BOOM!!
BOOM!!
BOOM!!
Explosion after explosion could be constantly heard, out in the distance four giant dragons and other massive beasts fought giant flaming apes and a large number of tier 4 experts.
Tier 4 spell- Light of Sanctions
Tier 4 spell- Inferno Wire
Tier 4 Skill- Wave Stinger
Tier 4 spell- Stalagmite Drop
Skills and spells came from all sides bombarding the divine magic dragons, it's practically impossible for something so huge to avoid so many attacks.
Contrary to everyone's expectations, as if the giant dragon predicted the attack trajectory of these skills, it used a complex footwork and flew about to agilely maneuvered its way through these spells and skills. The moves that couldn't be dodged were slapped away by the dragon's claws. From afar it looked like these attacks were actively avoiding the divine magic dragon. 3
The members of Infinite Sky and the participating super guilds were stunned to silence.
"How is that dragon in the void realm?!"
"I can't even make my summon display the combat standards of the trial towers sixth floor!"
"Who are those people controlling those dragons, what insane training did they go through to make something like that possible?"
The best they had seen someone control a summon creature was to the flowing water realm, and that person was considered the best summoner in their guild. He was a true monster that none of them could compete with. But yet four more people capable of even better feats had shown up in Zero Wing. It is unbelievable.
Suddenly one of the dragons flew over the army's head and released their breath attack.
The seven colored flame engulfed the battle field in fire making it look like hell on earth. One of the Crimson Flame Apes was in the vicinity and took a critical hit, weakening its combat power.
Taking this opportunity, the people manning the war weapons on the city walls bombarded the injured ape monster with attacks, bringing it closer to death.
Shi Feng wasn't surprised by how well Yan Tianxing and the others controlled their summon creatures. Not only were all four in the domain realm but they had all reached the ascension realm. Yan Tianxing and Yi Loufei had reached the true ascension realm in particular and could control their summons much better than others.
Blue Phoenix and Blue Tracer hadn't reached the true ascension realm yet but we're close.
The Netherworld Empire players controlling their summons were in awe at those four abilities. Not to mention Yan Tianxing and the others, Phoenix Rain was incredible. She fought on the front lines and managed to keep several tier 4 experts at bay. Not only were all her spells ridiculously powerful, but they also had a life of their own, as if a combat technique was incorporated in every spell. Some spells will even incorporate different types of combat techniques displaying different effects. If they weren't in a war right now they would give her all their attention.
Out on the sea giant indents and holes appeared one after the other. Aqua Rose fought the tier 5 legendary megalodons to a stand still while Ye Wumain, Shadow Sword and the rest eradicated the naval fleet.
The more sea god's guards around, the stronger the sea god's legacy became, giving them all a massive boost in power. The enemy fleet could hardly resist Aqua and the others onslaught. To make matters worse, Zero Wing's navy fleet was on their way to the battle as well.
With all this going on, Shi Feng stood on the city walls. The man looked excited as he listened to the words of the true monster next to him. Shi Feng had asked him about how he achieved such a high level in the domain realm, and although he knew that this was inappropriate, he just couldn't hold back his curiosity.
"What do you think is the main difference between a domain realm expert and a void realm expert," Carbon Cat asked Shi Feng.
"Void realm experts can push their senses to the very limit to feel their surroundings, while domain realm experts can push their senses beyond their limit to achieve a much more precise control of their body and surroundings," Shi Feng answered, acting like a studious scholar.
"That's correct. Aside from their level of mental processing power, there really isn't that much of a difference between the domain and void realm like there is with the other states of the realms of refinement. But yet this small difference can display such huge gaps in strength and is impossible to achieve for most. That's why the general populace considers it the domain realm," Carbon Cat said to Shi Feng.
This gave Shi Feng an epiphany. The difference between each Combat realm is apparent. The Refinement realm gives people delicate control of their body's, allowing them to make continuous, quick snap movements. On the other hand the flowing water realm allows people to understand their opponents to a fine degree to predict their actions and act accordingly. The difference in ability the two realms provide is massive, but yet the abilities the domain realm provides is just a very enhanced version of the void realm of sorts. +
"So the domain realm as we know it is false. It's because it can provide such a massive boost in power and is nearly impossible to enter that we consider it the standard right?" Shi Feng said.
Carbon Cat gave Shi Feng an affirmative head shake, "that is correct. The true domain realm is much more powerful. Instead of pushing your senses past their limits, a true domain realm expert will do that as well as combine their senses into one creating an eighth sense of sorts."
