Are we there yet

It's fun to trick Hanz and Franz, it's so easy to they are gullible. Heim was heading to the brig to check on Henry after the beating Henry got Heim knew the captain wasn't playing around.

Six sailors were beating Henry Heim could only watch, if he intervened it would be a sign of mutiny.

So Heim kept his mouth shut, Heim wanted to say that he wasn't going to talk but the captain wouldn't have listened, instead Heim had to endure the screams of pain Henry had to go through.

As Heim came down the stairs he heard laughing and joking, Hanz and Franz, he thought as Heim neared them he saw them dragging the lifeless body of Henry and he looked at them and said let the fish have him, Hanz and Franz nodded and continued up the stairs as Heim stood there in shock, he heard Franz say here fishy fishy fishy ,then the laughing again.

Heim then started to head back upstairs to rest in a room. If he went down stairs he would've seen Ben with a piece of yarn and bubble gum trying to fish for the keys that Hanz had left on the desk. As Ben threw the gum it would fall short I need more weight he thought, that's when Ben tied a penny on the yarn and threw it again, missed dang ok try it again, as hey threw the yarn again the penny flew off the yarn and bounced around the floor. Then Ben heard footsteps and laughter, shit times up guess I will try again later. Ben hid everything but the chewed up bubble gum, he threw that on the chair next to the desk. The gum landed almost in the center of the chair, bullseye Ben said, Hanz looked at Ben and said your friend is ok he is sleeping, Ben looked at him weirdly and said no he died, no Franz said he's sleeping, then they looked at each other and said in unison, he's sleeping with the fishes now , the howling and laughing didn't stop for ten minutes Ben tried to block it out with a pillow that was on the bed.

After all the hooten and hollering was over Ben Finally fell asleep, he was dreaming of candy bars and popcorn, and all food at the county fair peanuts, hotdogs funnel cakes.

Ben had woken up and was starving he looked around and saw a plate of mashed potatoes, sauerkraut and sausages, as Ben finished his dinner he looked around nobody was there, Ben looked at the desk, damn it no key they must've taken it with them. Damn well what would I do if I escaped anyway, there's nowhere to hide on a ship, I wonder what they did with Henry's body I am pretty sure they did throw him over board why keep a corpse on a ship it will just rot and stink , poor Henry I just can't get him off my mind he was always nice to me. Stop it stop it Ben whispered you have to think about your self .

Heim was sitting in a corner in his room and was drinking some beer, and saying things to Henry,

a toast, a toast to a nice guy who didn't deserve his payment. That was the captain's payment for Henry, his body beaten to a pulp while the captain looked on .

He didn't deserve it no he didn't, Heim rattled on like that for another fifteen minutes before he passed out.

Then alarm bells started to go off , crews to battle stations , Ben didn't understand the language but he knew alarms going off were not good, then cannon fire could be heard, there were about thirty cannon shots and then silence,

Heim woke up in a fright and jumped up instantly sober, running to the command center of the ship

as spotlights stopped where the ship was they can only see wood drifting around, the captain then looked at the spotter and said you dummy we just sank a fishing boat, as the spotlights were still moving around they saw the boats flag partially sticking out of the water, it was a Chinese vessel, a fishing boat, not a battleship,

the captain yelled full speed ahead, if the Chinese found them on their waters they will hunt them down. The captain wanted out of there and fast.

Heim said what happened and the captain said shut up you do not question me on my ship, and then pulled a gun on Heim and said I don't like you, you are the only person to survive a bombing in a French country side barn you had no injuries and yet your whole platoon was wiped out, you know who was with you Heimel in that barn my little brother, rumor has it that you are a traitor, you fell for a French poodle and turned against us , for some tail, you planted the bomb and let everyone die.

Heim looked at the captain and said, why are you saying these things I have never been to France, and never met a French woman.

Captain I don't know who told you these things about me but I can assure you that they are not true.

The captain put his pistol away and said prove it , Heim said looked at my service record, I am sure that you received it from the higher ups and I never went to France. I have for the last fifteen years been by the fuhrer as a bodyguard.

The captain knowing that the Intel he had gotten was in deed false, the captain got up and saluted Heim and apologized for the false accusations.

As the captain sat in his chair pondering what had transpired that evening and ordered all the men to tell him the truth, that's not going to happen the captain said no one is going to get any leads . Forget it I would probably be interrogating for ever and not get anywhere.

Ben heard the shots being fired but couldn't see a thing Ben said if we were in trouble the alarms would still be going off. So Ben went back to sleep.
