Night talk II

Vincent's POV

Zoe has been bugging me to find out the truth.

She is not ready to know the truth yet.

"Why were you so rude to mate!" Ayo says angrily at me.

He is my favorite in the world.

He has been with me since I was born.

"I don't know," I replied, I really don't know why I shut the door on Zoe's face. But at least she knocked it down!

And persuaded me but I was still vague with her.

She is such a firecracker.

"But you should not have done that, tomorrow morning you are going to talk to mate and you two must get to know each other," Ayo says

"Sure whatever," he has a point if I want to get revenge on her father I have to get close to the daughter.

"Vincent that is not what I meant."

"I know, I know."

"But why after all these years is she back?" I question while being puzzled.

We were friends as kids but she had an accident and only remembers that. It was a million wolf years ago but she doesn't remember that part.

When she gets her memories back she might instantly love me again.

"Vincent it had to happen, the legend had to be fulfilled, it's time for the second one to be fulfilled, she has the eyes of fury. Flames in her eyes." Ayo says and I nod. He has a point.

The true legend has to be fulfilled.

"The Legend?" I mumble to myself.

I totally forgot about it.

"Of course you forgot, old man." my amazing wolf snacks at me.

"I'm not old, " I mumble.

"Yes, being over a thousand years old is being young," he says and I roll my eyes.

"Just tell me the stupid legend again!" I say to him, my patience is running thin.

"Fine, " he says but he remains silent.

Has he forgotten it!!

"No, I haven't, I was just trying to be suspenseful, " I say to him.

"Get on with it!" I say to him.

"Say please, " He demands

"Fine, please."

" You already know of the first legend, I will only tell you snippets of it.

The first legend was about the first war. the war to stop Erebus and your Father, " I wince when he mentions my father's name.

"Sorry, "

"it's fine."

"like I was saying it was fulfilled. This one is to free half of the gods and let peace reign before the last battle is fought, " he explains it simply and I am glad.

"Thank you, was that so hard to say?" I question rhetorically.

"Good night Vincent!" he says and a smile spread across my face.

"Good night, " I reply to him.

With that, I head to bed.
