Wei Ying didn't mean to eavesdrop, but he did. He didn't hear the whole conversation, but he heard the part where Lan Zhan asked uncle if he can marry Wei Ying. Wei Ying wanted to cry, so many different feelings began to well inside Wei Ying.

"What is wrong Wei Wuxian?" asked Jiang Cheng

"Nothing."

The Lan brothers soon joined the boys in the living room. The door to the front door opened, in came Jin Zixuan. Jiang Yanli came into the living room to greet her husband with their son,

"Baba." (Baba means dad in Chinese)

"Come here my little Jin Ling."

Jiang Yanli lowered their son on to the floor, Jin Ling ran to his father. Jin Zixuan picked up his son, he looked around.

"Wow, haven't seen the house this crowded like this before."

"Haha." laughed Wei Ying

"Who are these people?"

"This is Lan Wangji, and his brother Lan Xichen," said Jiang Yanli

"Lan Xichen? Do you by any chance work at the Juilliard School of Music?"

"Yes, do you know me?"

"Not me, my father Jin Guangshan. He is always talking about a teacher at the school who was always hard working. Also that he is loved by all the students. Glad to be able to put a name to the face."

"Your father is a great teacher as well," said Lan Xichen

"Lan Wangji, as in the actor?"

"Yes," said Lan Zhan

"Wow, when Wei Wuxian was younger; all he talked about was you. I was concerned that he might have been gay or something."

Wei Ying who was standing behind Jin Zixuan lowered his head. Jiang Cheng was upset too, he didn't know how to tell his brother in law that he and Wei Ying were actually gay.

"You aren't gay are you Wei Wuxian?"

Wei Ying didn't know what to say, he didn't want to be hated by his brother in law. But he had to say it one day, he might as well say it now.

"Yes, I am gay. Do you have a problem with that?"

"I knew it."

Wei Ying glared at Jin Zixuan.

"Don't worry Wei Wuxian, I don't judge. My brother is gay too, he's dating one of my friends. That is totally not weirder than you dating an actor."

Wei Ying was surprised to think that Jin Zixuan would accept him for who he was. He went over to give Jin Zixuan a hug, the latter hugged back. With his boyfriend just behind him watching the scene unfold, a jealous look doesn't go unseen.

"Lan Zhan, don't look at me with such passionate eyes." Wei Ying teasingly said to Lan Zhan after letting go of Jin Zixuan

"Pathetic."

Wei Ying chuckled, he was glad that Jin Zixuan didn't care about him being gay.

"So, he doesn't care if people are gay. Should I tell him that I like Lan Xichen?" thought Jiang Cheng

"What's wrong Jiang Cheng?" asked Lan Xichen

"N-nothing."

Lan Xichen looked at Jiang Cheng concerned but he didn't pry further. He looked at the time, he had to get going, he had to work tomorrow.

"Sorry, but I need to be getting home," said Lan Xichen

"Right, you have work tomorrow." said Jiang Cheng

"Yeah."

"It was nice meeting you, and have a safe trip back." said Jiang Yanli

"It was nice meeting you too."

"See you tomorrow Lan Xichen." said Wei Ying

"Mmm."

Jiang Cheng walked Lan Xichen to the door.

"Are you not going to tell your brother in law?" asked Lan Xichen

"I'll tell him later."

"Okay."

Lan Xichen leans down and give a quick peck on Jiang Cheng's temple.

"See you tomorrow Jiang Cheng, let's meet up for lunch."

"Sure, see you tomorrow Lan Huan."

They hug and Lan Xichen leaves, Jiang Cheng watched as the man got into his car. When Lan Xichen finally drives away, he walks back into the living room.

"I should be getting back too." said Lan Zhan

"What, already?" said Wei Ying

"Mmm."

"Stay longer, please." whined Wei Ying

"Can't."

"Hmph."

"Don't you need to go back to school?" asked Lan Zhan

"Yes." Wei Ying

"Then I'll take you back."

With this, Wei Ying perks up. He didn't want Lan Zhan to leave just yet. He holds Lan Zhan's hand as they walked to the door.

"See you next time Uncle, Jin Zixuan, Jin Ling, sis, and see you at school Jiang Cheng."

"Stay safe." Jiang Yanli said coming over to give her brother a hug

"We will." said Wei YIng

"Don't go doing anything stupid." said Jiang Cheng

"Shut it you."

Jiang Cheng smiles at his brother.

"Keep him safe, Lan Wangji." said Uncle

"I will." replied Lan Zhan

They wave goodbye to the others, and they walk to Lan Zhan's car. Wei Ying was very happy, he was glad that he was with Lan Zhan.

"Sorry, you had to deal with Jiang Cheng's mother."

"It is okay, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder."

"Mmm."

They get into the car, and drives away.
