Olivia Du Pont

"Just look down and empty your mind. Don't think about the mystic kings anymore. I will tell you later." Aladdin whispered back as he kept observing his dark combat boots.

"You can look up now. But don't glance at him. We shall continue the topic some other time." Aladdin whispered after a few seconds but did not dare cast a single glance towards the mystic with dreadlocks.

"The other witches and wizards are also like you. They seem to enjoy being in the rain." Elena quipped as she looked at the other mystics who kept a distance from the mystic kings and queens.

"Keep it low. There are some low-lives here. We shouldn't attract their attention." Aladdin mumbled while signaling Elena to speak in a low voice.

"And who might we have here? The three musketeers of Section-41. You have come to leach off our merit points during this mission?" A female voice filled with naked provocation and disdain broke the silent atmosphere.

"It seems that we can't escape the attention of the low-lives. They're already here." Aladdin sighed in resignation after hearing the voice.

The brows of the six kings and three queens were creased and they immediately cast fierce glances towards the speaker, however, after seeing the source they looked away and continued their furtive discussion.

In but a few moments, a group of four burly men and a devilishly stunning woman approached their group. The group all cast condescending glances towards Miss Fox and the rest as they mirrored the action of the beautiful girl walking in front of them.

"Isn't that Olivia Du Pont? How is she here in Giza?" Elena mumbled while looking at Aladdin.

"You know her?" Aladdin's brows were creased as he observed Elena.

"Who doesn't know her? Don't tell me that you're ignorant about her roots!" Elena sounded perplexed.

"Is she famous on the mainland?" Aladdin's expression was gloomy.

"Very. But why is she here?" Elena inquired.

"Don't know. But we have trouble on our hands." Aladdin sighed in resignation.

"And if it isn't the Idiot of a woman! What are you doing here instead of being in the casino and brothel? That is where school dropouts like you should be." Miss Fox intoned as she glared at Olivia Du Pont. Her voice was a pitch higher than usual.

"Told you," Aladdin whispered.

"Oh! I understand. 'Du Ponts' and 'Manroes' have always been rivals. Have they brought over their contention to Giza?" Elena whispered back, her expression showing genuine surprise.

"Ask your friend! They have been at it for the previous six years." Aladdin mumbled while stealing some glances at the lady-fox duo.

"Hahaha… If I am an idiot, then you're brain dead. You're a disgrace to Section-41. Just pack your bags and run back to your Grandpa in Melekar." Olivia countered as she caressed her midnight-black hair to place it back behind her ears.

"Being at the bottom of the merit-board for six years! Your group is the first and most likely the last. Don't you think so Amon?" Olivia added while turning to the burly man beside her. She looked like the personification of a curious girl asking for confirmation from an elder brother.

"The last position despite receiving the help of the Matriarch daily," Amon replied. He held a silk umbrella, like a loyal bodyguard, to shield Olivia from the rain.

Miss Fox's brows creased.

"As you have the help of the Quartermaster…" Miss Fox countered.

"Olivia Du Pont! Unlike you who has a dead brain and had to drop out of school, I still had to complete my studies whilst doing missions." Miss Fox added while looking down at Olivia's party from her position atop the wind fox.

The wind-fox also started growling as it emitted a wild and menacing aura that made Olivia tremble as she hurriedly moved behind Amon.

Miss Fox grinned with naked provocation.

"Don't scare us, young girl. Your beast is still lacking" Amon interjected while releasing a stronger aura directed towards the Fox duo.

"Piss off Amon. Don't think that I am absent." Ali-Baba countered while releasing an equally formidable aura and pressure.

"You broke through finally!" Amon was surprised.

Ali-Baba remained silent while glaring at Olivia's party.

"This isn't over Fox girl," Olivia replied with a scowl before walking away from the group.

"You finally broke through?" Miss Fox inquired, her eyes looking at Ali-Baba with excitement.

"We aren't friends Miss Manroe! I just shooed them away to protect the Matriarch's prestige. But not for you." Ali-Baba emphasized before walking off to find someplace to seat.

"Why is he always like this?" Miss Fox mumbled.

"What would you expect?" Aladdin answered while stealing some glances at Olivia's receding silhouette.

"What happened between you two? You've never told me anything about this. I might be able to help mend your relationship. I'm a good diplomat." Elena interjected.

Miss Fox sighed in response before gently shaking her head.

"Let's wait on the sidelines." Miss Fox intoned and led the way to the far end of the street. As their party settled in with the other members of Section-41, the Northern gate regained its calm for a few minutes before the Matriarch arrived.

"We are leaving." The Matriarch ordered as soon as she appeared before the Northern Gate of Giza.

"Yes, Matriarch." All the members of section-41 replied in Unison as they lined up before Bianca.

"Chiara!"

"Yes, Matriarch!" Chiara replied as she appeared out of thin air before the Matriarch.

"How many of our members are moving out this time?" The Matriarch inquired, her tone imposing.

"Sixty: Ten mystic kings/queens, and fifty mystic knights," Chiara replied, her tone humble.

"Where is Constantine? And what about the rest?"

"Already out of the gate. Just waiting on the outskirts of the Dark Forest."

"Have you registered the permits with the old man?"

"Yes."

"Tell the gatekeeper to activate the gate. We will discuss when we're out."

"Okay, Matriarch!" Chiara replied before heading towards the gate.

Shortly, the large iron gate that looked to have been forged centuries ago started producing chiming sounds as it opened revealing what was beyond.

Outside the gate lay a section of the barrier that was now glowing with several mysterious ciphers on its lustrous surface.

"We can now move out." The Matriarch ordered as she led the party towards the barrier.

As the barrier twinkled with a multitude of mysterious symbols, the Matriarch's silhouette together with the rest of the Section-41 assassins disappeared from within Giza town.
