Gratitude

The soldiers that once had the power were now the ones begging for their lives.

As Rebecca came upon the scene, with Ex, Jerry and Casper. The soldiers asked for freedom and were sorry for what they had done.

All of it fell on deaf ears as the once prisoners now wanted revenge from their tormentors.

Ben and Ren started to meditate and were ignoring everything going on.

Rebecca approached the soldiers and asked for

the one prisoner from France, he ran off after the fight said a former prisoner.

Now what shall we do with all of you Rebecca asked as she looked at the soldiers, kill them said a voice from the crowd, Ex loaded his weapon and said ok faster than anyone else could react as he started to fire into the the soldiers, Ex killed most of them as he emptied his clip and reloaded and started to fire some more.

Rebecca was yelling for him to stop but the hatred in his mind wouldn't let him.

Enemy after enemy fell to the ground dead,

all except for one Ex let him live, Ex told him to tell his superiors what he had witnessed and to tell them they are next.

We are coming and the forces of good will be killing them one by one if need be.

The soldier was then stripped of any weapons that he possessed and most of his clothes. Most of the stolen jewelry stolen from the Jews were taken back .

The lonely soldier that was laughing and helped to beat the Jews was now in fact taking his medicine as twenty or more people started to beat on him.

He was crying and screaming for his mother as they left him half dead, death would be to good for him, we must let him suffer for life with the guilt of killing a child. May the demons forever haunt your soul as you sleep you will see the horror of the child that was murdered until the last breath you take.

the soldier crawled for a while then eventually got up and stumbled away. The crowd cheered for the men who suddenly right before their eyes turned into little boys.

Their eyes boggled and their jaws dropped in sheer amazement, their saviors were children,

not just any children, kids with powers.

They dropped to their knees and prayed and saying that they were their gods, Ben liked the idea but then the voice talked to him in his mind and both Ben and Ren in unison said remember what happened when a false God is worshipped over the true God, just remember who your real God is and pray to him for he had sent us to free you from tyranny.

Rebecca told the boys it's time to go and bid them farewell and wished them luck on their journey home.

Luis thought to himself as they were walking away those children they are amazing,

they helped us and didn't ask for anything.

I should rethink my revenge and pray for guidance on the matter.

Ben and Ren had already changed the lives of so many Rebecca thought and they have only been together for a few days.

I feel complete now knowing they have each other.

Heim looked for Ben for a day before giving up , he was going to have to look again in the morning.

Heim was scared for Ben they have been through a lot together and Heim had to go through alot just to get him, I hope the SS didn't get him but no one knew that he was there.

As a new day dawned Heim frantically packed some food and water and made for the mountains and forest, but before he left his wife kissed his face and said be careful as she handed him a pistol.

Heim had looked for Ben for hours and it was about midday as he sat on a tree that had fallen over, eating a little and drinking some water.

Then some rustling came from a few yards away and Heim quietly hid behind the tree, then in the distance Heim saw a man in his underwear wandering the forest lost and delirious Heim slowly got up and called out to the man.

He was bloodied and had bruises all over his body.

Heim asked if he wanted some water and he said yes please. Heim offered a canteen to the man and asked if he was ok.

The man then broke down and told a story that made no sense, two men attacked them while they were on a March and killed all but him.

Then the men turned into boys while they sat with their eyes closed.

Wait a minute said Heim you were on a March and they killed them all how many people were in the March, twenty two said the man but they killed them all.

How did they kill them all who do you work for?

Heim asked the man.

I am in the German army and they killed my men with their bare hands. Do you know their names

yeah a woman called them Ben and Ren as she came up to talk to them.

And where were you marching to Heim asked.

The man answered Auschwitz, Heims mouth dropped to the ground and Heim got his composure back and said so you were on a death march huh?

Yes but we only traveled for three days before they ambushed us.

What direction did this happen and how far?

The man pointed due west and said it was about five miles away.

As Heim circled behind the man Heim said thank you for the information, as Heim grabbed the man's head and twisted it fast and hard as he snapped the man's neck.

We you won't be telling anyone else about that story. Then Heim started to head in the direction that the man pointed at and was going as fast as he could.
