To my dearest uncle

Ren was entering old man John's house and say both of the animals were still passed out.

Ren got excited as he unpacked all his precious items.

Spot started to wake up and was whining because he had a hangover, Ren found some hard bread in a basket and dropped all of them onto the floor. Spot started to eat and then made a weird sound, Ren grabbed Spot and threw him out the door just as he started to vomit, whew just in time he thought that wasn't the case for bear, he heard Spot puking and went outside to see what was happening and yuck he started to eat the puke,oh nasty Ren thought.

Dog's will be dog's I guess.

Spot came into the house looking a little bit better, a few minutes later Bear came in not looking so good Ren pushed Bear back outside and closed the door.

Ren started to snoop around John's house again and was looking at some pictures and noticed the man that Ren had smiled at was in one of the picture's as he looked more closely he saw the man in more pictures and not only as a man but

as a young man and a boy.

John had personal letters in a drawer next to his bed and was slowly going through them.

There must have been two hundred letters in there . No way I can figure out who is who , no pictures, no indication on how I can figure out who is who.

Ren decided to check on the back of the pictures, on a picture with a little boy riding on a bike in the back of the picture was written,

To my dearest Uncle. Love Adam.

Adam that's his name, I gotta find Adam and tell him what happened to his uncle, and apologize.

about not telling him that when he saw him but at the time Ren didn't know Adam was his nephew .

Something caught Ren's attention outside Bear was trying to jump over the fence but couldn't get his fat butt over it.

Then he saw Adam coming into sight Ren had started to put all the pictures back as quickly as possible.

Adam came into the house and yelled hey Unc are you around. Ren's heart was beating fast and he didn't know what to say, how was he going to tell him his uncle was dead and in the ground.

What if he blames me for his death, what if he tries to hurt me or turn me into the SS . I have to think, i have to think, think, think ,think.

Adam walked in and saw Ren in the spare room that belonged to the girl.

But before Ren could say anything Adam started yelling where is my uncle, Ren looked down at the floor and said nothing, twiddling his thumbs still looking at the floor. Adam charged at Ren and lifted his hand to hit Ren when Spot came running into the room startlingly Adam in mid swing making him lose his balance and falling into the bed. Then Adam jumped up was that a flippen bear. Y-yes Ren said, where did he come from Adam asked. I found him his mother is dead. Where's my uncle, calm down Ren said I will explain as Ren told Adam about the last couple days Adams eyes welled up with tears and was about to cry but held it back. He told Adam everything except about the money he might need it to plot his revenge.

Adam was thinking then asked was it the SS and Ren shook his head yes. Are you sure it was them Adam asked again. Yes Ren answered.

Your family isn't the only ones hit by these guys they are bab news first they killed the owner of the house that their headquarters is now located and a couple of more farmer's have been found murdered. I want revenge I want to kill them all Ren said . I wish they were all dead , I want to kill them for what they did to my family.

Adam smiled and said welcome to the resistance. You are now the youngest official member. What are you talking about I have never heard of the resistance. Ren got scared I can't fight an adult. And the killing part I can't do it I'm just a kid . I know your a kid and leave the fighting to the adults, they're not expecting a kid to watch their every move. I just need you to watch them possibly follow them and see what they are up to .

I didn't expect you to join in the fighting, a huge sigh of relief came out of Ren's mouth.

Do you know why I came here to my uncle's house well you see the horse you were riding is mine and I thought the SS had come here and raided my uncle's house and you were either working for them or a spy that they gave the horse to as a reward for spying. I'm glad he was helping someone when he passed and someone was there and he didn't die alone Adam said.

Your uncle was a very kind man and listening to his last words broke my heart. Ren had said.

Thank you for burying him all I need to do is have a cross commissioned to mark his grave.

Already done Ren replied it will be ready in three days. Ren happily replied.

But I had them only put John on the cross maybe when you go back to town you can have his last name added, sounds good to me Adam said, you didn't have to get a cross for him .

Oh yes I did kindness begets kindness.

Adam understood why Ren didn't want to go home, it wasn't home anymore it was a place of death and heartbreak.

Adam told Ren to stay as long as he wanted to just as long as he took care of the animal's that lives there.
