigy and despite being only 20 she had reached the half step void realm and can break through at any moment. Evil Quilin brought her here so she could gain more experience.

After closing his eyes and thinking for a second Evil Quilin said "let's retreat, Black Flame is not the type to bluff." With that Demon Palace members took out return scrolls and left the battle field along with two other guilds one of them being Starlink surprisingly enough.

"Hm cowards, Black Flame must have traumatized them" a commander from Nine Heaven Pavilion said with a sneer. Everyone else agreed no matter how powerful Black Flame is he can't wipe out an army of nearly 500,000 top tier experts. Besides they were currently 7,000 yards from the fortress not even five magic towers have that range. The army ignored Shi Feng's warning and marched on.

When the minute was up Shi Feng opened his eyes and with a smile he said "times up, now die!" Suddenly the image of the throne room on the sun disappeared and the bright yellow ball of light turned a ruby red. The ball of red started to expand and condensed, multiple holes and spikes were created in it. Then over five lasers to fast for even tier 3'players to react shot out, and the lasers expanded over 100 yards before stopping. When the light from the attack was gone only the dropped equipment and items of nearly 1,000 players from each hole created by the five laser remained. Everyone on the battlefield was silent and before they could do anything else a red barrier extended to over 10,000 yards with the Shining fortress at the center. The players could feel the space sealing effects due to the barrier, meaning they couldn't use return scrolls and could only walk out the barrier. Suddenly more red lasers of death shot out from the red sun killing thousands. With the rapid fire of lasers endless screams were heard then silenced, everyone watching from safe distances and through magic mirrors could only watch in horror as they imagined the losses these guilds face. Many tier 3 and 4 experts were in that army after all and while tier 3 and 4 experts could survive a few hits from the lasers of death, over four dozen lasers were fired simultaneously every second these experts couldn't survive all of these attacks. After five minutes the battle field was completely silent. What just transpired was imprinted in the watching audiences mind. Back at the Sacred Temple the conference room was dead silent.

"So who votes to join Candlelights chamber of commerce?" Melody asked as she broke the silence. All the guilds upper echelon slowly raised their hands as their eyes was still glued to the magic mirror remembering the unrivaled power.