"This eighth sense is indescribable, only someone who's entered the true domain realm knows how it feels. The physical control that comes along with it is on a completely different level than what you've experienced so far," Carbon Cat explained to Shi Feng.
The true domain realm. Shi Feng was lost in his thoughts, he had believed he had entered among the apex of God's Domain but in reality he only took the first step. If he wants to compete with the true monsters out there, he will have to enter the true domain realm as well, he can't keep relying on his attribute advantage as that will dwindle away as the game progresses.
While Shi Feng was thinking heavily, Carbon Cat glanced at the young man as if he were a monster. He could tell that Shi Feng was already half a step into the true domain realm, even if Shi Feng didn't know it yet.
He had seen quite a few geniuses enter the domain realm around Shi Feng's age; he had been one of those geniuses himself. But this is the first time he has ever seen anyone as young as Shi Feng come so close to unlocking their true domain. It had taken him decades to even come close and he has only been a true monster for a few years now. Aside from people from overseas, the young man before him is truly an unparalleled prodigy.
While Shi Feng enjoyed his conversation with Carbon Cat, Hell Rush walked up to him, "Guild Leader Black Flame, I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation but can we get back on topic," Hell Rush said with a little anxiety in his voice +
"Oh yeah, what were we talking about again."
Hell Rush pointed to the sky and with an anxious expression he almost yelled out "I just wanted to know what we were going to do about that ungodly amount of mana building up in the sky!"
At his words Shi Feng looked towards the sky. Directly above Rising Wing city, a giant whirlpool of mana grew ever larger and more frightening by the minute.
Shi Feng knew what this phenomenon was. This could only happen when a player uses a Godly Magic Scroll. These types of scrolls contain the power of multiple ancient gods and were incredibly powerful. If tier 7 existed, the power those scrolls represented will be the power of tier 7. That's what was said in the past.
In Shi Feng's past life Godly Magic Scrolls were primarily used to capture main ranked cities or destroy a war fortress.
I thought they wanted to capture the city, not destroy it. The reason for why Shi Feng says this is because only the magic barrier of a main ranked city can protect a city from such an attack. Even an advanced city's magic barrier is like paper to such an attack, let alone Rising Wing city's. Even though this is an ancient city it's still a basic rank city, the magic barrier is just slightly more powerful than an intermediate ranked city.
The only way to stop the spell was to enter the whirlpool of mana and destroy its core. This core can actually rival a legendary material and is extremely valuable but trying to salvage it while stopping the spell is nearly impossible. Only upper rank tier 6 beings can accomplish that.
If you didn't care about the core, an upper rank tier 5 being can stop this spell before it activates with some heavy injuries. Shi Feng had known about the Godly Magic attack the second it was formed. He had wanted to sacrifice one of the divine magic dragons to stop it but for some reason Ember wanted him to let it fully form.
Whenever the thought of stopping the spell popped in his mind, Ember will cause a ruckus in her familiar dimension annoying Shi Feng. He had no choice but to give his daughter what he wanted and let the Godly Magic spell finish.
It was tough being a parent.
Hopefully it's a single target type spell and will only cause minor damage to the city, Shi Feng prayed. If Ember can't do anything about this spell, he would have no way of stopping it.
Guild Leader Black Flame, do you have a way to stop the spell," Hell Rush asked. He knew about the Godly Magic scrolls as well, Netherworld Empire had sacrificed nearly 70 tier 4 players just to get one from an ancient secret ruin in a level 100+ forbidden map. Unfortunately he does not have the authority to use such a scroll. +
"I do have a plan but it's a long shot." Shi Feng handed Hell Rush, Thunder Beast, and Carbin Cat tier 5 scrolls. "Use these scrolls to counter the spell and leave the rest to me."
When the three got their hands on the scrolls, they were speechless. Tier 4 scrolls were already rare; tier 5 scrolls are even rarer than legendary weapons. Netherworld Empire has only managed to collect 7 and that was because they had access to multiple secret lands.
One minute.... Two minutes.... Three minutes
The longer they waited the more anxious they felt. The whirlpool of mana becomes stronger with every second that passes. Their breathing quickened and their hands started to shake a little, even Shi Feng began to sweat a little. Despite all of them being unparalleled experts, they could barely keep their nerves in check.
As they waited, Vendor Wind who was waiting for the spell to be completed with a smile plastered on his face turned around. Squinting his eyes he noticed a figure coming at them at a rapid pace.
When Cloudy Nine noticed the man's behavior he turned around as well, but before he could make a full rotation, a gust of wind blew past him causing a sonic boom. Cloudy Nine was almost swept off his feet.
