the stone will bathe her soul
a color not known to man
staining her roots of purity
as her skin cracks in shame
her innocence blinded away
as the gleam of the substance
inches closer, closer
the breeze between the two
engulfed in heat so heavy
the wind begs of its end
for when the skin of the child
is met with the heart of a deity
the light of the stone bleeds
into the veins of its victim
swarming like a newborn
and finding a new territory
deep within her remains
and when her eyes close
her memories erased
with her human corpse
a new celestial awakening
like a fallen comet on our soil
the eyes of humanity
will fail to perceive color again
that isn't the void within the stone
hiding forever in fear
knowing the predator
lurking with our throats
sinked in its fang
lies in our reflection
