Thanks for the anxiety

Having safely avoided extramarital activities once again, Aki stepped back to his reality, his portal having attracted many a demon which he nedded to dispose off at a later time. They'd all been safely captured and thrown in cells made for their races, so he'd properly end their souls when he had his next combat job.

It took a bit to completly get out of the issolation field so he could update his system, but he ultimately gained a couple dozen levels for negotiating with a demoness of such caliber and creating a lasting partnership.

He could probably try to update his page by himself at this point, but he'd wait till it was a sure thing that he'd not break something. Survival came before convenience after all.

Looking back, he should have probably taken these jobs separatedly. Sure, 'Cupiditas' didn't get XP only from sex, this venture having gained him some levels in it as well, but most of it's multipliers focused on manipulation through desire and satisfying desire, which generaly ment intercourse.

While he thought himself capable of doing it without putting his heart into it, which would likely have him cap both jobs quite quickly considering the number of problems he could solve with his dick, normal skill and Cardinal skills, the idea of actually doing so still gave him nausea. Granted, there was that time with the girl he'd first saved way back when he was killing goblin scouts and that other time with the three hookers, but he'd mostly thought of them as extras in the play.

It'd been a whole month since he'd been declared baron, but he was still stuck.

Were someone other than his wives to know of his complaints, they'd probably die trying to kill him or imediatly materialise Envy. A month to get so close to level 100 was already fast, nevermind he did two very high ranked non-combantant jobs.

As the somewhat distracted and horny teen walked out of the mountain in the middle of nowhere, he schooled his expression and teleported through his dungeons to reach his outermost territory, easily spending tens of thousands of mana on the thousand kilometer trip.

While his status said he only had 49K, that was mostly because he didn't want to look at the several addictive bonuses he'd accrued through collecting several jobs.

Adding it all together he actually had... Between three to five times that, depending on how long he took to empty his pool since his regeneration would always be active. Though he barely had it at 180% before getting his enhancement skill to evolve again

He never actually had the chance to empty his reserves completely though, since he carried around so many mana batteries and could even take some mana from his dungeons.

Gustav looked through the window of his carriage again.

The fields of corn were long green lines covering a great expanse and several humanoids could be seen tending to the crops' health as to ensure the quality of the magically grown stalks.

Though there didn't seem to be an imminent harvest, he recognized that the cleared fields surrounding the plantation had a couple of fodder plants growing around in way too orderly fashion.

As someone that had learned a thing or two about magic and it's uses on land, he recognized that they intended to fertilize land with a special rotation circle.

Using the fact the area's winter would not kill some resilient crops since the temperature never came even close to snowing, they'd make 'eternal' fields by sharing the surroundings' nutrients through magic to keep the land at max efficiency.

He could only have conflicted feelings about this.

While a great idea on paper, it generally needed a lot of mages to put on practice. He'd heard of some elven comunities that held several festivals so as to use their natural abilities to keep their fields with great rituals and that a hero of the past had tried to grow eternal ricefields on a mountain with immense magical flow, but those were considered exceptions to the rule of ussing several teams to maintain something like this, which would greatly reduce any profit one might make with it in case they actually had access to said mages, so the strategy was normally ussed for logistical porpuses mostly, but in case of a famine it'd be because of something happening to the natural process of growing crops anyway.

The pigsty was a very well done by whatever measure he ussed though. Their diet would be varied for obvious reasons, there were apparently already plenty of them for some reason, and the adults were able to find plenty of mushrooms through the florest, maybe even truffles, though he didn't know if it was the correct kind of soil to find those.

He could actually see a small dog kin girl trying to teach a pigglet not to eat a death cap right now actually. The scene was rather heart warming, but also made him cringe with the notion that a child was walking around with something so dangerous.

Luckily he didn't get to see the herbalist's apprentice eating the mushroom, or he'd get even more worried even though the girl had her poison resistance at level 5 and more vitality than five grown men.

The village itself was well built and planned, the inn, hospital and mayor's office having two floors each, the former and the later near the center of the vilage, with the second in a possition more centralised with the farms but still within the area of the more 'residential' distric. A place reserved for a blacksmith's shop stood in a clearing, far away from anything it might set aflame. The storage area was well taken care off, like someone was extremely terified things stored inside might lit aflame from a mere spark or rot because of one fly and made sure to shove that same feeling of dread into whoever had to be around.

The marquis' second secretary was able to quickly analise his surroundings, both with his experience in the field and with the couple enchanted items he used. Fixing his glasses, Gus was happy to see the mayor stepping fowards to receive him without much delay. He still shivered a bit intimidated when being looked down by the six and a half feet bull-kin, even if said bearded giant was smiling and offering a giant hand for a shake.