"Vast I didn't expect you to come here as well," Vendor Wind said to the man who suddenly appeared beside him. The man loomed like a towering figure on top of his Thunder Flame Eagle. The mana surrounding him was so dense, it actually pushed away some of the corrosive energy around him. He is also very muscular, calling him a body builder will be reasonable.
This was Vast Kill, one of Infinite Sky's super prodigies. Vast Kill entered the domain realm at the age of 26 and right now he is 39 and has entered the true domain realm a few weeks ago. It was most likely that he would become a grand elder or vice guild leader of the great super guild.
"The guild leader ordered me to bring reinforcements. It seemed that you were having trouble capturing the city," Vast Kill said with an indifferent look on his face.
"Let me guess, you decided to leave the reinforcements behind and come ahead right." Despite Vendor Wind talking to him, Vast didn't respond. Instead he had his eyes on the city walls; more specifically, he had his eyes on Carbon Cat, an intense fighting spirit building up within him.
After entering the true domain realm only other true monsters and a few domain realm experts can give him a good fight. This was the perfect chance to fight another true domain realm expert to the death.
Only in intense battles can one truly grow.
When Vendor Wind realized what Vast Kill was thinking, he didn't say anything else and just watched to show. Despite one of the Crimson Flame Apes dying he wasn't upset in the least, he was eager to watch things play out.
Back on the city walls, Shi Feng and the others started to prepare. With Ember on his shoulder Shi Feng asked her, "are you sure you know what you're doing?" With a twinkle in her eyes Ember shook her head rapidly saying yes.
Shi Feng gathered all his concentration. Hopefully he could buy enough time to let Ember do what she wanted.
Focus Focus Focus.
Shi Feng calmed his mind, at this point nothing could break his concentration.
When the whirlpool of mana reached its zenith, the world seemed to freeze. As a blinding green light expanded from its center nothing else seemed to matter.
Shi Feng abruptly opened his eyes and yelled. "NOW!"
Shi Feng activated Element Requiem and had his ten doppelgangers activate power of darkness and blade liberation. He and his clones all flew up to the edge of the barrier. Raising Crown Sword high ten rivers of lightning shot out from each of their swords.
Lightning Edge
Because Shi Feng had focused his concentration, all his doppelgangers achieved a 95% completion rate with the skill. He and his clone of lightning both achieved a 100% skill completion rate with it.
At the same time Shi Feng activated Lightning Edge, the whirlpool of mana shot out a massive pillar of wind down at the city. This pillar of wind was easily the width of ten skyscrapers packed next to each other and it released massive amounts of divine might.
This spell forced everyone on the battlefield to stop, not because they wanted to but because they were frozen in place due to the divine might the wind pillar radiated. Only those protected by the Rising Wing city barrier could move.
As the imposing pillar of wind plummeted down to the ground it connected with Shi Feng's and his doppelgangers Lightning Edge. Shi Feng had incorporated the skill fusion technique and merged the power of the ten rivers of lightning with his own. He couldn't merge them all perfectly but was still able to increase the skills power by nearly 250%.
At the same time Hell Rush and the others all activated the tier 5 scrolls and combined their attacks with Shi Feng. Unfortunately even with all this the pillar of wind didn't slow down.
Aqua Rose who was protected by the strength of the sea in combination with a hidden effect of her Sea Dragon Staff managed to finish an incantation. After activating her legacy berserk skill multiple dragon heads made of water appeared behind her and aimed for the pillar of wind,
Sea Dragons Roar
A giant jet of water split the ocean apart due to its sheer force as it rocketed through the sky. It then collided with the massive wind pillar, but the spell barely slowed down. +
"Not even this is enough!" Shi Feng said as he gritted his teeth. He wanted to activate disintegration field as well but that will also weaken the other attacks too making it counterproductive.
As he was getting pushed back a storm of wild wind was being created at center point of the colliding attacks. The storm expanded all across the island, causing the ground to shake and the sea to rage. Boulders and trees will be lifted off the ground and massive cracks were formed in the floor. Giant waves slammed against the boats and sea monsters in the sea. It seemed as if it were the end of the world as a void started to form in the center of the attacks.
Just as the wind pillar was about to make contact with the city barrier, four giant figures came and charged at it. These figures were the divine magic dragons. Since they had used their breath attacks to kill the Crimson Flame Apes, they could only use their body's and melee skills to stop the spell.
Even though the dragons continually lost billions of HP with each second they managed to slow the spell down a bit.
This was a clash of pure power, nobody could have imagined something like this was even possible in God's Domain. While everyone was either in fear or awe of the current situation, they didn't notice a tiny figure excitedly making her way through all the mayhem straight into the whirlpool of mana.
