Chapter 03

Taka arrived at an apartment after almost three hours walking around. There, all family members were waiting for him. They immediately saluted when Taka entered.

"Welcome, sir!"

"Yes."

Then, Taka sat on the floor with all his family members. And as usual, they talked and talked a lot of things.

"Hey, uncle Shiro, how long have I been awake?"

Taka's question made those who were busy chatting stop talking for a moment.

"Apparently, it's been two years, sir. What's up?"

The octopus spoke while approaching Taka. And, then their bodies turn into humans. A woman and two middle-aged men.

"What are you guys doing?"

Taka surprised the three of them.

"Forgive us, sir."

The cat immediately knelt and apologized.

"Raku, Yamato, Ayakashi."

"Yes sir!"

The three of them immediately answered after Taka called them.

"Long time no see."

"Yes, more than two hundred years."

Yamato replied while taking out a beer bottle from under his Kimono. Yeah, Yamato No Orochi the Snake, Nekomata Raku, and Ayakashi Octopus. They are Taka's subordinates.

"Raku, this is your seal. Someone gave it to me during the Sekigahara war."

Raku was shocked by the bracelet Taka was holding and immediately reached out her hand.

"Wear it, it suits you."

"Thank you sir."

"Yes."

Then, Taka turned to Yamato and Ayakashi.

"Hmm, you all match that look."

"Hehehe, thank you, sir."

Yamato looks happy with Taka's praise. Then, looked at his palm.

"You need your sword? You can pick it up in the Ori forest. Also, the Nabe chain is there. Take it, you can use it."

Hearing Taka's words, Ayakashi and Yamato's faces smiled.

"Thank you sir."

Yamato then bowed his head, followed by Ayakashi.

"Yes, but, don't use that weapon carelessly. This is not a time when we can destroy anything. It's enough with the massacre we did."
