"It's not my fault that your so intellectually challenged that the only name you can give your child is Joey."

Griselle Colen's Point of View

"What's this?! Cool!" A figure shouts from afar, the book in her hands raised while a huge grin was etched on her face.

"Who was that?" I asked walking closer to figure which was laying on a white mattress. 'Why does she seem so awfully familiar?'

"Maybe I should try this one too!" It says, the excitement lacing in the atmosphere made me feel so nostalgic. Just watching her roll on the mattress while giggling and reading.

"Fr**! H*i*yu! Y*ri on I**! Hmm... what else to read?"

I stop walking further, my body felt numb. It was as though someone put a glass wall in front me that the image of her in my front is my limit and if I go futher, there will be nothing but the same abyss I was staying on before she showed up.

"That's it!" A wide grin suddenly flashed her face, I didn't know why or so I choose not to know but looking at her seems so saddening. Probably because I saw her somewhere before, or I've seen the same scene before that whatever she said next is the same word that came out of my mouth.

"I'll be a sports teacher!" My mouth must've moved on its own that I manage to blabber he lines. Although hers was more enthusiastic and determined, mine was of sadness and realization.

Yes, realization. Realization of why sadness was the first thought I had although she looked so happy, Nostalgic although we haven't meet before.

Because she was actually me to begin with.

"I'm gonna go change now!" My past self cheerfully stated as she dodge all the stacks of Manga and CD's in her room to change into one of the most decent clothing she had in her wardrobe. Even then with all her humming and happiness, and me knowing what'll happen next, I didn't find it in myself to move nor to react. To me, I feel like I'm just watching something that I know I can't pause nor change.

Beep! Beep!

I could only stare, no look of surprise or grief in my face. Only sadness, watching as my own body lay there unmoving. 'If I cry, would you live?' I asked inwardly, knowing the answer to myself when people began to ask for aid trying to save my lifeless body.

"In the end... I never got that dream." A voice suddenly said behind me, her familiar voice lacing straightforwardness and harshness in them is enough for me to identify.

"Are you still hung up on that?" I asked, looking to my past self.

"Damn right, I am!"

I chuckled at the response I received. "But you're already dead, how can you achieve it?"

I watch as she walked over, stopping in front of me, placing a hand on my shoulder. The same yet nostalgic smirk on her face plastered.

"That... is where you come into view."

I look at myself in those determined eyes of her, looking at the smirked plastered on my lips that mirrored hers. She gave me another pat on the back before raising her hand and waved goodbye as she walks away, not stealing me another glance and vanishing from my line of vision.

"Good luck Griselle." Is the last I've heard from her before the same silent abyss forming its way back again to me.

"So, what do I do about this?" I asked to no one in particular upon recovering from the events that just happened. The place where she patted was still stinging and warm as if she was still there for me, and it was enough comfort to have around in a place of nothingness. I walked around trying to find something, anything. I don't know what was it, but I know I was looking for something.

Warmth suddenly came in contact with my hand. "Its warm." I smiled, seeing something glinting in my hand, like droplets of water. "Like Gabrielle."

"I miss Gabrielle and Father."

And that's when it hit me. I wasn't looking for something, but someone. I'm looking for Gabrielle and Father. The image of both suddenly flashed to my mind and before I could apprehend what's going on, I was surrounded by bead of lights. Floating around the empty surroundings.

"Sister. When you wake up, I'll never leave your side, and I won't cause anymore trouble. I promise to not be picky of food, I'll eat even the broccoli. I promise to become stronger and protect you."

So he was waiting for me this whole time huh...I felt myself tearing up, he must have been so lonely, so helpless while I was here doing nothing but sleep.

"I promise to be a good boy. So, please... please don't leave me. Don't leave father and I alone..."

"About time. I guess..." I trailed off, seeing the lights covered the entire place, I was about to move forward when I spot her standing from afar, smiling at me, and before my eyes pry open... I managed to smile back.

She was gone, and the familiar ceiling of my room came into view.

Slowly, I sat up, stretching my limbs. Unsatisfied, I stood up and stretched my entire body, performing a few jumping jacks in the process.

'The office huh...'

