Incarnation

Johns makes a fake cough, gaining a surprising glare from his brother.

"Now I have your attention. You've been staring at her forever" the grey eyes kid speaks

Evan is double amazed. The both of them have not been talking for the entire semester. All because of Koryn.

"Is this a reconciliation?" Evan inquires

"Yeah? It was time I faced you"

Evan is speechless. Johns is staring at him.

"Listen bro. I know I hated you because we're from different moms. But right here and now, I want to admit that I've never had the intention to sleep with Koryn. She came to me, because she never loved you. She wanted my attention and I never gave that to her. She had to drug me. I hated the life out of her. When she noticed it, she hated me too. She had no other reason to stay. She left. And now she's back because she has no one."

Evan doesn't look surprised. He noticed and understood everything on the 'bottle turning' day. The day he made Nice sing for him. She's the only one in his mind. No one else matters.

He refocuses his gaze on her and sees Koryn staring from an angle. He gives her a quick dangerous look then stares back at Nice who just saw him looking at her rival.

She's now jealous. She look at her nails while biting on her lip. He squints his eyes and Johns chuckles. He just saw the cinema.

"You should talk to her" he advises and Evan looks at him.

Should he do as his brother said; because deep down, he really wants to talk to her.

"Go" Johns insists and Evan gives him a genuine smile "I'm happy that in all these you chose to be with your best friend. I've always known she loved you. I just couldn't understand why you couldn't deem"

Johns smirks looking at Abigale "I was so miserable"

"You had a medal for misery man"

They both cackle at his words, everything that happened in the day, slowly disappearing from their minds.

On this side, Nice and her mates are occasionally peeping at the boys across them who having a 'brother moment'

"They look very joyful. Strange things happening in this place since our arrival" Abigale comments

"That's a good sign though. They're finally acknowledging their blood line and kicking that witch aside"

Nice frowns "Witch?"

Her friend looks at her "Koryn. She was the reason of their misunderstandings"

Her eyebrows crane in understanding "That makes sense. But do you thin-"

"No I don't think Evan has feelings for her. He loves you" Abi lets out plainly, as though her words were ordinary.

Nice shifts on her seat uncomfortably, noticing the stare Evan has on her. She can't just call 'love' as if it's something normal.

As they conversed, the lady to whom she pleaded a phone from to talk with her mom was going through her phone. She discovered Nice's account logged in.

She had to use messenger so she entered the account. Her eyes fell on Nice's communication with her mom. She blinks, reading everything they talked about.

Like a reflex, she occasionally glanced at Nice from her seat while looking back at the messages unbelievably.

She thinks of showing it to her colleague Mr. Michael, but she doesn't. She goes out of the chart. She's unable to do what she wanted to do. She's stiff.

...

Mrs. Daigle was given a place to sleep by Mrs. Jana. She can't stop thinking about what her daughter said. She can't tell her child. How will she start?

Her mind reflects to Mrs. Jana. She wonders how Nice knew about the contract if not that her principal revealed their little secret. She must face that woman to find out the truth.

She is walking towards Mrs. Jana's room that is in the same corridor. It's late at night but she deems that the woman is awake.

She is meters away when she hears a sharp voice piecing into her ears. She stands covering her palms over her ears to prevent the sound form causing harm to her drums.

She notices a door directly opposite her that is closed. The sound echoed from that direction. She walks slowly towards the lousy door until she is right in front of it. She stares at the door for a moment, her ears still locked with her hands.

The noise stops. She notices and takes off her hands. Out of curiousness, she encircles her hand over the knop. Only then she discovers her hands invisible, entering into the closed door.

Her eyebrows scrunch. Is this is the real world or she has just collapsed? She rubs her face, trying to see clearly. It's real. There is another world in this school.

She walks in, closer and closer until she has disappeared into the solid door. Her environment is red. The vacancy is filled with red light and candles.

She shrugs. Tremor takes over her in no time. What's this place?

She look behind and finds no exit. Her heart skips. But that place was where she just entered. Where is the door? No door.

Everywhere is strange and frightful. She is overwhelmed. She gulps, studying the environment diligently.

The least thing can course her life for sure. She just stepped into a place she was not sent to enter.

Making one step, she notices a shadow exiting a corridor. She hides behind a cupboard. The shadow is coming towards her.

Ahead of her is a mirror. She can see through this mirror, whosoever is in this abandoned room.

That person is a human just like her as she peeks into the glass. It's not just an ordinary woman but ...

"Mrs. Jana?" she mumbles, shockingly to under her breath.

The woman stops her movement. Wanting to check if she just heard a sound. Victoria is afraid, silently praying that the woman doesn't see her.

Mrs. Jana finds what she came for. She's holding a bowl of water and a knife. She walks away and Victoria follows after her, prudently. She can't risk being caught.

They step together away into another room. This blog is filled with students' pic all over the wall. The proprietress smiles seeing her co-worker coming forth with what she sent her to bring.

"Now we can incarnate." The proprietress utters

Mrs. Jana is placing the bowl of water down and using the knife to cut her palm. Blood drips into the liquid, turning red.

"We summon Emma's ghost this minute" Mrs. Jana invokes

Victoria places her palm over her mouth, fear rushing through her veins causing her to shiver. The environment becomes tensed. Wind blows from all direction and that family sharp voice is heard.

She doesn't know if she should leave this place. Even if she must to live, she has no idea where she will exit.

Emma lands in their midst. Her look is angry. The two live woman smirk at their victory.

"Stop roaming in this school. And stop protecting the child and her mom. You are gone. There is nothing that can be done."

Victoria's eyebrows fold. What child?

"How dare both of you call upon my restless soul. After everything you did to me! I will come back for you two." Emma screams, and their eyes grow wide.

They didn't expect her to reply. They just wanted her to do as they commanded.

Emma's head snaps past them, over to Victoria. Once the ghost sees her, her expression turns calm. Then she leaves. The invoking women didn't notice. They were just frightened.

Victoria is shock. Her heart stopped when their eyes came in contact. She feels hurt for being there when she was killed. Tears are caught up in her orbits as she let them flow down consistently.

It was time Mrs. Jana and her friend left that place; the fear from later still tormenting them.

Victoria hides, waiting for them to leave while she follows behind to find where she can exit.

They stop in front of two mirrors, each taking their leave. Victoria is confused. Where will she pass? She chooses Mrs. Jana's path and finds herself in the schools corridor.

The woman is briskly running away while Victoria finds her way back to her room. What she wanted to ask her isn't important any longer.

She has seen more than her eyes would ever see. She can't wait for her child to come back so they can leave this demonic school for good. Maybe till then, she may only advise parents not to bring their kids here.
