Right after exiting the teleportation portal out of Eclista, Hugo had been whisked away hastily by Constantine. Once they had gone through the teleportation hubs in the basement of the Dark Cathedral at Giza's center, the blacksmith had wasted no time in taking him back to the Matriarch's house.

No one was home when they arrived. So, Hugo got some uninterrupted time to organize his pickings from Eclista as soon as Constantine left. He put everything in order within his spatial rings and settled down to visualize and comprehend the spells that he had learned from the fairy.

For this task, he needed to summon Infinitus, the Grimoire of all beginnings. Spell-models that were sensed by his mind were always imprinted on the added pages in the Grimoire. The imprinted models could greatly ease his task of comprehending the spells.