————

Ignoring the gasp of the maids and some butlers walking in the hallway, I calmly walked over to Father's office while disregarding the fact that I'm still in my sleep wear.

"With a girly face like yours, a girly name suits you well."

I stopped in my tracks. 'Girly? What?'

I felt my eyebrow twitch in annoyance. "Is it me or is that insult I hear?"

One of the maids close by who overheard my question approached.

"They have been on it since the young master entered the room Miss."

"Huh..." I trailed off, with a deadpan. 'I am so not gonna let them off easily with this.'

Walking over to the open door of the office I leaned over to the doorframe taking the sight of my brother standing in front of the three guest with his head low and his fist tightly clenched. To be honest, it took almost everything in me not to suddenly pounce on father's guest.

'I mean, if father see and hears about this, those three wouldn't live to see the next day.'

"I bet that's exactly why you have always been protected by the Lady Colen."

'Wrong choice of words.' I thought, taking note of how my brother looked like he's ready to kill someone.

"Don't you dare drag my sister----"

"Yes, I'm always protecting him." I said cutting Gabrielle off before he could snap at everyone. I mean, someone as cute as my Shota of a brother should be protected by the FBI rightttt? Let alone Onee-chan!

"You got a problem with that?!"

Ignoring the surprised look of my Father's facr whose walking with Helianthus following him, I smirked darkly at the "Guest".

'Some fun wouldn't kill right?'

"Sister Griselle...?"I snapped out of the glare I gave from the Brinzel family before smiling cheerfully to my crying Shota---brother.

Third Person's Point of View

The silence of the room didn't help to ease the tension that the family Brinzel felt when seeing the menacing glare that the lady of the house gives them. They can still feel themselves flinching evn after the girl's glare changed to a sudden smile as she glance at her younger brother.

"Gabrielle!" Almost instantly, her voice turned as sweet as honey and all hostility from before turned to glee and innocence when she walked over to tackle her brother to a hug.

"You're awake!" Gabrielle choked, he somehow didn't even give a single care if he looked more embarrassing or more hilarious in the eyes of the guest. Cause depite of the act, he was relieved. Relieved that he could see his sister standing and relieved that she's once again conscious. Tears just continued to cascade down his face, a big smile on his face that was replaced by Griselle's wide grin.

"Now then." The minute she opened her mouth to speak, Griselle's gaze went back to the Brinzel family, a smirk on her lips and her ruby orbs glinting. 'This is war bitch!'

"Did I heard it right? "With a girly face like yours, a girly face suits you well." you say?"

The Duke Farol who overheard of the confrontation was currently being held back by Helianthus, preventing him from doing anything rash, seeing that his hand is already itching to draw his sword out.

"Well, I was actually expecting something like this." Griselle on the other hand shrugged, as if all her previous act of malice was long forgotten that she's just simply talking. "I mean, with a brain so small like you piece of shits, you wouldn't be able to understand the beauty and pride Gabrielle's name hold."

Thought too soon, she suddenly gave the trio a smug grin which took her offensive words much more because of her facial expression. Her statement even caused the Count Brinzel to stood up from his seat.

"Is this how a lady of the house treat their guest?"

"You said it yourself." The girl replied her mocking and snickering long gone. "I am from this house, you're standing in my territory. And as guest, you should learn when to shut your mouth!"

'I expected that among the siblings, lady Griselle was the one who took after the Duke. But to think its this worse...' Sighed Helianthus who stole a glance at the smirking Duke that was still listening to the commotion and facepalmed. 'And he's proud of it?!'

"Listen here!" Gabrielle felt his sisters hand gripped tighter into his small ones. The way he usually do to her sleeping figure. "It's not my fault that your so intellectually challenged that the only name you can give your child is Joey."

"What's that? A baby Kangaroo?" The count's veins almost popped when hearing Griselle snicker. "Heh. Lame."

"I'll tell your father about your foul mouth!" The countess announced aiding his now crying son. She smirked when the thought of Griselle in fear flashed to her mind. And yet, froze in her spot when she saw the smug grin on the girl's face.

"Do you want me to accompany you?"

"There's no need for that."

The entire room fell silent when another voice from someone again, leaning against the door frame was heard. Unconsciously, the smile on Griselle's face widen.