"Sir Gustav, a pleasure to have you at our humble vilage. I am sorry for not coming earlier, but even with the warning from the hunters it still took a while for your arival to reach my ears, then i had to excuse myself from the discussion with the guild representative, i'm sure you understand." His baritone declared, leaving little space for a reply. "Where are my manners? I am mayor Gray Calis Clearskies, this way please, of the Auvar village, personaly appointed by the Cou... I'm sorry, he is still a Baron at the moment, these things are easy to let slip with my inexpearence. Forgive the slip of the tongue, why don't we begin the discussions about our evaluation plan over a bit of coffee, a present from my lord himself, and take out a bit of wine when we finish everything? I'm sure the villagers would love the experience of having such pleasent company and..."

As the chatterbox went on, Gus found himself and the confused guild official both hardly oppening their mouths, their queries answered through both normal dialog, observation or from the paperwork with surprisingly refined but clearly masculine handwriting that was quickly presented to them in the brief moments the mayor appreciated his hot beverage.

Which was quite hard for desk clerk considering how strong it was, but both him and other man in the room started adapting to the taste and even appreciate the aroma when Gray explained what cafeine did, his words seamlessly flowing into the paperwork for the allocation of a squeleton crew of the adventurer's guild, proudly announcing how the goddess of life and the god of family themselves had handed many a job selection crystal to Baron Augustus so he could worry less about his people.

While the fact was shocking to the point there was an accident with coffee, Gustav found himself putting a diferent meaning to the several statues and shrines over the roads, farms, central square...

Aki gleefully watched as his personally trained bard enchanted both officials, efficiently delivering the information they wanted to give and making it hard to focus on anything but. Dotting the 'i's and crossing the 't's, the young man finished his list of recomended medications.

Gray's wife had been quite worried recently, her already great bosom starting to hurt, her head light, but a quick check-up confirmed that she was, indeed, super pregnant. When he congratulated her on getting triplets after trying for so long (Acording to a certain chatterbox), she paled. Quickly noticing her missunderstanding, he reasured the woman that even if the local doctors were unable to help, he'd deliver the three giant sized babies himself and keep her from suffering too much damage.

Not wanting to complement his failure at pacifying her with mind magic, Aki instead ussed a complex spell to project the meeting room, ussing her husband's voice as a soothing sound, the woman had good taste really, as he comforted her on how she'd be the first of her tribe to birth and raise so many beautifull children, which actually stopped the near panic attack she'd been having after some more reassurings.

By the end of it the giant woman was smiling and inviting him to dine with them. Instead he reminded her that he still hadn't told her of the cares she should take.

"My Lord, no offense, but I know enough." She wrily smiled.

"Really? Do tell me guard captain, which is the period you should start to abstain from extraneous activities? Which sexual positions are forbidden? Which herbs are the best for a pregnant bull-kin expecting triplets? How much lube should you use?" And so he went on, grinning as he embarrassed the married woman, who actually seemed quite interested.

Rewarding a subject had never been so easy.

Around the same time.

"My lady." Said the worried assistant while trying to wake up Mari. He'd called for her some times now, but it was still surprising that he needed to get up and shake the woman who was usually the most energetic even if they had to pull an all nighter. The other bureaucrats were also thinking it strange and their gazes spurred him on.

"Uh, what?" She slowly awoke.

"My lady, you slept on your table. Are you ok?"

"Sorry Jonas, I've just felt very tired these days and haven't caught up on sleep either. Let me just go to the bathroom and get some coffee and i will be right back up." She replied, her bladder ready to explode. Her assistant still looked worried, but didn't try to dissuade her from her work again. He'd just take some more piles and distribute them so she'd go home already.

Really, the man never expected that one day he'd be rescued from slavery to be thrown around and forced to work than find that now his life conditions are even better than before the capture, his boss an inspiration to...

"My lady, why are you crying?!" He exclaimed, the whole room staring into her face now.

"I am?" She asked, blinking in surprise as she felt her cheeks were wet. "Strange, i'm not specially sad either."

"My lady, shouldn't you check with a healer or your husband? I hear he is quite skilled in healing, so maybe he would know?" He suggested, not knowing what to do and having no time to understand what she ment by 'Good idea' before the sound of a twig breaking could be heard and suddenly mana flooded the office, a tear in space appearing besides Mari as an armored and battle ready Aki stepped through almost instantly, scanning the room full of surprised officials and taking his wife's hand, presumaly checking her condition.

"Did something..." The rough voice was brimming with worry, yet there was an unnatural pause quickly after he began speaking, his helmet dissapearing, showing a shocked expression on the young man's face.

"Honey, what's happening to me?" Asked a serious Mari. Aki still didn't answer, so everyone just held their breath thinking the worst, though one or the other started to notice.

"... Pregnant." He murmured, though the might as well he shouted in the silent room. "You're pregnant." He repeated, disbelief and shock easy to see. If one were to look at the magical side of things, they'd notice that he'd actually even stopped ussing several spells, deactivated several enchantments and had his connections all muddled.

He was literally at his weakest.
